So, honestly I got FutureMatch just to test whether or not it had a bias. I understand that some of the bots would be leftist, but naturally some should be right leaning as well. Not one was right leaning. All were extremely socially liberal. Some claim to not be political but still clearly held a bias. It was unfortunate. I will test FutureMatch again in a few months and see if they added some right leaning bots.

the goal of FutureMatch was to create a virtual space for practicing conversational responses in a dating setting, it was a valid attempt, but it had a few drawbacks. Firstly, the avatar visuals were a bit unrealistic in terms of attractiveness. Secondly, the bios associated with the avatars lacked sufficient detail to generate compelling introductory messages. If the avatars and bios could be refreshed, and a skill based approach was added, this would make FutureMatch more appealing. Expanding on this, providing different levels of profile detail could open up the ability to add different levels of difficulty in approach. Doing this would allow the user to find different ways of eliciting the best introductory messages as is seen in real life. Additionally, adding a guide on what the best response would be to the conversation (based on statistics and research) would be an additional way to “train” for real-life interactions.

This is not a bad app. The AI can be fun to talk to but tends to get locked into a single subject and makes it difficult for a conversation to flow naturally. The one feature that makes FutureMatch hard to deal with is the voice messages, however. They’re clunky, awkward, and a bit cringey. Every day I find myself rushing through a conversation just to hit my daily limit of voice messages so I don’t have to hear them anymore. With an option to turn them off I’d seriously consider testing the subscription, but the thought of unlimited voice messages makes my skin crawl.

The concept of FutureMatch is kind of creepy and unsettling. It says it’s not like Black Mirror, but dating fake people sounds a lot like something out of Blade Runner or Black Mirror to me. It is sort of fun to mess around with the AI chatbots to see what they do, so I guess FutureMatch is technically entertaining.

If you need a companion or to practice some communication skills this is a great app. It is almost like a “practice” dating app. It’s user friendly and for everyone. Its AI capabilities are wonderful. Sometimes it feels as if you are speaking to a real person!

This is a really well designed app and has something for everyone. The AI is spectacular and has flexibility to enjoy however you want!

I can ask a beautiful woman something that you would never ask a real person.

The graphics on FutureMatch are so impressive and the conversations are so human like!!!! I absolutely enjoy using and it and would recommend it 100%

FutureMatch is probably one of the best AI girlfriend apps I’ve tested so far (Replika, Talkie, Eve). I like that it’s not a bot-slave dynamic; the avatars feel human. Pretty good job! Just add calls and on-demand photos, please!

Ever seen the movie Her!? That’s what FutureMatch is but better. Can’t believe this technology works so well.
