2.1 out of 5
Doesn't pair with iPhone

Can't get it to recognize Bluetooth connection . Nope - wont work . Very disappointing

Messed it up with the last update

I can no longer get my iPad to recognize my device model number RAR213 HG. The device works fine and reads all of my remotes just fine but the iPad can’t even find it to connect to.

iOS 13.2

Will WEATHER @ home connect with iOS 13.2 Bluetooth?
After update cannot connect!

Doesn’t work for IOS anymore

WeatherHome is not working for any iPhone at the moment.

Stopped Working with IOS 11.2.1

Was working for about 6 months with no issues.
But.....
Now after the latest IOS 11.2.1
when trying to connect, I get
“No device Found”

Crashes

Doesn't work with iPad running iOS 9.1. Tried sinking with station 4 time, just continued to show loading, did never complete sinking with weather station. Don't buy if you want to use app with station....👎

UPDATE THIS APP!!!!!

Stopped working after IOS 14

Please fix!

It used to work great until, it seems, the last app update a couple weeks ago. Now it just scans for the station in WeatherHome . While scanning, my station does show the phone icon, so it’s picking up the signal, just won’t connect. Please fix and make your customers happy!! I’m using iPhone 6 with up to date software.

This update does not work on iPhone

The last update is not working well on iOS 11: It is not possible to connect to the thermometer (keeps the “loading” message indefinitely) until you reset the device via the reset button. The last version did not had this problem.

Not Good

Constantly loses sync. Unit does not communicate with iPhone. Needs resetting every other week. Tech support is nonexistent.

Bug in iPad

Crashes when uploading history from station to iPad. Any suggestions on fix?

Crashes Constantly

Crashes every time it attempts to sync.

Needs more features

I'd like to see more features such as

-Overlay multiple stations in one chart
-Export option, send data to an email in CSV

If those features were in place it would get 4 stars from me

History Doesn't Work

The summary page showing current conditions works as advertised. The history page for each sensor just shows a big white block where the graphical data should be. And the daily min and max are stuck at 32 degrees. I've deleted and reinstalled WeatherHome , still doesn't work. Since I can get current conditions my bluetooth seems to be working fine. But without historical trends WeatherHome is of limited use, I can always just look at the main display to find out what the current temperature is.

Problem solved

I was having problems connecting to my iPhone. I reset the base and now everything is working. Will keep you updated on how long. Other then that I like the device.

History feature not working with iOS 11

WeatherHome is just okay, or at least it was up until I updated to iOS 11. Now the history info won’t load. WeatherHome crashes after loading the history. The immediate measurements are still working. It appears that Oregon Scientific has abandoned WeatherHome. If so, it’s really a shame. The hardware is not very attractive without WeatherHome .

Won’t work on iOS8 Updated for v1.0.4

WeatherHome was working fine until I updated to iOS8. Now it intermittently connects and I have to pair it all the time. When it does connect it only shows the first digit of the temperature for each sensor. I have deleted and reinstalled and reset the weather station but it does not help. WeatherHome also crashes frequently. Hopefully they will update WeatherHome . UPDATE for 1.0.4 The latest update did fix the connection & crashing problem but I had to delate & do a fresh install. One thing remains is when I have Bold Text turned on I can only see the first digit of the temp. and no humidity reading at all on the summery page for the sensors. The Bold Text is bolder in iOS8 than 7. I would like to see this fixed because I like Bold Text turned on on my iPhone 6.

So far, so good

After reading the posted reviews, I didn't expect the Bluetooth pairing to work. At first, it didn't want to pair but after reading the User Manual I saw I had to hold the Up Arrow button on the main unit after making the request. Within 2-3 seconds it paired and soon I could see the readings from the two remote units I've had for over ten years now. So really happy this device has backward compatibility.
I've only played with the Settings a short time but so far no crashes.
I didn't rate it 5 stars as some of the options are unintuitive and the Min/Max values are both higher than the current temperature. But I want to see how things settle down after a few days use.

Worked for me

Installed WeatherHome on my iPhone 6 (OS 9) and after a couple minute wait for the home station it did pair ok. Also paired my wife's phone as well at same time.

Works as it should

Thank you for the upgrade. It works with iso 14.
