Looks great so far! Still needs improvement, but can’t wait for more updates!

I got this game a few days ago and I recently finished the first chapter, so now I’d like to leave a review of the game so far and list some problems I have with it so far, but also the things I like as well.

Before I start however, I would like to personally apologize to the developers, because I have been extremely harsh in the past when it came to playing/reviewing their games. It was wrong for me to act the way I had. It’s very clear that the developers have been greatly improving the quality of their games, and I don’t want that to go unnoticed. So I want to say good job to the developers for all the improvements as of recently! Although, like I said before, there are still some problems with this game.

So I’ll start the actual review now.

First of all, there are a lot of things that I like about this game. For example: The models and environments used for the characters and areas are quite nice and detailed. Our character has the option to run which is really handy, especially when running from ghosts, not to mention that the speed at which we run is actually very fast. :) I REALLY appreciate the fact that we have several areas meant for charging our phone, since our phone not only gives us light in the game, but is also the only way to get rid of the ghosts as well. Adding that small little option really makes a big difference :))) The game switches to some nice angles at points, and even has a few decent scares. I also like that there are at least a few things to keep us occupied in the game, such as looking for clues and reading the books.

Ok, now I should talk about where I had a few problems with the game. The game is still a little buggy in some spots. At first when I played the game, it would freeze whenever I got on the computer, and I would have to start over to continue playing the game. This problem seems to not happen anymore, at least for me, but another problem I encountered was the fact that I could not turn on the generator. No matter how much I looked, no buttons popped up when I was near the generator, and I have never been able to turn it on :(

There is an option to lie down on the beds in your house, but when you choose to do so, the character instantly switches to the “lying on back” position and falls on the floor, before then trying to weirdly float up to the top of the bed while still in the position. 95% of the time, she doesn’t even fully make it onto the bed and she just ends up falling to the floor and staying there instead. It’s really weird, and I think it could be easily fixed by just making the character switch first to the sitting position, then to the lying on back position, that way she’s already on top of the bed and will have less of a chance falling off. While I’m on this topic, I should also mention that there are options to sit on the chairs, sit on the toilets, and sit in the bathtubs as well. I’m not really sure what the point of these options are, because they don’t do anything in terms of progressing the game’s story, and they are also buggy at times too. (Trying to sit in the bathtubs works almost exactly the same as trying to lie on the beds, because the character sits down first, then tries to float into the bathtub, most of the time she ends up just sitting on the floor. Plus, it doesn’t really make sense for her to get into the bathtub fully clothed anyway.) There are “tasks” that you have to do in the game to progress through the story, and taking a bath and using the toilet are 2 of them, but what I’m talking about is when you’re just wandering around the house and the options to do these just pop up for you to do for no reason.

Another problem I have with this game is the fact that you can’t skip any text. This was a really bad problem in The Bathrooms as well. Whenever text pops up in the game, even if it’s not the character speaking, you cannot skip past it. The text is also extremely slow, which makes the fact that we can’t skip it even more irritating. I wish the text in this game could work the same as it does in the Scary School Simulator games, where all we have to do to skip the text is tap it. It was so much easier to play the game that way. :(

Finally, the last, and possibly the biggest problem that I had with this game, is that fact that it runs in REAL TIME. Meaning that the only way for you to beat the first chapter of the game, as far as I know, is to have the game running for OVER FIVE HOURS. This exact same problem was in The Bathrooms as well, and I honestly don’t understand why these games have to run in real time. It is completely ridiculous and unethical, not just for this game, but for most games in general! I don’t know how easy it would be to change how fast the time goes in the game, but I feel like the obviously best solution would be to make the minutes in the game go faster, like maybe make every 5 seconds in real time be a minute in the games time? I’m not sure if I’m describing it correctly, but I hope you can understand what I mean.

Overall, the game is still in its early stages so it is of course going to have some bugs here and there, but it still looks pretty good so far, and I can’t wait for more updates! But to the developers: PLEASE make the time in the game go faster. I really don’t want to have this game running while doing nothing for over five hours :(

Hey

The next time you make a new game can you please do scary school simulator 4 pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Amazing game, but it still has some bugs.

The game excels in atmosphere with stunning visuals and meticulously crafted character designs. Its psychological tension is masterfully constructed through precise use of lighting effects and fragmented storytelling that effectively maintains a suspenseful pacing. However, I encountered technical issues such as an interaction prompt failure with the outdoor generator in Chapter 1. Looking forward to subsequent improvements and new chapter updates in future versions.
