Square Fit Photo Video Editor Reviews

I had a good opinion of SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor, I used it for resizing different things & it was functional. But today, I saw an ad with PORNOGRAPHY in it. What the heck? I’m a serious Christian. I’m extremely shocked & also concerned. What if a child sees this? What are you thinking with allowing this type of ad on your app?! It’s disgusting the way they completely ignored the fact that this ad was inappropriate. I would’ve screenshotted it but I don’t want that type of thing in my screenshots. I’m going to be very brief/concise & say that the ad showed a girl sitting on a bed with her (visible) underwear around her ankles. She reached down & between her legs, apparently masturbating. I feel disrespected by the fact that this footage was on my phone when I am very very careful about what I see or read or listen to etc. I don’t listen to certain music because of inappropriate words but, wow. This was something that I would have much preferred not to have seen. That was filthy. I’m going to uninstall & use some other app!! I’ve used plenty of resizing apps & only installed this one temporarily anyway. But you lost business. You’re not getting $ from me watching those ads. Bye!

It does not crop away any of the picture or video, it makes it fit into the square. You can add background patterns, colors, or presets such as a blurred version of the picture you are cropping (which is a personal favorite)using a tiled version of the picture, and one other which I can’t seem to remember right now. All free features. No money spent. You can add a black border and adjust the size, you have other adjustment features as well. Very happy with it. I get one pop up ad in the beginning that is just a picture I have to X out of, and that is it for my use of SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor . Can’t ask for much more than that. Literally no complaints as of right now!

Not only do I find SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor extremely useful and easy to use, but when I emailed the creator about seeing an offensive ad on SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor , they immediately replied with concern and took action in blocking those ads. Since the ads come through another party, they don’t have control over which ads are shown, but they really care in user experience and informed me that they were working with the third party to report those ads and blocking as many as they could find. I’ve never had such a quick and caring response from a company before. Great job!

This used to work but it doesn't anymore. I hate to downrate it because it was good but I'm leaving an extra star because of that. I hope they fix it.

Edit: It seems to be working a lot better now. This is the only truly free app there is in terms of service. The others are free to download, but not free to use. There's so many bait and switch developers who deceive you into thinking their product is useable in some way without paying for it but that's just flat out false. This has no strings attached and does what it needs. You will fit your entire imagine in that square now.

I do voiceovers and post my work to Instagram . I use iMovie to edit my videos and of course iMovie saves my work in widescreen 16:9 ratio aspect. So to include a thumbnail for my videos I have to reduce the video down to IG square 1:1 ratio aspect. And SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor is the ONLY app I’ve used where saving my videos from 16:9 to 1:1 doesn’t distort the audio or visual . It comes out HD just like the original . Thank you so much . My search has been frustrating becuase every app compresses the video so much it sounds muffled and the visual is a little fuzzy but SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor kept the definition and audio quality in tack . If I could give it 10 stars i would .

I use SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor for selling clothes online, easy to navigate & find tools quickly. Never crashed on me since I’ve had it-probably over a year. Free option is great-aka has ads-not saturated at all, ads play between each saved photo-no app water stamp. Can create almost all size ratios, edit photos w/ variety of choices, format is consistent. Side note:if ppl complain about too many ads in app then they don’t realize we couldn’t use any app for free unless their were apps. Great app-5 stars-highly recommend!

I used SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor to resize a tall video so I could post it to Instagram. It was FREE with no annoying watermark and it was super easy to use. I never write reviews but I had to for this one. Square Fit did exactly what I needed with NO hassle. Legit I tried like all the video resizing apps before this one, but I should have just downloaded this first. If you just want to resize a video with pinch controls and save it, this is SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor for you! I haven't tried any of the other features. Great work!

The program is good for quick image editing. With the monthly subscription, you get a couple more of it’s best features such as being able to use your own photos as background.

Unfortunately, the program took a hit with iOS 14. Before iOS 14, you could use your own downloaded fonts. Now, if you have iOS 14, that no longer is the case. I really miss that feature, and have fonts that I purchased just to use with Square Fit. I now have the fonts and no program to use them with.
Back to the drawing board for finding another simple image editing program for me :/

I wish there was a way we could set the background color to the same shade each time bc when I close out of SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor and edit another picture I have to set the color again but I’m not sure if it’s the same shade since it’s a slide and select color pallet. It would be more user friendly if this issue was fixed. I use SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor for free and the ads do not bother me. I love the 3 standard size option that’s provided so please don’t change that. I wish I could buy 1 pro thing individually and not as a bulk since $9.99 is a lot to spend on 1 app. Wish there was a sale soon! Lol

I use this amazing app for my business and take hundreds of pictures weekly. I would just use the regular camera app but my pictures need to be in a certain format . The latest update made it even harder to access the camera than it was already. I think a camera icon should come up next to video -photo -clear under the NEW tab. Amazing app but if SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor is not updated I’ll unfortunately have to find another app as time is crucial in my business and this extra step and having to click all the way on the top right just to activate the camera will set me back over time.

