Kana Quiz Flashcard Reviews

It's a good app for learning and practicing kana. But it requires a 99 cent purchase to unlock the full version & have more than a few sets. I'd love to pay the dollar but the in app purchase is just a dead button and you can't unlock it.

Maybe I didn't spend enough time, but I didn't see any diacritics, and there is no way to really just study them all at the same time.

That being said, KanaQuizFlashcard is very nicely designed and the way words are mixed in with kana learning is a very neat touch.

This is a good app that can help you study. The biggest drawback is that the user should be able to adjust the timer, as it's much to fast for beginners. Personally, I won't upgrade until they update with some kind of timer control.

KanaQuizFlashcard has great potential. The main drawback is that you can only be quizzed on 3-5 different kana at a time and cannot be quizzed on all at once. Worth a buck, sure, but it could be so much better.

Best tool for learning hiragana and katana I've seen especially at the price (considering that you do purchase the upgrade).

I'd like a bigger word section for each row in the table. The pool is barely decent. I tend to have it more or less memorized after 3 repetitions.

I would like to be able to just quiz words once you've mastered a section.

It would be nice if the quiz moved onto the next question as soon as you answer. I hate waiting out the timer.

KanaQuizFlashcard is great. I have another app that teaches me Japanese and this helps me remember the characters for constructing/reading words. My only complaint is there are no dakuden (tenten) characters to learn, so I have to catch on to those on my own. The $1 I payed for all hiragana and katana is worth it.
Suggestions: Add dakuden, add an "All Hiragana/Katakana Quiz" that includes all of them, and the option before the quiz to include words during the quiz.

KanaQuizFlashcard would be incredible if it jumbled all the hiragana or katakana together.

You should add a mode with all the kana and a mode with all the hiragana!!

Currently you can only test is small groups of kana, like (ka, ki, ku, ke, ko). It needs to have a large quiz to test ALL kana. Then it would be 5 stars.

Good for trying to memorize katakana and hiragana. However, it would so much better if you there was a mode to mix all the letters instead of having them in one lesson each.

I love KanaQuizFlashcard it helps me so much in remembering all hiragana and kantankana, simple, easy and fast.
It'll help so much more if you add all sound for letters with "まる （ぷ）" and "てんてん（ぶ）" and the sound when pronouncing "っ" and so on thank you so much this helped me so much ✨✨

This is an elegant app. Simple to play and fun to use. Best used if you think you already recognize the kana, these flash cards are perfect for testing what you think you already know!

Concentrated practice on a set of katakana / hiragana. The small sets of characters make it easy to practice, and firmly sets each one in your mind. A fair price of $1 to upgrade to the full set of katakana / hiragana. Definitely essential to practice!

I really like that I can use KanaQuizFlashcard to memorize all the symbols and go back and replay any of the sets. I do wish that I could choose the speed of the quiz since the time counting down doesn't match the selection time, aside from that it's good work so far! I will recommend this to anyone trying to memorize hiragana and katakana!

This is a great flash card app but it needs to quiz you on more stuff at once. Only going over 4 one at a time is a bit easy.

This far outdoes all of the other hiragana learning apps in KanaQuizFlashcard Store. Nothing does better then this. No ads, no distractions, just my learning style...

I've tried a dozen and this is the easiest and most practical app I've found. Lessons build on each other and you actually learn vocabulary while learning the alphabet. Draw back of not being able to adjust the timer.

I have been using this to help my 5 year old child learn Hiragana and her progress has been amazing. And she thinks it's fun which helps too!

It would be great if there were some add-on flashcard sets for basic Kanji as the quiz format and layout are done quite well.

I LOVE this it's really well done and I appreciate KanaQuizFlashcard so much it's really helped me learn. The only thing is I'd like it if there was a way for all the parts of the hiragana/katakana to quiz on. Like instead of just five at once the entire alphabet. Please could you make that work? Thank you for KanaQuizFlashcard tho :}

This is the best app to use if your trying to learn the alphabet. Absolutely amazing and I've used other apps but this by far is the best.

Have a good time learning the symbols. I've found a bug and don't know how to report it. But if you tap on an answer to fast it kinda makes it go all buggy.

But great job!
