Slow Fast Slow - Control the Speed of Your Videos Reviews

I’ve tried other apps to speed up my videos and they stop at 4x speed increase, lose my HD video quality, and just don’t work that well. This one is a really good app — it’s easy to import and export videos and allows for multiple points you can put in a video to speed up/slow down certain points. This one allows up to 8x speed increase of the imported video, so for faster ones you’ll have to save and import the video again but that’s easy enough. I haven’t seen any ads yet either beyond a quick message when you open SlowFastSlow for first time after downloading then any time after that just a quick small message that you can click on to go to their website or continue with what you’re doing instead of annoying ads that become a nuisance. Definitely recommend SlowFastSlow though! It works great so my videos still have the HD quality and a nice smooth high speed playback after saving the edited video that I then import into iMovie and this works great! I use this as iMovie will only increase a video up to 2x original speed.

SlowFastSlow does not have the exposure it deserves. It doesnt try to scam you into unlocking or paying for extra features. It does great for slow and fast. Yeah, theres limits but by exporting and re editing, you can surpass the limit. Its easy to use and you can speed up and slow down in one clip. Most other apps i have come across or either or and not both. Honestly, i dont know why SlowFastSlow has more exposure, this is great! Its crashed on me maybe once out for 25-30 uses. Yeah the rendering might take a bit but thats acceptable for the amount it lets you edit per video.

The only thing i would say is a con is that its a bit hard to fine tune on a small phone screen but other than that, i recommend 100%

First off, SlowFastSlow does not push any in app purchases for “unlocking” certain features or packages. That is AMAZING because we are all tired of downloading “free” apps just to realize that the reason for downloading them costs $1.99 to “unlock”. Anyway, SlowFastSlow has a super clean layout that is user friendly (extremely easy to use) and I prefer it 100% over the iPhone Photos app editing of slow motion/videos in general. You can choose the points at which the speed changes and by how much just by dragging the dots (great for visual people like myself) and it also allows you to trim. Can the developers release more editing apps because I will download them all

I wrote a review previously and the developer responded but the review never showed up here. So I am posting it again. I found SlowFastSlow after going through at least a half dozen scammy ad-ridden video speed apps. SlowFastSlow is actually pretty good and it does what it says. The only downside is the 800% limit. So if you want to make a 4000% faster video you have to make a sped-up video and then import that video and speed it up again. So its just an extra step, big deal! It’s also a nice touch that it gives you a choice to use the chipmunk audio or just sample the regular audio playback speed. 4 out of 5 stars. Almost perfect.

I love SlowFastSlow and I love using but it can be difficult using it sometimes because of having to long press to add a point. I wish instead of holding down to add a point there would be a button that you could add a point by. Also it’s difficult to add points because of where the video starts, instead of the video starting at the edge of the screen it could be moved somewhere in the middle.

SlowFastSlow had long been my favorite for editing the speed of slow motion (high speed) and even normal speed videos where I’m looking to do custom adjustments and variations of speed. It was elegant in using curves to gracefully ramp up or down the speed of the video. Exactly what I wanted. However, while it can take in a 4K video, it exports only 1080P / HD video, at 30 FPS. I’d love to see SlowFastSlow updated to support higher resolutions, and a selection of FPS (24, 25, 30, 50, and 60).

SlowFastSlow has served me well for a long time, but with 4K being a popular resolution, I need to find a new app if this one won’t be updated.

So Since yesterday, Ive been trying to look for apps to slow down videos. And for almost all of them, You have to pay. And I think its not fair To pay $7 Just to slow down a video. And When i found SlowFastSlow. It just made it easier! It’s totally free! No in app purchases! Its very easy To edit! Its just exactly what I was looking for. Don’t waste your money on other apps just to slow down videos. Download SlowFastSlow! I very recommend if you want to make slow edits. Or just For fun!

ABSOLUTELY amazing app. 10/10. This doesn’t give you any ads, no problems, quality, any thing you could ask for. I have a idea that can improve SlowFastSlow. My idea that I’ve always wanted to see was a speed editor where you can select a place where you want the speed to go. For example, One Half of the screen is Slow While the other would be fast, or The Vibrating Hand move from Cw’s the Flash! This would make SlowFastSlow 1000 times better than it already is! Other than that, Outstanding app.

