I spent 130$ on Coverd because y’all promoted if you play you’ll win money back on your credit charges. So I assume that if you played these games enough you’ll win money back on the charges and that’s not the case. So I spent $130 assuming it’ll take a few days pay out on “fully covered” section once I played a game enough time with money. but I have to use this app cash to redeem it.

This is literally scamming people and not helping people on their finances at all. It’s another level of a casino.

I don’t get it we’re supposed to spend money to play games, so that we can make the money we spent previously and then there’s no telling if you’ll get it back so…pretty much if I waste 10 dollars trying to get 20 back I might end up loosing 30?? 🤔 and then I saw a comment that said they won 40 but was only able to get a dollar and some change back? Nah this time I would say ads would be kind of needed to at least make it more appealing to earn the “covered cash” to play the games.

Not a disgruntled customer, just objectively wrong what these guys have done. Raised VC capital to build an “personal finance” app that is literally just designed to make you gamble and lose money. This comes from someone also who has worked in finance and with a startup, and genuinely I hope the founders of this platform see this - shame on you. I hope you don’t laugh this off and genuinely should reconsider your actions - all this does is trick people into losing money, often the ones that need it, so you make more money and raise more from A16Z lol. Absurd how shamelessly you market this as helping people when you’re building algorithms to make them lose. My intuition says karma catches up

Coverd is a complete scam when it says win it back as an option on all of my bank account activity only to find out that all they’re doing is tracking your data. You don’t get any of that back. It says win it back though what are you getting back? You’re getting back nothing they’re just tracking your data while you pay them chasing and never ending goal. A forever moving goal post you want more people just tracking you go ahead.

Much like most of America this game only really cares about how much money they can get you to deposit into their game so they can continuously rob you of your money and make it feel like it was a happy accident. Every game is against a bot or an almost certain chance that you will lose if you want to earn more than 2$ per game. And even then you can be smart and cash out at 4$ and all of sudden every game you play you’ll lose automatically until you’re down to the currency you started at. I like trying out these types of apps but this one is by far the worst. Triumph is 10x better.

I “won” a purchase back in full and upon trying to cash out. They only allowed me to cash out 0.85 cents… it says that “each game you play will automatically convert 1-5% of your winnings into withdrawable cash. So I was like “ok, so it’ll just stack until I have no more credit cash and use credit first.” WRONG. Paid $5 to try to win some cash back. Now I’m just in the hole again by $5. I know it’s not a lot. But when the rules aren’t clear idk what to do. Wound up loosing all my “cash” I won. Uninstalled Coverd , and I won’t be back. Waste of time. Effort. And money.

The chicken crossing the road game has no rhyme or reason you can wait 15 minutes the second you bet high and make your first step instantly squished when you bet 1 the car stops before you if you jump the second a car comes even on slowest difficulty the car is at max speed and hits you and you have no control to jump more. The game is rigged to lose. Also what kind of Fintech app allows you to spend $100,000 USD in ONE TRANSACTION in their store for in game currency??? How are you helping people?? Money grabbers

Fun to use easy to navigate and tons of games to choose from, I was able to redeem but I’m still waiting on payment so will update when I receive it but overall highly recommend!

The only thing is it keeps saying that it can’t find my location and then I need to erase Coverd and DL it all over again. I did this like 5 times already. It’s not my phone or anything. I already set it to always allow Coverd to find my location. Also VPN is off.

So first and foremost, Coverd itself is pretty cool. A chance to win back some of the money that you would’ve spent anyways first night I actually won almost $300. I redeemed it on the weekend and Monday afternoon the funds hit my account I reached out to customer support to make sure everything was fine. They responded promptly and we’re willing to answer any questions I had highly recommend to check it out. Just make sure if you play games you play responsibly other than that I give Coverd five stars thanks again!

Well for starters, it’s fun & you actually are able to cash out your winnings. Customer service is extremely fast at responding, and very helpful. It’s an actual person responding, not just an automated email which I appreciate. Funds were available in my account the next day. & the games are actually games that I would play at the casino!
