Ayah - Quran App Reviews

Ayah is absolutely amazing. Alhamdulillah. You are able to learn each this app of the quran and unlike many quran apps, this one allows you to loop certain ayahs, a whole surah, and etc. You can customize how you want to listen to the quran to help you understand better. It also has the translation to the the whole quran and a full page version of each page in the quran. Subhanallah! This is Ayah that I know most of you are looking for. Completely different compared to the other quran apps, even though they are all good in their own way. Please download Ayah. I highly recommend Ayah.

This was one of the best apps till the last what update. Ayah was known for its simplicity and that has been taken away from us in this update. I disliked the update in every way respectfully, from its zoomed in ayahs, translations and everything else. The ability to play verses used to be so simple as just to press the play button, but now h have to hold the verse and go thru four option screens before it starts playing. And even before it starts playing it is required to download the entire Surah which just takes too long and not worth the struggle in my opinion. In the previous update all u had to do was press play and the this app would play till the end of Surah which was perfect. The only good part of the update in my opinion was the reciters section, by categorizing them into Hifdh terms and adding new reciters such as the fast revision reciter yasser Salama. Please return back to the old update and just add the reciters part jzk.

Thank you brother for this great app. Everything is great except for one small issue regarding “Ibn Jozai’s tafsir”. There are explanations that must not be used, especially within the Quran itself like Ayah. Because not everyone who reads The Holy Quran is able to differentiate between “do and don’t”, or define all of its terms, and not everyone is fully aware of Sunnah. One of the issues regarding Sunnah exactly is in this verse:
﴿إِنّا أَرسَلنا عَلَيهِم ريحًا صَرصَرًا في يَومِ نَحسٍ مُستَمِرٍّ﴾ [القمر: ١٩]
﴿يوم نحس مستمر﴾ روي أنه كان يوم أربعاء حتى رأى بعضهم أن كل يوم أربعاء نحس وروي أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «قال آخر أربعاء من الشهر يوم نحس مستمر».
- تفسير ابن جزي
This Hadith is fabricated. It is an impudent lie attributed to our Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him). He would never say such thing. And this saying clearly contradicts what the Quran and his Sunnah teaches us not to do -Ornithomancy- which is polytheism.

One of the best, if not THE best quran app available. It has a slick and simple interface as well as full screen layout which makes max use of the screen. It also has two page reading mode when you tilt the phone sideways, and although the text is tiny it's still nice to have this feature.
Some suggestions for future versions:
- adding more recitations by known sheikhs
- adding a feature to track and show your reading progress (ie average verses read daily/ weekly / monthly). An app called Qameruddin had this very useful feature but unfortunately it's no updated anymore...

I’ve been using Ayah for more than three months now and I must say it helped me a lot. It’s really helpful especially for someone who’s practicing for القراءات العشر and the thing I liked in it the most (besides it’s Quran and it has really good features?) is the way there was the “Highlighted Related Verses” they were colorful, but in the latest update the colors are removed and there is only yellowish/brownish color. I hope 🤞🏼 you bring back those colors or maybe add some new and brighter ones !

This is really a 5 star app but it’s just missing 1 feature IMO. There should be an indicator at the bottom of each page (perhaps in the middle) that shows the number of the last verse on the page vs the total number of verses in the surah. For example, “v 47 of 286” then next page has “v 56 of 286” then “v 63 of 286” and so on (number just made up for the example).

Should be fairly simple to implement. So I hope to see it on a near future update.

Really great app that gets everything you want done. There is a search feature, book mark feature, and pretty much everything. I just which the page layout was identical to the normal Quran. By saying that I mean some Ayas don’t end exactly where they do on the normal Quran due to the font. It’s weird because the writing is the same, yet it come short or long sometimes.

Ayah has many useful features and is very easy to use. You can hear several recitations of any this app you choose. It has a search tool and makes finding Surahs very quick and easy. There is also tafseer for each this app. The text is very clear and easy to read. I barely write app reviews but I LOVE Ayah so much I felt the need to thank the developers. Would recommend it to all friends.

I would recommend Ayah because it is perfect for every day use and being able to read the Quran whenever and wherever. It also offers this app of the day and translation. It allows you to highlight and book mark where you last left off. It is super great! I would recommend to anyone wishing to learn the Quran, wanting to read or memorize in shaa Allah .