I tried half a dozen different apps to speed up some time lapse videos and this was the only one that worked flawlessly, without glitches, ransom or persistent ads. SPEED PRO seemed like a contender but being hit with 10 ads within 30 sec was a nightmare! Others couldn't import/export in ORIGINAL FORMAT which is crucial if you're working in iOS. I like their business model, which involved perusing thru other other apps they make briefly at launch. I can live with it as long as I know what to anticipate.

I must give SlowFastSlow five stars, I’ve tried downloading so many other apps for a slow motion effect, and all of them wanted me to purchase a subscription plan, or purchase some thing, and all I wanted to do was one simple thing: slow down a few videos. Your app is simple and easy to use, very effective, I haven’t had any issues with it so far, so I’d like to say it’s perfect. Thank you

I was looking for an app that would speed up my videos to fit in parameters of a social media app. Many other free apps require you to shoot the video in their app. This one allows you to upload from your camera roll and edit, then save the new version to your camera roll. It even saves video square uncropped. It took me literally 30 seconds to figure it out and edit my video. Easy to use.

I think this is a great app! If you could just put in the feature of being able to turn your phone off while it is exporting to videos. It takes very long and drains my battery when I’m making a long timelapse. If you could just change that, I would be happy to give SlowFastSlow a 5/5 star rating!

Hi! First off I would like to say that this is such an amazing app! Been slowing down scenes for my video edits and to edit audios I make for these edits! But recently I accidentally broke a bit on my screen and I can’t slide the speed to make it fast or slow at all! You probably don’t make updates anymore but it’d be great if you can make an update where people can use SlowFastSlow both vertically and horizontally

SlowFastSlow is OUTSTANDING.
I spent a whole hour downloading different slow motion apps, trying to figure out which one works best. I couldn’t even try most of them out because you have to purchase it to unlock certain features. I’m so happy I stumbled upon SlowFastSlow SlowFastSlow. It’s free, you don’t have to unlock any features, it’s very simple to use and I’m satisfied with the end results of my videos!

Other apps just don’t get it. You guys have made this so simple that the moment you jump on to it (brand new user) you don’t even hesitate to think how to use SlowFastSlow . It comes naturally because the developers actually took the time to make it user friendly. Thank you for such a great app! It also helped me edit a prank video where I scared the bajeezers out of my son 😂🤣😂🤣 Glorious Sunday! 😂🤣😂😂

This is by far the BEST free slow motion to fast motion app out there. The customization you get with being able to adjust specific, different parts of the video is really nice. It’s easy to use. Also, you can reverse your video if needed. A lot of great features for sure! The only annoying this is that SlowFastSlow now crashes on me whenever it goes to compress my videos. It didn’t do it originally but within recent uses, it now crashes every time it tries to compress and save the video. CREATOR, PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

I spent hours downloading and then subsequently deleting apps that were incredibly ad heavy and many that didn’t do anything unless you upgrade to the paid version. SO annoying. Create some value for me first, then ask me to upgrade. That’s what SlowFastSlow does and it’s a simple, user-friendly platform.

I went through at least 12 video speed editing apps before I found this one and none of them did what I wanted. SlowFastSlow hella so freakin simply slowed and sped up my video in all the places I wanted without crashing or having to splice up my videos. I didn't want stupid filters or "special effects", I just wanted to adjust my speed!! Definitely a keeper

Great utility, but needs an option to lock nodes in place. Dragging a different node too close to another will shift all your meticulous work to a different point in the timeline, making this a really frustrating experience for more complex scenes. Otherwise, it’s simple and to the point.

I have been looking for someway to speed up my videos and I couldn't find a decent app without paying!! And you can even reverse your videos! There isn't and limit to how many videos you can do(At least I don't think so). So far I haven't had any problems with SlowFastSlow. I am so impressed!!!! 😁😁😁

Love SlowFastSlow but if they could just add option to choose video from specific folders. Hard to find the one you want when you have thousands of videos and you’re looking for an older one. This option would make it a 5 star plus rating.

SlowFastSlow is extremely simple to use and effective at what it does—slow/fast video with easy ramp up/down functionality. The only thing I can think of to make it better would be to make the ramp up/down transitions smoother. Besides that it’s perfect.
