I signed up for this. I got to the "if you want to see your results, you have to sign up" page. So I figured sure, I'll pay the $15. I paid it. Still didn't get my results. Got more advertisements of "do you want to try this?" There was no indication of it being an add on, I was never shown a purchase screen, never asked to enter my payment info again. It looked like a typical click through ad to get to my account. Then I get two separate emails that I was charged $20. So $40 total. I STILL don't have an account set up or even see my original results because there is still more questions and at this point of being charged three times, I email them to advise I just want a refund and to cancel my account. They can see my sign up, charges and my email to cancel are within five minutes of each other. They're not cancelling my account like I asked so who knows if I'll get charged again and are refusing to refund the $40 because they claim it was a PDF. I wouldn't know, I STILL DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO AN ACCOUNT TO SEE THAT. Way more trouble than it's worth when I have no account, no refund, and refusal to remove my account.

What you get from Dressly is very generic and you could probably get better info. If you Google outfit ideas yourself. The outfit selections that are suggested to you don’t really fit the profile that you fill out with your preferences. Also, I have since seen other reviews where people state there are another $40 in up charges that are not clearly communicated. Like it asks you if you want to do your color analysis, but it doesn’t tell you that it’s $20 to do that. The way it’s set up, it appears that it’s part of the questions but it’s not and then there are some PDFs that I have yet to find that are also nonrefundable and I don’t even know where to locate them or what they are, yet I was charged $20.
Do not get Dressly and do not pay for this useless service.

I had no problem with Dressly in concept, it just wasn’t right for me at the moment; I truly just wanted to check it out. I completed the first day then canceled within the cancelation window (which you have to email to accomplish.) Not only did I get charged AFTER canceling, but when I requested a refund I was told I HAD to complete the 7-day trial of tasks (that don’t unlock until you complete each one day-by-day) and send them a screenshot. It’s totally unacceptable to hold users hostage like this. I’ll be stopping future payments with my bank (I don’t want to pay $50 for this!) and will be submitting a report to Apple for fraud.

Really disappointed. Only about 10% of the items they give you actually come in your size. Some of the items when you click to go to store are not the items shown. So basically any outfit shown you’d be lucky to purchase one piece from so what’s the point? Also they completely disregard what brands you want to look at, so not sure why that’s even a filter. They make you wait an entire week before giving you a capsule and then require you to read 4-6 articles a day to get the capsule. Customer service or support is nonexistent. Great concept but extremely poor execution. Really disappointed.

STAY AWAY!! I just looked at this what Dressly had to offer. I provided NO credit card information. You used my apple account to charge me for something I neither asked for nor wanted. I want a refund and a contact information number or email. I DO NOT WANT one of your bot meaningless apologies. I demand action for myself and all others upon whom you are preying. I will be reporting you to the AG of my state and apple will be receiving notification that your app should be removed. It’s WRONG to take advantage of people but seems to be more the norm these days. Moral codes and ethical values are a thing of the past. Shame on you for benefiting off the people you could actually be helping.

This is an absolute waste of time and money You can look for outfits like this on Pinterest for free. It never presented me with any kind of capsule wardrobe that was customized to me. When I got done with the four weeks of stupid task, the last task was to pick my own capsule wardrobe. I thought AI was going to pick it for me and then I could go purchase the pieces. That is not what happened. Also, the last two days of task were glitchy, and I could not finish them. So if you’re looking for a capsule wardrobe, do not look here. You would do much better on Pinterest. Now I have to worry about canceling this subscription, which from other reviews seems to be a task all in itself.

I’ve never been more disappointed in an app. The styling is atrocious, not sizing inclusive, and has no adaptability for climate. I’m in a 90 degree weather still in October and it’s all layering with sweaters and jackets. You say you want flat shoes and silver jewelry and it shows heels. You want casual work wear and everyday wear. Lets try some leopard print knee high 5 inch boots and pair them with some 3 inch hem shorts and a blazer. I kid you not. And to top it all off it’s a continuing subscription. You won’t be able to get a refund unless you go though and use Dressly for 7 days. But you have to close outfits you “like” to get though one day… so you’re supposed to lie?!? And support is then just telling you to use it for the 7 days and take a screen shot PROVING you did the 7 days of hellish outfits to get your refund. These outfits are embarrassing.