Square Fit is an excellent app, and well thought out. I use it regularly. One issue however that I’ve found that is a bit annoying if you choose to use something like a circular border... the border will leave a tiny 1px silhouette around the image even if you set the parameters to zero. Couldn’t seem to remedy the issue so stopped using that particular feature and looking to other apps for this task, however I would prefer to continue using Square Fit for this as I like its UI and options better.

Allows for cropping the actual photo when in SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor and sizing it for Instagram (others don’t), only a couple clicks to create the format (others require lots of steps), can edit many photos one right after another because SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor doesn’t bounce you out of editing after saving, doesn’t denigrate the color of the photos (others do). So far I’m really liking SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor.

My favorite editing app! Love that I can edit both photos and videos. Use the “Cut” feature constantly for all our Social Media posts. Makes adding company logo to everything a breeze! Too many features to mention, but being able to add a still photo to a video is great. I use SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor almost exclusively for creating our posts.

This is a nice app for people that don’t care about your photos being slightly compressed. Not sure if SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor ’s Premium have the option to not compress your photos. But there is a noticeable difference in quality between the original photo and the photos saved from SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor. I would definitely rate SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor a five star if my image isn’t getting compressed. But just keep in mind I’m using the no payment option. Overall a very decent free app for Instagram.

SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor is close to perfection, but I have some ideas... I was thinking that SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor supporting gifs from the camera roll would be fantastic. SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor also needs to improve in quality & HD... it leaves videos and pictures blurry after saving them.
And 1 more thing... it would be nice if we could have a really nice picture college on here that fits multiple pictures of different sizes. That would make this 1 of the greatest editing app in SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor Store.

I love SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor!! It is simple to use, and gives your content that amazing'POP' to stop the scroll. You will not be disappointed. Trust me. I do not give reviews unless the developers have gone the extra mile. And, in my humble opinion, these developers have gone far more than the extra mile, they have truly done an outstanding job!!

SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor does EXACTLY what it claims to do with several additional features. It frames non-square videos into a square frame. Perfect! I would like to give them $1 and keep watching ads so they make even more money because that’s how capitalism should work. You provide an awesome service, you make more money than if you don’t.

I got SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor just so I can fit my whole entire pictures and videos on Instagram or Facebook. With SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor, nothing gets cut off! It’s super easy to use, and I haven’t even gone through all the features. I just select what picture or video I want, and save it with a white background within 10 seconds!

We all know how annoying instagrams size defaults are, constantly distorting pictures and videos. Well, SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor is hands down the best FREE app to use to fix all of that. All of the apps I’ve tried that cost money have the same features and I truly appreciate SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor being free and allowing me to share my content as intended!

It’s one of the few that I’ve kept on my phone long term. I always get what I need when I’m done with no fuss, no bugs.

I would upgrade for more features or fewer adds, but I don’t buy subscriptions (they add up too quickly). Maybe consider an intermediate paid app, even if it wasn’t the full feature?

SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor is good for editing my vids and pics and plus no watermarks which makes it even better but what there should be is an undo button or return button Incase is delete something or make a mistake but overall it’s a really good app for editing! Keep up the good work

I would have given this a straight up five if I’d even reviewed this yesterday. But apparently on the last update it got rid of one of the features I use the most (setting image border) or at least changed it in such a way that it’s not as easy to find. So that is an unfortunate change that I hope is corrected soon.

Please update and bring back Age Tracker to SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor Store. It is outdated and removed from SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor store long time ago. There is no app provides similar features even when it is simple. I want to upgrade to iOS 11 and many apps that I'm currently using won't work or even install with iOS 11, Age Tracker in one of them. So please consider return it back to the store.

Easy to use! I used another app for a long tome and it had one too many steps to resize a photo. Love that you can take a pic directly through SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor and save it easily as well. I use this for taking portrait photos in square mode to easily upload for Poshmark. Highly recommended!!!!

I’ve had SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor for a long time with all my old phones and didn’t have any problem. I have a brand new iPhone 8 Plus and I’m allowed to edit the pictures, save them, but not directly upload it from SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor to Instagram itself. The icon button will darken when I press on it as if it’s going to open but never does, I can hold it down or press it multiple times and still nothing. Please help me fix this, it’s my favorite photo app. :(

It’s a great app! You can choose your own color for the background, and it’s really easy to go straight to a new photo for editing. SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor saves the photo automatically for me when I click done so I don’t have to click another option after to save it myself. :)

This is amazing! I love SquareFitPhotoVideoEditor, usually you don’t get insta templates anywhere else but this got it! I recommend this 99.9% the only thing I have a problem with is that you cannot make a collage😭. If you are looking for a collage app then you should get Effectshop. Super amazing app they both are so, yes I recommend. So? BEST THING EVER
