I hate giving Truthly only 3 stars but it needs serious technical improvement. For months I used Truthly almost daily to look up answers to questions and was extremely satisfied with it. Then about 2 weeks ago, it simply stopped working. Not a single question I’ve typed out is successfully submitted. I’ve tried signing out/signing back in several times, as well as uninstalling/reinstalling yet nothing has fixed it. Developers, PLEASE address this issue! I want favorite app back.

I really like Truthly and it’s been super helpful, but I frequently get an internet connection error even though nothing is wrong with my internet. The same bug occurs periodically in other AI apps; the bigger issue is that there’s no “try again” button, so when it happens in the middle of a conversation I have no way to continue and have to start over. For a paid service this is a bit annoying. Works great overall though.

I know that this is AI, but the creators have done something that has helped me feel more confident in my faith. I grew up Catholic, but that was it. That is all I knew. I never left, but I wasn’t practicing in my adult life until several months ago. Something came over my Husband and I to pursue our faith. I can only image it was the Holy Spirit. Today I asked for guidance on how to ask Mary for help, to be a good mother to my children. The answers that were given were so fulfilling. It gave me peace that I didn’t have to be perfect. I have never teared up reading an answer from an AI app before. I write this review to say that this is a wonderful tool to help you get answers to questions in a way you understand and in a way to help you begin your journey to diving deeper into the Catholic faith.

I have a lot of questions in my mind regarding Faith, church teachings, faith in practice etc … and if I read a book or asked someone often didn’t really answer the question. this app is awesome, answering questions straight to the point through reason, scripture and church fathers teaching. I like the question given after explanation, it’s make me contemplate deeper the subjects I have asked. Good job this app 👍😍, you make my faith grow deeper and my knowledge expanded and my actions become sincere. I love it !

I used to have to think about where to source answers. The Bible, The Catechism, Catholic Answers, Wikipedia, google, chat, etc. Now, the entire world of knowledge as it pertains to our faith plus all the history of the world and more are in one place and I only use Truthly now. Absolute game changer. Instant answers with all the biblical and historical backup. I am so grateful! The best tool and app on my phone.

Idek where to begin! I’ve grown up Catholic and went to Catholic school and even pursued mission work for a good chunk of my life. On paper, I SHOULD be well-versed in the Catholic faith. The reality is, I’m not 😅 I don’t put any blame on my vocation as a husband and father, but man…sometimes, it’s hard to balance faith and fatherhood. Since I was introduced to this app, I feel like I’ve not only brushed up on matters of the faith, but grown in my faith as well! I really do believe that Truthly will do wonders for the growth of the Church!

With the chat feature, you can ask ANY question you might have about Christianity, other religions, or the world! You receive references from the Bible, the Catechism, and important historical figures, so you know you’re getting a good answer.
The other functions of Truthly are so great for learning more about the faith. The lessons are interesting and easy to understand! Daily reflections are so helpful for building a routine of putting God first.

I heard about this on Pints with Aquinas and finally decided to give it a go as someone thinking about Catholicism very seriously and I expected this to be good but was surprised at HOW good it was. Indeed, it is EXCELLENT! Genuinely helpful and what AI *should* be without crossing some of the murky waters of where AI has gone wrong in other spheres. Thank YOU! I feel helped in my own journey and better equipped with some ideas of where to go to help others in my life too!

I absolutely love the this app app! It’s an amazing study resource that’s perfect for diving deep into any topic. It’s super user-friendly and even fantastic for reviewing philosophy in theology. I’ve been using it to explore Thomas Aquinas’ Summa Theologiae, and it’s been incredibly helpful—this app gives me detailed, specific explanations and breaks down complex concepts in a way that’s easy to understand. Whether you need a quick answer or an in-depth explanation, Truthly delivers! Highly recommend it for students.

Easy to understand and easy to use. From simple questions about every day encounters, wanting to understand the Church Fathers better on a specific topic, to diving deeper on the theology behind the things laid on our hearts during meditations. Truthly has been an absolute wonderful tool I’ve used more and more in my spiritual life. I appreciate that the AI does not solely provide answers, but pushes for further thought as well as suggesting action within my church or community.

