I used to be able to look at most of the weeks weather don’t seem to be able to now.
I used to love WTENStormTracker, would’ve given it 5 stars....I really don’t like the changes made since the update. It’s much less user friendly and has less information.
Before the update I gave WTENStormTracker 4 stars. Simply because of ad pop-ups and no option to pay for WTENStormTracker to get these to stop. But now I don’t even want to give it one star. There’s no daily forecast, no option to change my default location, too many tabs, no hour by hour forecast, it’s hard to navigate, and it just doesn’t feel like a good weather app anymore. I ended up deleting it and choosing a different app instead.
App updates should improve an app not make it worse. The only problem before was the ads popping up but it was free so no big deal. Now it’s basically a website in an app form. The navigation is horrible. I just want to see current conditions right away, temp at the moment, weekly forecast and hourly with any weather warnings. This is impossible with the new update unless I want to be clicking forever.
This update it awful. Hourly, weekly, and current weather are all gone! Not much of a weather app anymore. I used to love WTENStormTracker and use it daily. I’ll no longer be using it.
It took me almost an hour to set up my location. Every time I tried, WTENStormTracker kept using Lexington, Kentucky! I live in Albany, NY! I ended up deleting WTENStormTracker and reinstalling it. When I finally got the location fixed, it wouldn’t save my alerts. I don’t need tropical alerts or any kind of water alerts. I don’t live by the water. But WTENStormTracker thinks I do, because I can’t turn them off. I ended up deleting WTENStormTracker permanently this time and getting another app. I’d give WTENStormTracker 0 stars, but the system won’t let me.
The graphics and the easy navigation was my first go to or anything news or weather related. Since the upgrade I am going to remove the apps since they aren’t user friendly
Deleted app since new change. Literally got rid of the “storm tracker” and many other features in the radar map. Map doesn’t even show times or a future cast. Should be forced to change name of app.
Make it more like the old version. Clear up the navigation & make the radar viewing clearer. The new one is kind of blurry. The old I would have give 5 stars - the new one - maybe 1....
Why would you change your weather app to no longer display the weather? I can’t find the current temp or print forecast. Time to find a new app. I’m disappointed because I liked the local weather alerts. :(
Not user friendly, very difficult to navigate. Too many tabs and info scattered everywhere. Also crashed on me when I first opened WTENStormTracker . I preferred the previous version very simple easy to use.
I consider my self as an app wizard. This is not intuitive at all. More junk and the lack of the features and simplicity compared to before. Make it easy to view hourly forecast, allow for layers on map not just a single option. I refuse to use it so I don’t know what else I don’t like.
The older version of WTENStormTracker was easier to use, it felt like you didn’t have to dig for the information you wanted as much. The multi-day forecast was easier to see.
Used to enjoy watching the early morning weather report on WTENStormTracker . Now all I see is a large gray screen; when I click on it, WTENStormTracker shuts down!!
This new update is really bad. It seems they went back in time. Really poor showing for Albany go to weather station. I will be downloading a different weather station app.
Hope for latest rain updates to be more accurate.
I'm a weather junkie and watch Denis Phillips forecasts on ABC channel 10 out of Tampa. I have at least 14 different weather apps on my iPhone. I like this application a lot. It has one very noticeable thing that the developer has overlooked. In the "Closings and More" tab the information goes back to 2014 with the most recent information from February 2016. With hurricane season on and with the Hurricane Matthew plowing its way through the Caribbean it would be useful to have information more current than nearly 3 years ago. If you don't intend to maintain this page then delete it from WTENStormTracker .
My only issue is the radar is different than old style
Harder now to see specific areas for rain or storms coming and how close
Otherwise it is very good
