Contact Solar System Scope Support

I guess this review is kind of a “twofer”. Initially, I purchased this app for use on my 27” 5k Retina display iMac. I also found it in the App Store for iOS so I downloaded it for my iPad Pro. I’ll detail the various issues I’ve encountered below. 1) I mentioned my iMac because it is more than capable of running apps like this. Yet, my iMac has two problems with it: A) The app freezes frequently. Even when removing objects such as the asteroids to reduce the load on the computer. B) Quitting the app brings about the rainbow wheel of death. At this point, the only solution becomes to “force quit” the application. Today, after I downloaded the app the next issue quickly became evident. The app does function very well and smooth. (What parts of it are included in the download.) This is where I take issue. Having to pay for an app that I have already paid for. I could not find any place where I could “login” to prove I had already bought the app and should be able to enjoy all of its functions accordingly. I can’t. If I want to enjoy the full functionality of the app on my iOS device, I have to re-pay for an app I have already bought. So, given the above reasons, I can only give this app one star. It’s only real saving grace is its beauty but unless and until these issues get resolved, it’s like putting lipstick on a pig.

So, i purchased the desktop version for Windows, i purchased the iPad Pro and iPhone iOS version, i purchased the 3d models of the solar system upgrade pack, and....nothing? Your software doesn't work. On iOS, it won't even open. As i said, it crashes on startup. (and i even went to the trouble of completely erasing my brand new iPad Pro 12.9 and reinstalling all its programs and resetting all its settings as a new device because i want to use your software.) I firts contacted your company about this months ago. I'm sure you folks are good people making a fun product, and i would imagine you take your work seriously, but if you take money from someone then don't supply the product that was paid for, that's a scam. It has been MONTHS ihave patiently waited for a resolution to this issue. I don't have anything i paid for from your company, (excepting the desktop Windows version, which works just fine.) And the one reply i got from you is just to say "thanx for the email"? It's been so long now that the software i bought from your company crashes on startup that i'm now on a newer version of the operating system, that being 11.4. I would expecteithera refund of my purchase price or some kind of resolution to the issues that prevent me from using the product i purchased from you. I await your detailed reply with answers to my inquiry.

This app has many details, but could use some work. Examples: There are many comets and their orbits shown, and the comets look spectacular, but one I noticed was missing was the Hale-Bopp Comet that was clearly visible in the night sky in 1997. Even though this comet will not be visible in the night sky again for over 1000 years, it should be part of this app. Planetary and planet moon details are also limited and should be improved. Use Celestial as an example of how this app can be improved.
