ShortsWave: Watch Drama Series Reviews

So I downloaded ShortsWave , and even paid for a weekly subscription. However I can not watch a single story past episode 9. I have the latest app version, tried restarting and redownloading ShortsWave . But it never lets me watch past episode 9 with the subscription. This is the second week I’ve tried.

ShortsWave doesn’t even allow me to contact their support either. This needs to be fixed.

All other apps offer the weekly unlimited dramas. I thought it was the same until I subscribed for the weekly subscription and didn’t even finish an entire drama and it said I had to unlock for coins. I will delete ShortsWave after my weekly subscription is over. Also they don’t even have support on ShortsWave . The dramas are nice but I’d rather pay for an unlimited weekly somewhere else.

who owe me some couple months of money…. If I was able to attach screenshots I could provide evidence of so. I’ve paid for the subscription multiple times now yet I’ve not been able to access it every time it wants me to pay for episodes. It also will not let me log in and I’ve tried everything multiple times..so now I am going to report ShortsWave to apple cause I want my money back. If it were possible to give a negative star I would.

I bought coins to keep watching and they weren’t loaded even tho my acct was charged. I saw it says to email and I did and haven’t had a response. I wanted to keep watching now that I wasn’t busy by tomorrow I’ll probably lose interest. I think I prefer to go back to my other app reel shorts and Kalos with those apps as soon as I pay to keep watching it unlocks the episodes. I haven’t even gone through one story and this happens 😏

Look I come keep coming back to ShortsWave when I have a little extra money as a reward for working my all week. I then go buy credits to find out you expect me to re pay for all the episodes I already watched you need to fix this or I will not be coming back!

I have a lot of these video shorts app and this one is the worst when it comes to user navigation. I can’t find a search button, it’s hard to go back a few seconds to read dialogue that went by to quickly, I haven’t found a way to save what I want to watch later. I won’t be using again. I hope they update their app soon.

I enjoyed the story but I think it’s a little too expensive to read each chapter. There’s got to be a better way to read the whole story without paying the price for several regular books. I don’t think I will be reading any more. It’s just a waste of money.

I have watched couple of series and was happy with contents. However after an updated I could no longer log into my account. I am getting a api error message. I keep returning to check if issue is addressed, but no luck.

Don’t like the ads, soon as you open ShortsWave , doesn’t have a search bar so I can’t look up the dramas I’m looking for, cost wayyy to much yall need the $18 a week plan like everyone else then I would watch yall just as much as I watch them which is a lot, The only reason it’s a 2 star is because yall have shows the other don’t. Please step y’all’s game up for real.

I like the price to watch, love when I can subscribe for a week for only $20, and enjoying the couple seconds at a time I get to watch when it plays. I’ve seen some of the other stories on other apps so I know they have good stories but it’s EXTREMELY glitchy. I can only watch a few seconds before it stops then I have to wait till it starts again. It’s taken me almost 122 hr just to watch 3 episodes

I think that ShortsWave has a lot of great shorts but the downfall is ShortsWave itself. You’re not able to search shorts by name you just have to scroll. When you find a nice short from social media when clicking on the link it just opens ShortsWave it doesn’t bring you to the actual short. Now you’re scrolling trying to find it and sometimes the short video previews doesn’t give out the name. Its annoying and disappointing because it prevent me from watching

Mad that translation is not consistent. Not all thoughts/conversations are translated, leaving us missing parts of the plot.

It’s great that there is a playback speed control, but it doesn’t always work.

Regular playback speed is inconsistent sometimes way to fast to read and when speed controls aren’t working then you must keep rewinding to read the translation.

One huge positive is that you can pay weekly or yearly and watch everything. Otherwise it is very expensive if you pay per episode.

When are you going to allow tablet usage? The iPhones screen is not that large for watching videos, which is why you need to update for the iPads/tablets! Could you please add watching ads to unlock a few screens?

After watching all the ads; the shorts are still too short. I’m about to delete this one cuz I can’t remember everything I watched cause there’s no listing showing me what I’ve been watching.

Great app. It’s user-friendly, doesn’t bleed you dry of money, and is reasonable. The only two complaints I really have is a lack of a playlist. I had something similar to a playlist, but it randomly disappears. I don’t remember what stories I had saved up. It doesn’t directly say it’s a playlist, more likely a “recently watched” area that, like I said, disappears. Plus, I would like to know who the actors and actresses are. Their names aren’t mentioned anywhere.

It only takes 5coins per episode. There is also a pretty good bundle for free watching. I have watched two so far that are cute. Watching one right now about a soldier that goes back in time and is supposed to be an idiot but of course he saves everyone. ❤️😉

ShortsWave has some great drama video but just bad one bad experienced with a drama that has the exact same name except a few words were added so slightly different but same video. I watched the one with less word title that popped up when you open ShortsWave . Then the next day I tried reopening that same video but it’s no longer available or allowing me to open. So I tried closing out and reopening and found the exact same video but less word on title thinking it was the same video I watched which it was except it was another same video but now some episodes I already watched from the previous night was locked, making me lose my coins or points that I earned to watch the next unwatched episode. So with the points I had, it was just used up to watch the same episodes I already watched. And I feel that was not fair.

Your content is amazing and all of your Chinese Drama’s are really enjoyable. I really would love to subscribe however your content is behind exorbitant paywalls that off puts so many people. Either I pay a one time fee of $200/ year or $15/ week. Not even Netflix charges me that much in a month and they’ve gotten pretty money hungry lately. I did pay $20 for coins to try and get further in a show and I nearly finished it before hitting another paywall. It’s great content but unfortunately until you come down to at least Netflix prices I won’t even consider it anymore. I can always turn to 🏴‍☠️ push comes to shove for the amazing content but I would rather support the artist I enjoy. Please come down on your prices.

Should be given a weekly fee, i am disabled, and i like ur content, but i have other apps like urs and they charge like $20 a week to watch, i would like to watch ur content, but i can not afford ur fees, just to watch 1 series is like $40 its ridiculous… sadly i cant watch them plz come back with a better pay plan..

I love watching various short stories. ShortsWave by far has had the best short stories. Most of the other apps have the same story line. I haveʻnt seen that here. Some of the dramas have so much violence. I love beautiful stories.

As long as you come back to it and watch the ads it’s possible but takes forever to finish even a short series

Love it. Great app to use. Wish there was more ways to earn tokens or more ads to watch to earn them instead of buying them. But overall great app to use and I enjoy the stories.

Short wave is super cool to watch short series in dramas in a short period of time you can watch them or your break when you're off work I just like watching the different variety of shows that they have to offer