10/7 - the reply comment about how to contact support is ridiculous. I have tried to contact support 9 times with no resolution, hence the review.

Canned automated responses are what developers along with their “customer support” provide. Entirely unhelpful.

When I got Dressly I thought I was paying for a 4 week thing that’d give me a capsule wardrobe at the end. Nope. Apparently I was subscribing to a mediocre app for $50 a month?! And when the charge hit my account and I tried to get a refund, I had to go through the whole “7 day screenshot” process, and then after that they could only offer 50% back? Dressly itself might actually be semi useful if every outfit didn’t involve 100 layers and the AI color function was remotely correct. I was a-ok with paying $15 for the intro month, but $50 a month for what you get is insane in the first place, and it is not remotely clear that you’re even subscribing to something, or at least it wasn’t to me and I’m usually pretty sharp about shady “subscriptions”

The concept of Dressly is great! I was more than willing to pay the monthly cost to get high end fashion outfit ideas and links to where I could buy them!
HOWEVER, immediately after signing up, Dressly stated asking a bunch of questions as they do during profile setup. Next thing I know I was billed an extra $40 for AI Color Scanner and PDF Capsule 4-in-1. Neither of these were noted as additional charges and appear to be part of the profile setup. In addition, I have no idea what the PDF Capsule option is. I’ve had to enter a ticket with the company for a refund in which case they are stating it cannot be refunded even though they were unauthorized. While Dressly itself is a great concept, save yourself the headache and fraudulent charges and use something else!!

Dressly is an absolute waste of time and money. There is no way to cancel your subscription in Dressly —no matter how long you search. I spent over two hours going through outfit “recommendations” that looked nothing like my style—most were outdated and unwearable. Out of more than 200 options, I found maybe five that were even remotely acceptable.

After wasting hours, I gave up out of frustration and planned to try again later. I completely forgot about it—until I saw the automatic renewal charge 30 days later. When I reached out to cancel, I was told I had to “use Dressly for seven days” to qualify for a refund. Seriously? Who wants to waste seven more days on an app that doesn’t work in the first place?

To make things worse, the advertised AI personalization feature—the main reason I downloaded it—was never even available. It just sat there saying “pending.”

This company’s refund and cancellation policies are misleading and unethical. There’s zero transparency, no customer-friendly design, and no accountability.

Save yourself the frustration. Don’t download Dressly. Don’t waste your time, your money, or your patience.

Perhaps it’s my bad for not clearly understanding what this was, but it was a very time sucking and confusing experience. It requires a lot of time to bond with Dressly. Have to read daily articles and choose looks. Well…sorry I need a capsule wardrobe for a reason. I don’t have interest in fashion or time to bond with an AI. I didn’t like the looks that appeared to be the same pieces rearranged but not cute. Didn’t seem to go together. I tried to cancel but couldn’t find how. Couldn’t do it in the Apple subscriptions. I got an email replied to cancel with no response. Forgot the. Later found weekly charges. Finally found link to cancel and guess what…it’s an email. Asked for a refund, they said you have to show proof of interaction with Dressly for 7 days. I said I did want to interact for 7 days. Not for me. Outcome: no refund. No clothes. No happiness. Weeks of payments donated to this app. Don’t do it unless you’re committed to a time commitment. I am not.

I don’t even remember subscribing to this. When I realized it’s been deducted from my bank account, you can’t cancel without emailing them. Then they’ll act like they can’t find the account or what payment it’s connected to. It’s been over 10 days since I received the first email response and it is still NOT cancelled with the literal screen shot of my “membership” information including ID and “subscription.” It’s ironic how it’s “AI” but they can’t automate cancellation. On top of that, the site is generic and not personalized at all. You can google woman outfits and you will get the same options as these images.

Dressly is hard to use because the select X number of outfits is not accurate. I probably selected 20+ and then I can’t move past a certain day because it still wants me to like 5+ outfits. It gets stuck, then there’s no way to move forward.

Additionally, what I was really looking for was the platform to suggest capsule PDF of outfits with suggestions of outfit combinations each day. It is still unclear to me when exactly that happens? On day 28 of the 28 day plan? I can’t tell when or why I have to wait that long to get that plan.

