Do not recommend

I love the idea of BerryStreetNutritionTherapy but the dieticians were really horrible. It took weeks to get an appt and during the first session, she was begin constantly interrupted by kids coming in and out of the room which is a huge privacy concern when I'm being drilled about my personal health history and made me extremely uncomfortable. After talking to support, they switched me to another dietician which by the time I saw her, it's been about 6 weeks. She said that my issues aren't diet. Umm so you can't fix pre-diabetes with diet? She had a snarky attitude and gave me some generic info that I could've googled online. I don't think it's much to ask for meal plans and help with diet. Isn't that their job? Complete waste of time. Felt like they were super lazy and not interested in helping.

Don’t do it.

Save your money and live better! If I could give them no stars I would, because they literally just took $200 off from me and it was unfair. I honestly cannot tell you that I had my hopes up 🙂 but they gaslighted me. I would understand its Doctors but not even my primary doctor charges me this much.

Disappointing

BerryStreetNutritionTherapy seems rushed and has the features, but lacks the functionality. Notably, chat messages take ages to update and the notification of a new message remains for ages after I’ve already read it. Additionally, the journal feature jumbles the order of comments. I would not be surprised if the server for BerryStreetNutritionTherapy is hosted on a raspberry pi, as it is that slow. Hopefully leadership decides to put some more effort into their app!

App is useless

BerryStreetNutritionTherapy has little to no functionality except to enter a picture. With a small space below to correct or add. But there’s no ability to edit and entry or change the day of the week. Or correct any mistakes that get uploaded

Easy functionality but limited

Have been using their service for a short while and it’s been easy to navigate and use, however, their AI meal plan generator lacks functionality that makes it useful. A meal plan can’t be exported in any way, aside from screen shots, and it doesn’t build a shopping list. You’re forced to go through each recipe or food item and write down everything and build it yourself. This makes it little better than buying a cookbook that caters toward your desired macros.

It’s ok

told to download BerryStreetNutritionTherapy by my dietician. Was told I’d be able to track things like water intake. BerryStreetNutritionTherapy only tracks food and symptoms. When trying to change times and dates for the food journal, everything is blanked out and I have to scroll without seeing and hope I click the right date or time. BerryStreetNutritionTherapy has potential but it’s actually more work than what it’s worth if I’m not tracking things right in the moment.

Better before the update

I’m not sure why BerryStreetNutritionTherapy was updated this way. Before you could track water intake, and the protein, carbs, etc, in what you ate, which is what my dietician has asked me to track. Now, it’s just what you ate, which is not as beneficial because BerryStreetNutritionTherapy no longer gives me those stats. May have to switch to using another app, which may also mean I might stop using berry street…

Better before the update

I can’t find a way to track water, or macros and micros anymore which I really liked. When you try and adjust the date and time some of the numbers don’t display. I didn’t have issues before and I had more options before. It is easy, but it wasn’t difficult before either you just used as much or as little as you wanted.

New update

This new update is not good, I can't add my exercises or other features I was doing before. The program is good but BerryStreetNutritionTherapy now not so much.

Not a fan of new updates - otherwise it’s great

So far I’ve been loving this service and have had a great experience with my nutritionist. But I am really missing the old features on BerryStreetNutritionTherapy . Can no longer track my macros, customized goals, and my water intake. Also lost the history of my logs since the new update. Please bring these features back!

Updated App = less functionality

The new update removed the ability to upload files. I would upload diet history and macro overviews. I can’t do either now. Before, I could upload to a files section. The chat feature is only letting me send pictures and not spreadsheets or pdf.

Ok functionality

Can’t see the food fullness survey for before and after meals even though my dietician says it should be available. Also wish I could save my frequent meals since I eat the same breakfast most days.

Great App and services!

I don’t really get the negative reviews. Even before this newest app update, I didn’t have any problems except for when my internet was slow, which isn’t any fault of BerryStreetNutritionTherapy ’s.

It did take a while (about a month and a half) for me to get my first appointment, but I assume it’s because having new patients is a lot of work. My dietician and I hit it off immediately, and she has made me feel very comforted in this very new territory for me. She is very kind and personable, and makes the process of improving my nutrition seem less daunting.

Plus, BerryStreetNutritionTherapy itself offers so many things, from digestion tracking, to water intake, and food journaling.

I really love BerryStreetNutritionTherapy, and I’d definitely recommend giving the service a try if your insurance helps cover for costs. I’m very fortunate to have minimal costs due to my insurance, so I’m unsure how expensive it can get. But if you’re covered and can connect with the right person, it’s really worth a shot!

I love chatting with my dietitian

I love that my dieticin leaves me comments and emojis on my food journals ❤️ I’m learning so much about how food affect my body. I love this service.

Great to see the app launch

Such a great idea in general, have enjoyed my consults to date but definitely glad to see BerryStreetNutritionTherapy launch so it is easier to access my account and make and change appointments.

The new update is missing old features

I hate how they removed the ability to add goals, and the water intake tracker! Its now just all for food!

Meal tracking is so easy

You just take a picture and it scans it for you and automatically adds notes. Pretty awesome how quick it is. And my dietitian can see it and leave notes

Like food therapy

Berry Street is the best! Until I found them I didn’t realize that my insurance would cover sessions with a dietitian. My dietitian makes me feel so heard and supported while also holding me accountable and giving me practical strategies. I cannot recommend it enough!

The easiest way to track food and symptoms

I’ve been working with a dietitian focused on weight concerns since May have the food journaling in BerryStreetNutritionTherapy is so uncomplicated I actually have stuck to it. It can take so long to add every item, and here I just snap a photo and my dietitians leaves comments. Excited to see what’s coming next.

Berry Street provides a great service

Excited to improve my health with the help of a dietician
