I downloaded SeaShellIdentifier in the hopes of being able to identify a large variety of shells that I have. I was mindful of all the guidelines when taking photos. The scan part of SeaShellIdentifier well at all. I did find it helpful to take a photo and then use the photo but still that’s an extra step that I didn’t plan on using. Accuracy is not on point as I found myself having to search the Internet to compare and found many discrepancies. Very disappointed I wish there was a way to get my money back since I only used it a few times.
When I first got this is was working but then after 1 hour it was saying that I had to buy it again even if I just did.
This would have been a great app if it said the correct name for the shells. I just bought this about 30 minutes ago so I want a refund. I will dispute this charge.
SeaShellIdentifier takes blurry photos and is wrong most of the time. ChatGPT does a better job.

Scanned one shell 4x, different answer each time. Scanned a Pacific Ocean cockle clam shell, was told it was Atlantic Ocean scallop.
