This is clearly meant to only make profile type pics. All humans are directly front facing and only from the shoulders up. You can use it for other items, I did a few of my cat and a few of some flower photos. All were overtly cartoonish and too cutesy. If the purpose is to let preschoolers make fun pics of themselves as cowboys in front of a mountain with a lighthouse you’re in luck. But if you want interaction between multiple people or even a whole body pic, or want to use parameters like fight, gun, or battle too bad. I tried to create a fight scene between an eel and a tiger and the app didn’t recognize the words. This is basically the cheap toy version of an image generator and not worth your time. I’ve been using it in the beta for roughly two months since became available and if Apple just removed it no one would miss it. In fact it would be a service to their customers because no one would have to be disappointed about the time time wasted trying to use it and learning that it’s just trash. It makes me think Apple created this just so they could tell shareholders about the great new product they made without actually innovating and creating a great new product. Another example of how Apple has lost its way the last few years. But I digress. Go ahead, get the beta and try this out. Maybe you’ll love it. I doubt it.

I like fun AI stuff, and I’ve used other various platforms to generate images, but this one is truly just a waste of phone space. If you could edit the prompt for specific people, that might make it worth it, but it can’t seem to understand even basic instructions. Like, a fairly normal request like telling it to add glasses will put on huge clown frames or distort my face completely.
It also always generates me without lips and one row of very long teeth, even though none of my photos look like that. I was excited about this as the next step for Memojis to make poses and faces, but it can’t understand even the most basic instruction, so I’m not sure what the point is.
Apple Intelligence is truly so disappointing, I know it’s in early stages, but it can’t even do the standard things every other AI platform can do, so it just feels like an annoyance more than anything.

Bottom line is outside of conceptual art pop art is my true love. Try including the images that make up our modern lives and this app prevents it. Say goodbye to satire, social commentary or the honest corporate landscape we inhabit. Apple being either is running from anything artistic like we would expect of a corporate juggernaut or so afraid of a lawsuit ( they are so small and broke after all) that protecting anything for satire, criticism, free thought etc.. has become an afterthought if thought of at all. Out of twenty mild attempts two were made having gone so far out of the way to obfuscate my objective that grimace looked like a blue werewolf.
The app is for cheap amusement and children not for anything resembling art, mildly edgy imagery or anything beyond playing to the simple and only stealing from independent developers rather than established corporate entities.