The AI styling tool was unclear when I accidentally paid for the $20 add-on unsuspectingly. The AI tool in the bottom row of my app is also ambiguous, every time I click on it, it says that it’s a feature I will be able to use soon? When is soon?

I paid the lifetime fee because I like the idea of Dressly and hope that updates will make this more user friendly but overall this has been really disappointing from what I thought I would be getting. Not to mention the pages and pages of content that seem to be in the way of just exploring capsule sets that never seem to come.

I’m not sold on this yet. Not at all. I am short & plus sized and have run into a few issues. I really want to like it. 1) A good number of the items recommended for me are not available in my size. Dressly knows my size. 2) Per their website, Mango is not currently shipping to the US so those recommended clothing items are not helpful. 3) The AI try it on option would be great but no matter what photo of me I give it, the resulting photo gives a result that half my body size. In addition, Dressly identifies me as a soft summer but almost every outfit any in that color palette.

Love Dressly as far as teaching me about capsule wardrobe and styling myself. I also love the inspo outfits that you can save and virtually try on. Try on needs a lot of tuning. Many times, it will still have parts of the outfit in the photo I upload resulting in multiple handbags for example. It also tends to show all pants too short on a model that’s a lot taller than me - even when my face is in the photo.
Additionally, saving outfits is nice but would be great to be able to
Filter by brand, season and item so I can shop for the items. Seems there could be value for Dressly creator from
the brands that may make Dressly cheaper for users.

I downloaded from an ad on Facebook because it advertised Al the creation of a 10 piece capsule wardrobe. I completed all 4 weeks and 106 steps involved. Instead of a capsule wardrobe being created I have 124 outfits I loved in the process and no idea how to build a capsule for the season off that. I did learn a few things in the small articles but the capsule is a lie and deceptive practice. Would be interested to see what a lawyer would think of the false advertisement practices. Also in 4 weeks the AI stylist is still “pending”. Seriously, I completed all the steps and have not gotten nearly anything as promised in advertisements

Edit: The more I use Dressly the more I hate it. I received my first capsule on Day 8. Nothing offered was in my size. Everything is out of stock. And they recommended clothing that I would never wear.

I’m a 22 Plus Tall and my wait is my widest feature. So far the lessons have all talked about the waist being my narrowest feature. The Try On feature grabs the wrong jackets. And most of the clothes are not available on my size or out of my size. But other than that, I am enjoying the lessons. I don’t know anything about how to dress to accentuate my features and how to look my best. I’m learning what to look for and what to stay away from. I’m learning that most of my wardrobe is NOT making me look my best.

I was so excited to see how Dressly would work for me and I am very disappointed. I spent so much time answering questions and exploring the exercises, but the choices presented are 50% plus sized (I’m a size 8) and despite the fact that I chose the stores I prefer, most of the selections are from SHEIN, and I don’t like shopping with them. Also everything looks like it’s for people in really cold weather - all the time! Yeah there are tank tops paired with jackets, but that is overkill now. Being shown outfits that are built with clothes only available in certain countries? That makes no sense. There are great articles to understand how to dress my type, but then my suggestions do not reflect those styles. I have a short torso and long legs and the guidelines are clear; then it’s not clear what styles match FOR ME in the gallery. It’s just a lot of extra work and I feel more lost about my style than I did when I started. There’s no chat feature either.

Wished I had a better photo but I did choose the closer shape I’m at now, changes as I change weight from round to X but it’s great to see potentially a style I like and see how likely will look and decide if that look is what I’m going for. I’m still going to wear somethings because I feel pretty or good in them no matter what but making better choices to improve my work and goal of some classic elegance intent.

I thought I was going to get get feedback on restyling my wardrobe. I was pretty excited.

What I got so far was to look at a lot of useless ideas because I live in Southern California and don’t need a jacket for every occasion. Then to do the color match I paid $20 to have it tell me I’m a light spring with high contrast. I repeated the picture several times and got the same answer. I am the opposite of high contrast - blonde hair blue eyes pale skin

When I asked to cancel -because if they can’t get the color match right and no idea of my functional needs-this is useless- I’m told I have to complete 7 days and send a screenshot of that (you can’t speed up to get to day 7) and even though it’s wrong I can’t get a refund on the AI tell me your color part.
