Just like many others have already described in their reviews, I can sadly confirm: HairApp is a scam. They continue to withdraw money even though the subscription was cancelled in time — or in some cases, even if no subscription was ever activated at all.

There is no proper way to cancel through HairApp itself, and the cancellation via the Apple Store doesn’t stop the charges either. There is no real customer support or way to contact them directly, which makes this even more frustrating.

Do not download HairApp under any circumstances. It’s a total scam and they’re stealing money from users.

DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKE.
First app review ever - The free trial charged me $7.99, no way to cancel in Apple settings or within HairApp . This was an impulse download from a Snapchat ad - I’ve done that 1 other time and I knew better to look at the reviews first and didn’t think of it. Immediately called my bank to dispute the charge and got a new card issued, so I’ll now have to go and update over a dozen autopays. How do so many of these scams exist??? Pain in the…

Limited try before you buy. Tried the free hair styles three times and it didn’t work and was cut off. After that they want you to start your “free trial” so they can get your credit card information.

Don’t believe me than try and see so that you can learn the hard way. 🙄

I tried to cancel my subscription before the free trial ended and deleted HairApp , but it still attempted to charge my card. Now I can't cancel the subscription through HairApp since I deleted it, and the payment failed due to insufficient funds. The cancellation process doesn't seem to work properly.

Zero stars unfortunately. I downloaded HairApp simply wanting to see different hairstyles and colors on myself. This unfortunately is the worst kind of app, that only gives you one style to try unless you buy. I was on HairApp for less than a minute and 3 advertisements asking for around $10 popped up in that time. Obviously I deleted it.

I don’t know how they did it, but I still got charged $7.99 for a free trial that I canceled immediately after trying HairApp for a couple of minutes!!! I tried to dispute it with Apple, but my request was denied. 😒 I should have read the reviews before downloading HairApp. It seems like a lot of people had the same experience.

I’m not planning to write a bad review, but after 2 fail attempts getting a refund and an invalid email provided on their terms and conditions, I just think it’s needed to warn everyone about HairApp.

False advertising. It states: 1 week trial, then $X. A trial means FREE use for a certain period of time to see if you like to commit or keep using HairApp . No it’s not true. If you look at their terms, if you use more than one features, it will assume you want the service of HairApp and charge you for that 1 week.

You only have 2 days to resolve any issue with HairApp and maybe for a potential refund. Yes 2 days after the subscription….. and with an invalid email address :) Good luck guys!

Also if you are on the 1 week trial and don’t cancel soon enough, it will auto charge you 24hrs before your trial end for you 2nd week of subscription. Sneaky.

HairApp is horrible, don’t download, they offer free trial but they charge to to your credit card automatically and they don’t have any place where we can contact to ask for the reimbursement. I being try to find a way to contact then to cancel the subscription and no find a way this company y is a scam scam scammer please avoid to download

HairApp is a complete scam. It clearly advertised a one-week FREE trial, but the second I clicked, I was charged immediately. That is straight-up false advertising and feels like theft.

If you promise a free trial, then actually give people a free trial instead of tricking them into paying right away. I regret downloading HairApp and would strongly warn others to stay far away unless you want to be charged without consent.

Absolutely unacceptable.

HairApp only wants your money, every haircut, hair color, makeup, clothes, every little detail they want you to pay. I will never recommend HairApp at all for anyone who wants to use it. I just wanted to see what type of hair color will fit me but it seems if I don’t pay it will only give me brown and not the other colors. I REPEAT! HairApp IS A SCAM, DO NOT GET THIS IF YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY! And also the people who are probably giving them five stars got to be bots or AI or even people who just get paid to advertise this dumb app.

HairApp does work however the billing is a total scam. I’ve tried to cancel three times anytime I provide them with an invoice number. Digits of my credit card , transaction amount or email address they can never find anything. It keeps going around in a circle. I had to dispute these charges. I’ve even given them the credit card for the Apple Pay that they charge me every month and they’re still say they can’t find my account. What company cannot locate your account with the same invoice information that they sent to you do not purchase !!!!

Downloaded HairApp , thought it was supposed to be a free trial like MOST apps…. I barely used it cause I didn’t like it at all, canceled subscription same day I downloaded it and then deleted HairApp and still got charged! $7.99 for only a few minutes of trying it out is ridiculous

it seems i can’t send in cancellation request because your said email does not exist and there is no button at all about changing my subscription status. I want to cancel right away, this is not a request for refund but a rightful request to cancel further subscription. Please respond to this promptly as your service should definitely offer cancellation at ease. 

You don’t even get to use HairApp it keeps on asking you to buy premium and it’s just asking for money. I’m sure if you pay the amount it would be fine but you are gonna have to pay $10-$30 which personally I’m not up to pay, but you could.

Downloaded to try new hair styles and the program works well with blending the hair onto my image. BUT the two stars is that when you click the hairstyles, what it puts on you isn’t what is shown in the image. Or I was trying to give myself long hair with bangs but it wouldn’t let me add bangs to the long hair. Plus the trial isn’t free, it’s just a discount. I’d say if you’re willing to get results that don’t match the image you can see new hairstyles. It’s just random.

I installed to check and subscribed for the free 3 days to see the full feature. After 10 minutes, I decided it’s not for me and unsubscribed before I uninstalled. Apparently, they still charge even if you unsubscribed, I reported a refund and I was only given a prorated refund which was 40% of the full amount.

Can’t use without paying

HairApp won’t let you cancel and will keep charging you. It does not show up on the Apple subscriptions. You try to contact them on HairApp and it says mail complainer does not work on this device. Shame on HairApp Store to let this in HairApp Store.
