Don't buy it, they take money from your account without permission. They don't return the money. They ask for authorization to try it and at the end of the week they take $95.95 from you. They are disgusting.

I got a question asking me what to do from the LJ position for an open raise with Q9 suited. The chart clearly says to raise. But when I selected raise it said it was the wrong answer and fold was the correct one. Regardless of what the right answer is the charts should match the questions.

Really???

When I first got this out, I really loved it! But after further use a few things are happening and I’m putting them here under a one star review and hopes that the devs we’ll see them as the ability to submit feedback and report box in app feature is broken.

1. The first issue is that the daily trainer seems to regress or reset automatically and only present card scenarios where it’s either raise or fold. I have had to continually recalibrate my trainer to ensure that I get a mix of scenarios, including facing open raises.

2. Second issue is the ability to submit in app bugs and in app feedback is broken.

3. Third issue is AI explanations not working.

Again, this is a one star review only for the sake that I wish the devs to see this and add fixes to the roadmap.

Once I see a reply, I’ll update back to Fivestars. GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI helped me win my very first tournament.

Downloaded GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI for training and while I like GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI itself and appreciate the training and quizzes, I think the available settings and training could be improved, especially for the price of the subscription.

For example, the endless trainer has many situations with small stack sizes < 30BB which GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI does not have any charts for. A lot of these situations I’m supposed to be going all in on yet I don’t have a chart to reference.

I think additional trainer settings for smaller stack sizes as well as 4 bet situations would really improve the value of GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI.

UPDATE: So may bugs and incorrect feedback. Charts don’t match the daily trainer or the endless trainer. Needs a lot more QA and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Glad I only bought a 1 month subscription ($20, no trial) but wish I could have it back.

As someone who has been studying poker diligently for about 2 years now, GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI is mediocre (at best). The daily quizzes shuffle between tournament and cash, which both have varying RFI's and 3-bet charts. When in the quiz, and this is the frustrating part, it doesn't state whether or not the scenario is cash or tournament. The AI explanation tool has not been working for me either. Overall, if you're interested in studying poker, you're better off investing in a higher quality GTO service.

Would like to try before I buy. Could be good, could be worthless.

You basically have to pay for everything

There is a lot I like about GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI but unfortunately issues with trainer accuracy mean I’ll have to discontinue use. When using the trainer feature, answers are often different from what is reflected in the respective GTO chart. Sort of defeats the point of the trainer if I have to double check the answers on the chart every time. Hopefully developers can remedy, would like to use GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI.

Hello! I’ve been using this trainer service since it was brought to Bink, way before GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI was made and have been using it to hone in on my preflop ranges. Preflop trainer has some pros, such as daily training with study, all preflop ranges from deep stack cash games to 5bbs 8max tournaments, randomized spots to train with, and for the most part this is a very solid app. Good UI, many different preflop scenarios in training and ultimately GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI has given me more insight to my preflop mistakes and has genuinely improved my overall poker win rate. In terms of needed change: firstly for a 100$ a year app GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI lacks any sort of filtering. One of the largest mistakes in my game is three bet pots and to study souly these scenarios I would have to go through each position at the table and study them individually. I would love to see a way to only study specific areas of the game, such as three bet pots in all table positions or RFI with 10bb’s in tournaments. For the price of GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI I think it could still do with some improvements. However, if you’re looking for something that will give you a broad idea where you’re losing EV preflop this is an amazing tool.

Maybe good practice for skilled and seasoned players that know poker terms and lingo. Not great at explaining the terms or why it is good to raise, fold, or call. Wish it had more explanations for why you would need to raise or fold in certain positions pertaining to the players and what utg and everything else means.

Thanks to the developers for responding to my issue with the timer being too fast and not adjustable. It is more reasonable now. I really want to give this 5 stars. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the setting up phase doesn’t seem to have any impact on the drills. I selected raise size as my only issue. None of the drills had anything to do with raise size. I changed my issue to only 3 bets. And the drills were the same. I changed my issue to only open raise. And the drills were the same. It seems that no matter what you select as issues you want to work on, you get the same drills. None of them have raise size at all by the way.

A couple things I wanted to mention here in hopes the devs read these suggestions.

I’ve noticed the “Crazy Mode” doesn’t really specify if you’re supposed to be making tournament range decisions or cash game range decisions. I did like how the older version of GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI specified between the two crazy modes.

I’m not a super fan of the timer the crazy mode gives you, although I understand why it’s there (because anyone could look at a solver and enter right choice, racking up their leaderboard score)
I reckon if this feature had an option to include or not include the timer so that if you choose not to use the timer, the scores won’t count towards the leaderboards. This would be a nice adjustment for those of us who tank on harder spots and just want to practice without the stress of making the choice fast enough.

GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI is called ‘preflop’ wizard and use to be free. If postflops quizes was a feature included in the crazy mode, I would feel a lot more justified paying for GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI subscription because the other solver apps that require subscriptions do include post-flop solutions.

Crazy mode display is bright white with no option for dark mode or at least a darker colored interface. Visually, it looked better and was easier on they eye balls in the previous app version with the darker interface.

The tracker aspect of the older app version was awesome, Im saddened that they separated this feature out and left it in the old app. This feature should be brought back into this current app version and the old app terminated. If you’re going to make people pay for it now, might as well include all of the features it had before.

Otherwise, very neat app for people looking to improve on their game conveniently. I hope the devs read this and consider some of these suggestions.

haven’t picked up a single other preflop trainer since I got this. totally worth it.

I used to come in last all the time. Now, all I do is win with Preflop Wizard in my pocket!

Really helping me learn poker. Im already seeing the impact at the tables and feel like i actually know what to do before the flop now :)

I never thought poker training could be this engaging. GTOPreflopWizardPokerAI breaks down complex concepts into manageable chunks, and the daily reminders keep me on track. My game has never been this strong, and it’s showing at the tables.😎

Was skeptical and bought the monthly subscription to try it out and was surprised at how good the quality of the training was. Definitely going to be buying the yearly subscription.