I love the simplicity of Ayah and yet that it has a lot of features to offer without complications. It is easy to use and straight forward. I love that you can set goals of daily verse reading, I love the option of having readers, I love the colored bookmarks option and also that it syncs with multiple apps.

Ayah is amazingly developed, it makes the user feel every word of the Holy Quran by reading and listening to its favorite Muqri’, the image and the sounds are very high quality, the organization of the verses with Ajza’ is extremely precise, and you have total control for the recitation record while memorizing its really helpful. This is the best Holy Quran app for the 21th century!

Allah bless you, this was app I was looking. It explains everything with perfect explanation. Plus there is no annoying adds like in other as they call it (Muslim apps with not acceptable adds). I am soo happy that there actually one app that provides perfect Quran and everything. Allah bless you. You make life for Muslims much easier.

This is without doubt the best app I found on Ayah store for quran it’s simplicity provides a seem less beautiful interface and the little details in every section is amazing like the art work provided from outside Ayah when Streaming I only wish we can download the rest of the readers though especially Al Shattiri

I have this situation when during ramadan I started from beginning of the quran, and bookmark as progresses, and after ramadan ends I will resume the the first bookmark. Hope you understand and implement this feature. ‎إن شاء الله‬

this app by far is the best Quran app you can download, Ayah includes so many great features that will help you read more Quran for example you can set a daily reminder to read, however, the developer is working hard on Ayah from adding new features to remove bugs. - Please add “repeat page N times” while playing ranges that extend more than one page like surat al baqarah, it’s very useful for memorizers.
- Would be great if you add “repeat surah N times”, for example I’m listening to juz 30 while repeating each surah N times.
- Also, would be nice if we have “repeat section N times”, so that we memorize more properly.
- Also, while “section highlighting” enabled, it would great to see it in “play to” section as well.
- Also would be great to have “playing speed” from 0.5 to 2.0 for every 0.1 value.

Ayah blew my mind. Ive been looking around for an app that’s beautifully designed and well thought out, yet simple to use. Ayah, exceeded my expectations and blew my mind. And considering the free price tag, I honestly dont even know what to say. Thank you. May Allah grant ya’ll Janat al Firdos.

Would you please add more bookmarks with dates. Like when i book mark it will show the books mark with date and date. Just 4 book marks are not enough. Please make it mote. Jazakum Allah Khairan. It is amazing app. I use all time. Book marks would be more beneficial. Thank you

Ayah lets you repeat ayahs and even keeps playing when you minimize the tab. Amazing for multitasking. Ayah lets you do Khamahs and even sends you at 7pm to recite. Amazing with all these options. There is even a bookmark!

As a mobile developer and designer, i pay a lot of attention to each and every app i use. And I can say that this app is definitely one of the best Apps out there! And I’m not only talking about Quran Apps. Thank you so much for crafting something as superior as this!

I am a user of Ayah for one year. Its very much good platform for readers. Hearty appreciate for your hard work. Ayah is concentrated on Arabic Tafsir, as a non Arab many people like me needs tafsir in other languages, at least in English language. Please try to add that feature soon as possible to get more perfection and make your effort much useful for more people.

Ayah developer is very artistic. I love how everything in Ayah is in the right place , and reading is very nice on the eyes.

I suggest the ability to be able to create an account if you have two devices and you read for example from home in your iPad and you want to read at work in your iPhone and you want to continue where you stopped at home to make things easier for the reader.

I think it’s amazing cuz it lets u revise it many times and it lets u now what ur reading and to me that really helps. Oh and I can keep on talking about how this is great but download it to know the other ability’s Ayah has

Ayah is offering distinguished functionality unseen by any other app and is being executed in an innovative way. You cannot do without for those who need to reference The Holy Book “Quran”.

I never actually write reviews, because I am so lazy. 😂 but Ayah I have been at the edge of seat since ages to write a review about. Remember back in 2014? I sent you an email to add the search functionality and you added it and many more features. All I can say after 4 years, Ayah is amaaaaazing. And you Abdallah Bajaber MashAllah Allah ye7fazak ya rab.
