Only One is a fantastic game and one of my favorites of all time. I have known about it since I was a young lad, and recently, as a Senior in high school have renewed my love for it.

I love how the story is simple yet ambiguous, and little easter eggs like the cake and the Dark Knight with the same sword as you leave a lot for the player to imagine for themselves.

The difficulty is quite possibly the best part. Especially for those without ultimate power, the reward for reaching and beating wave 100 makes the hours of gameplay so worth it. (learning the intricacies of how the enemies work, using the daily sacrifice to wipe out an entire wave late game, etc.)

I have tried speed-running the game as a free to play player, and managed to beat it in 4 days time- playing 1-2 hours a day. In the future, I hope to get even better at it and possibly even stream or something haha.

The replay value is also not to be taken lightly. Purchasing ultimate power and running through the game over again, and seeing how far you can get in endless mode is also really fun.

If there was a couple things I would suggest, it would just be to add more of everything! I seriously think this is truly a great game that deserves a lot more attention.

this is literally the best game I've ever played on a apple product! The premium stuff isn't OP like other games when you pay for it. It's actually well balanced. For every purchased character bonus you get, you also get a negative effect. The ninja for example,(I own the ninja) has +10% movement speed and +20% attack speed, however, he gets -3 shields, so shields are basically useless to the ninja, but he is very fast. The ultimate power it totally worth every penny! This developer is a nice guy, he says thank you every time to buy something. A very touching moment when you support him.😘

I grew up in the 80’s/90’s and this game takes me right back to the glory days of gaming! Exciting midi music, old-school arcade style voice overs, tons of stages, multiple enemy types with their own abilities and weaknesses, a variety of cool special abilities that take time to earn and bosses with lots of hit points where you have to figure out their pattern in order to defeat them. You can and will die, but don’t worry, every 10th level is a checkpoint, so you can continue where you left off with all your loot and abilities, or replay levels for more loot!

PLUS, You can get everything you need to succeed in-game, WITHOUT spending any real $. Plus no ads!!!

Even though you play on a circular platform without any side scrolling, with very basic graphics, it’s still a very exciting, well thought out, fun game that requires strategy and timing to win.

A must have! Totally worth your time! High replay value! Get this game! It’s retro perfecto!!!!

If co-op breaks the lore make them the last one to have the sword but dead or you could make them a follower of the only one oh sorry for my last reveille I wanted too much at once you should problably make less pay to get abilities I hope you had a good time making such a great game I play on controller and It is smooth and most importantly cloud saves

The game is great, if you're looking at this to justify getting it then go ahead and get the game, just I've experienced this glitch that happens again and again where the joystick will stop working, you can pause and unpacked but you should probably just restart the game, the glitch will pretty much kill you anyways. Make sure you check when this comment was written because I'm betting the dev will fix this soon.

I’ve been playing Only One for a long time! I love the game and love its amount of replay-ability. This game honest still has a lot of potential. I wish the game would add a way could play as boss characters, and a spell caster mode with a new ability load outs.(different spells and what not.) But other than that. Still an amazing game!

First Look: A completely glitchy game with no spice.
Reality: That first look is a lie. It has a very good gameplay style and makes players want to have “just one more turn” and slice more of the oncoming horde.
Things to Tweak: All I have to say is that this game needs to have the ability to turn ALL blood-related things if desired for the younger gamers.
All in all, this game is AWESOME.

It’s a fun game but the movement speed is absurdly slow and it costs an arm and a leg to increase it. Some levels spawn tons of enemies you can’t outrun and just surrounds you but there is a area spin move you can do but of course it’s locked behind a paywall. Greed always corrupts a good game and unfortunately this game will never reach a full potential because of its paywall greed. Make it so you can earn EVERY optional ability for players that don’t want to pay.

I love this game to death when I first lay my eyes on it. It is fun to play, it’s good to kill time, and very challenging. No matter how many times I play this I’ve never get bored. Wished that maybe the developer can expand this game even further and make it more challenging and fun, that’s what I think, well either way I love this game and I’ll keep playing it!

-you are punished for using the main mechanic of the game, pushing enemies off the edge of the arena, because their drops fall too

-frustrating: your character is extremely slow with no mobility moves, and half of the monsters’ main behavior is to run away from you

-confusing menu UI with lots of buttons that aren’t intuitive

-boring gameplay mechanics: the entire gameplay is walk up to enemy, press attack button, maybe they block it maybe they don’t.

-terrible meta progression: extremely slow currency gain f2p, I quit before saving up 8.5k for the first non-tutorial upgrade that looked interesting

-ZERO imagination: bland player character, bland gameplay, bland abilities

-the bat boss (lvl 50?) finally made me delete the game. it’s impossible to tell where the bat hitboxes are since they are flying.

Amazing game. Good fun for short and long play sessions with good controls for a mobile game (can’t say this for many games)

First time I felt like supporting the devs through IAP rather than feeling like I had to. Most purchases make sense and aren’t ridiculously expensive. Try the game, and if you’re having fun, pick up Ultimate Power asap.

Hands down, this is the best mobile game I've ever played; however, I'm experiencing a glitch where the joystick just flat out won't work, no matter if it's in fixed or unfixed form. I've looked at other comments, and despite its rarity, I'm not the only one to have this issue. Once mended, this game will be flawless.

I would rate this a full star because this takes back to the classics and the music sounds vary Nostalgic to begin with! So I would say this is worth it! But what could be added is a new Chapter were their could be new Enemies and Bosses. Just an Idea if this game still gets updated.

At level 61 the controls stopped working properly and the sound and music no longer work. I tried reinstalling and the controls seem to work again, but still no sound. I also lost all my progress after the reinstall. :(

So a pop up comes along and says " rate only one"...so there you go. ONE STAR FOR YOU !!!

-In all honesty this a fine hidden gem of a game hidden in apples mostly useless App Store recommendations. Despite its biggest down fall ( the control pad disappears if your thumb can reach beyond the allowable area for a control pad as mentioned by at least one other reviewer) it's well worth your time to play this. FREE CAKE...FREE CAKE... GET YOUR FREE CAKE HERE!!!

BEST GAME EVER you don't need wifi and it's super addicting Super fun and it's for free

Only thing I would like is the other characters should be able to be unlocked except the last character witch you should have to buy but the other character you should pay with power at a certain lv BUT STILL AWESOME

Ok. So this game has been on my radar for a while and as soon as I picked it up I fell in love with the game and all of its unique features. I haven’t found any glitches mentioned in the comments (reviews) and if your looking for a good game with a simple but fun combat style, then this is worth looking into.

This is such a cool game, and it’s very reasonable as well. I didn’t get any in app purchases, but I think they’re good because they don’t seem too over powering.

Therefore, I can be a free player as I like.

I hope new game modes or skills are coming! Both free and ultimate in case I decide to buy it.

I love this game so much! I had played this game before in my old ipad an bought ultimate power. I remember there used to be a restore purchase button but now I can’t find it! Was it removed? I dont want to have to spend 3 more bucks again! Someone please answer if you know how to restore your purchases!

I remember this game from about 5 years ago when I got my first phone this was the first game I ever got on it. I’m extremely amazed that it still gets updated and I’m astounded by how much it’s changed since I played it
