limited number of rhymes

Most people who use apps like this want OPTIONS to choose from not zero to three words...
A lot of the words I tried didn't have ANY results except the exact same word. I'm disappointed. However, I do understand that it would be a challenge to create and assign a lot of rhymes to a lot of words.

Why would you not add near rhymes to a rhyming dictionary? If you need exact rhymes then just stick to them but most people using this are poets, songwriters, etc. in which near rhymes are great. For the word coffee it gave me ONE rhyme, toffee. What about bossy, posse, glossy, hydroxy, not me, all week, not sleep, etc. pathetic. I'm a better rhyming dictionary than PrimeRhyme.

Sorry for the Pokemon pun but PrimeRhyme doesn't give all the words that rhyme with the word you put in to the search box. For instance when I put in "different" I didn't get one match not even "indifferent" that is sad because there is consent,management,absent,.....see where I'm going with this PrimeRhyme needs a major update to give the correct amount of rhyming words

Not impressed. It does have a very clean interface, so clean in fact that it only displayed one of the three words I searched. Granted this is no Oxford/Merriam Webster dictionary, but these words were not all that fancy. It managed to rhyme the only one it recognized. That's the reason for the second star. Improve the lexicon somehow and I will re-review. Perhaps add our partner with better source websites. Not recommended for any wordsmiths, or vocabulary geeks like me. Granted I only tried 3 words, but 33.3% success rate doesn't cut it for me. Deleting, will try it again later because I do like the interface. Waiting for increase in content.

Half the time, the definitions for words don’t show up

PrimeRhyme has its ups and downs. the definition part is great and it's very easy to use, but it does not have all possible words that rhyme and that is the main point so it's not as great as I thought

Great interface very sleek but not the best system. Only found 30 rhymes for the word "sea" and none of them were normal words. Great interface, poor performance.

This is a wonderful app I've been using for approximately 2 years for writing raps and songs of all types. I've found this app to help quite a lot when running into writers block, however, there is one major issue I've had. When tapping on some words to see the definition PrimeRhyme crashes taking you back to the home screen. It doesn't matter what you do, that word is that way. I've tried closing PrimeRhyme out by sliding it away then reloading it, I've tried locking and unlocking my phone, and I have even tried turning my phone off and back on and nothing worked. I am also of the opinion that you should have another feature for near rhymes, in another tab perhaps such as the Merriam Webster dictionary app with its dictionary/Thesaurus feature. If you are unaware of what a near rhyme is it is words like near and pure that if you pronounce slightly differently they will sound similar.

I write lots of music (Christian Slam/Brutal Death Metal, Alt. Rock, Indie, etc), and this has helped me come up with rhymes. I gave it four stars, only because I think the layout is simple, and PrimeRhyme has some minor issues. Overall, pretty good.

Prime Rhyme is a minimalist program that delivers maximum results. Nothing on the screen is distracting or cluttered. The interface is plain and simple. The search engine is accurate and fast. Best of all, the list of rhymes pops up quickly and without needless junk. I use the program to help write song lyrics, and it was most useful.

Please update PrimeRhyme , otherwise its not compatible anymore