LOVING Truthy. Beautifully designed and informative app. It’s been super simple to navigate & integrate the Catholic teachings that I specifically search for (out of interest) into my daily routine. Truthly provides me with a daily reflection that serves as a thoughtful reminder of the core principles and values of the Catholic faith. Very user-friendly interface (which I need), makes it easy to engage with the daily reflections without any distractions.

I’ve been more and more impressed with the reflections, they are well-written and thought-provoking, offering insights & guidance on how to apply Catholic teachings to everyday life.

I personally need a challenge, otherwise I get into a prayer routine that becomes repetitive. On this line I particularly appreciate how Truthly encourages me to take a few moments each day to reflect on my faith and spiritual journey.

Whether you are a devout Catholic looking to deepen your relationship with God or someone seeking to learn more about the Catholic faith & Christianity-Truthy serves as a guiding light for those (me) seeking spiritual growth and a deeper connection to their faith.

As a Catholic convert from a Charismatic Christian Church, I’ve had a lot of questions throughout my journey to “Rome”. this app has been a remarkable useful tool to aid in my research and has absolutely helped dismantle many arguments against Catholicism being the true Church before they’ve had a chance to fester in my mind. The second I have a question I can come straight to this app and gather the Catholic viewpoint on any given subject. This paired with the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible from Ignatius Press have been highly valued daily resources in my life.

I have been using this app for a few months and have enjoyed it, but with this latest update it has taken it to the next level. My favorite update is the daily readings that are within Truthly and the summary this app gives you. Being able to get the summary and interact with it by asking questions has been super helpful as someone coming into the Catholic faith from Protestantism. Will for sure be recommending this to even more people with these newest additions!

I thoroughly enjoyed the free trial and sent an email inquiring about the possibility of obtaining free access. To my delight, they graciously offered me a year of free access! This AI system is incredibly informative and helpful. While most AI systems, particularly those focused on Catholic teachings and writings, tend to be limited in their responses, this app A.I. stands out by providing practical and valuable advice on theological and even marital matters. I’m certain it offers much more, but based on my limited usage, it has consistently delivered just the right guidance.

This will tend to do the same thing ChatGPT will do and make-up quotes and citations from sources that, when pressed upon it, admit they were wrong to use those quotes from these particular citations because they’re not actually there.

This doesn’t occur all the time, per se, but, often enough that it can’t be relied on without verifying. A standard long-forgotten by most, however, the fact that it will make things up is concerning for those who *will* put themselves in a bad situation because of it.

I rarely review apps, especially informational apps. But this app is exactly what I’ve needed the entire time I have been a Catholic, it’s a shame that I’ve just recently downloaded it. Before I got Truthly, I would have to sift through Google and all of its influences just to ask a simple Catholic question. this app has everything, from information on Niche Saints to prayers and Novenas etc. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the small monthly fee to have all of this information in your back pocket, it is. I am very excited for this new app! There are many good apps out there, but I’ve never seen one quite like this. It is a way to get solid, orthodox Catholic material at the click of a few buttons!

I’m going to soon be a Catholic middle school theology teacher, and I’m looking forward to having this helpful tool in my tool belt! It will be a quick way for me to answer questions and prepare for classes when I don’t have time for extensive research.

I have only used Truthly for 10 minutes and am already loving it! AI at the service of Catholics! History, Tradition and Apologetics at your fingertips!
Those of us whom have used AI before are used to multiple (alternative and often mutually-contrarian) answers on a single topic. That doesn’t happen with this app. Answers are concrete and you can get as much supporting information as you want or need.
All of us have gaps in our knowledge of Scripture, Tradition and Liturgy, so this is a great tool to obtain a deeper understanding of our faith.
Thank you for developing Truthly! I can’t recommend it enough; it’s a keeper!

I was not terribly impressed by the first version I used but had specific items I enjoyed. Since the update I appreciate now accessing the beta version of today as readings with the interactive study sections. Further the daily random scripture, the daily reflection and a few other items have been one a part of my morning routine. I appreciate that Truthly incorporates many of the prayers and activities of my day which I previously sought from several different sources and thus leaving me to omit items often.

I also use to ai component but I don’t often.

this app is a wonderful resource for anyone interested in a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith. I love the lessons especially the auditory option as that is my main learning method and it lends itself well to on the go situations or any time life gets busy or hectic I can still connect with the spiritual lesson for the day. The depth of knowledge available on Truthly is awesome, in addition to the accessibility. I’m so glad there’s a resource like this available!
