Love the concept but HeartspringJournal doesn’t work for me. It doesn’t save any of my recordings and takes me to the settings every time I try to save.

Dude. I’ve re-recorded me talking about the same stuff FIVE times in the past hour. It just stops working halfway through me talking and freezes the recording portion, loosing everything I’ve said. Really disappointing.

So I recorded my entry and I clicked finish etc. But it didn’t save. I keep trying to make it save but it doesn’t. When I click on “give us feedback” or “help” it exits me out of HeartspringJournal . Is it just me? I really love the concept and I would really want HeartspringJournal to be my video journal so please if I’m doing something wrong please correct me.

I really think this has a lot of potential, and I have been using it almost everyday day since I got it but there’s some stuff that REALLY irritates me about HeartspringJournal. My main issue is how often HeartspringJournal crashes, which means I lose the ENTIRE VIDEO and sometimes have to basically do another “take” of my entry because it disappears randomly when HeartspringJournal crashes. The other problem is how even when I am talking the video will end itself because it thinks I went silent?? Which would be okay and maybe I could get over that if it didn’t always scrape the whole video prior in the process. I also don’t like how it cuts the video around, I get it to an extent so that there’s not empty space in between thoughts, but this feature doesn’t work that well and it fully cuts out full sentences. I know I talked a lot about things that I don’t like, but I think this could be a really great app if these bugs weren’t an issue everyday.

i haven’t used HeartspringJournal yet but I am super excited to. I just wish they had a feature that didn’t include using only face ID or touch ID since I dont have/use either. I use strictly my passcode to log in to my phone so I hope it’s a feature that will be added in since I as super excited to use HeartspringJournal 🥹

Glad I found HeartspringJournal cause I know voice memos is SICK of me. Only flaw is how it cuts the silence. It gets annoying when it cuts the end of my sentence.

I saw HeartspringJournal on an ad for tiktok and thought it would be perfect to download. For me as someone that doesn’t always have a lot of people to talk to i feel as if this will help me debrief and talk about anything i want without the feeling of being judged or having my business shared. HeartspringJournal is amazing because there’s no ads and you are able to use HeartspringJournal without paying any fees. There is an option to get a membership (super cheap btw!) that unlocks special features but i love that even if you don’t pay for the membership you can still do everything that was originally advertised. Overall i love the idea of HeartspringJournal and definitely will be using it everyday!
