Astonishing Basketball Career Reviews

This is slightly disappointing, from the gameplay to the algorithm to the appearance, everything is lacking depth in this game. First off, if you’re black? Your player isn’t! They haven’t even put a simple buzz cut in the game! All the hairstyles are for white people. They don’t even have a black hair color which is absurd. The shooting mechanic is terrible. The meter moves way faster than it should and the line to make shots is practically nonexistent. On top of that, you can miss shots in the green line but you’ll NEVER make shots away from the green line. Lastly, and honestly it’s pretty important, the ball is WAY TOO BIG! Have the developers not played basketball and don’t know the proper proportion of basketball to rim? The ball in this game is way too big and it makes shooting even worse. I don’t want to mention dunking, just know it’s garbage too! If this took 8yrs to make, it needs another 8 to iron out some of these features because it’s nasty. You can’t move the player, sometimes you can’t even pass. It needs a TON of work

There is no other options other than the straight hair ones. No dreads, waves, or even curly hair. The clothing options and portrait options are not too good but it isn’t that bad. The clothing options and accessory options are absolutely horrendous. When you start as a rookie, it’s absolutely impossible. You barely get any minutes, or you don’t even play the games. I NEVER get game time and it’s really agitating. And now the shooting thingy. It’s literally almost impossible. My shot is in the GREEN and and I end up bricking. It’s literally impossible I can’t shoot at all. What I think they should add instead is where the green is full and you have to make it in the green. For example the timer and the middle section can be green and it has to be in the green. I so far only made it to a rookie so i’m not too sure if it is just because i’m a rookie. But PLEASE more than ANYTHING CHANGE THE SHOOTING!!!

7/10, good game concept but it’s pretty much just the last game with 3D elements so far. There’s also a glitch where I can’t see the post-game interview options, so I’m blindly guessing.. It leaves a lot to be desired so far. More hair styles FOR SURE. But otherwise the 3D style is fun, although clunky. I think maybe going for a more stylized style or comical one would work well.

I appreciate the minimalist design and believe this game has a high ceiling it can reach only if it fixes these glaring issues.

My foremost and biggest issue is that I played through college to get a feel for the game, and came out a top prospect (drafted 4th). I get to my pro team and for 30 games straight I have a better fg & 3p% than the starting pg by a mile plus the same apg but more rpg.
Why am I not a starter??? My team then went on to draft ANOTHER pg who immediately started and has now knocked me down to 7th on the bench. It honestly blew my mind.

2nd huge issue is the text prompts in events (i.e. after game interview) they just don't show up. I’ve tried resetting my game thinking it was a download issue but nope they simply don't show so I’m blind guessing replies to questions. Its a bit infuriating.

The 3rd glaring issue is the lack of transparency with skill stats (i.e. shooting, defending, etc.).
Besides the one explanation for shooting vs defense shaking the screen I have no clue how much the other stats actually affect my character. Passing is by far the most vague one so I’d appreciate a tool tip for each of them.

The other issues are QoL things that I think you can focus on later but those 3 I mentioned are prime gameplay issues that I hope you can fix and I promise this will be one of the best mobile basketball games.

1st things first, the positives, the games pretty entertaining for a lil bit and I like the fax they added the ability to jump into games, even tho it’s kinda trash but better than nothing. I feel like the grind is cool and I like how I get to play from college to the league…

There’s a few better things I'm probably not listing but I feel like reviews should be for what u want to see fixed so I’ll move on to the negatives.

First things first I don’t know if it’s a glitch or not but currently I’m the best player on my team by far and this is the 2nd time it’s happening in a row were I just randomly get benched and start averaging terrible stats. Nothing I do fixes that and I can’t get traded bc it usually happens after the deadline… I also feel like the jump in game should be fixed and a lot better, firstly greens don’t go in sometimes which make no sense, I have a solid shooting attribute but sometimes I’ve missed greens with a defender with less than 50. Also might be a lot to ask for but it’d be nice to be able to do more in the jump in games, bc yea the shots are cool but it’d be better if there were more mini games, etc…

The games still relatively new so I can’t be completely mad but feel like there still a lot of work to be done.

Despite some issues like:
- not seeing any text in conversation parts of the game (talking to coach, post game interviews, etc) just empty bubbles
- the jersey customization is fun, though a little lacking, but what’s the point of doing it if I don’t get to see it in game? Also if they don’t have any effect on the game I don’t really see the point in including different responses.
- UI navigation is just straight up clumsy and aggravating. Like the color picker forcing you to scroll all the way from the top any time you pick a new color
- 3 hairstyles? For real?
- maybe a tutorial mode would help. I’ve been playing almost nonstop for a week and I JUST discovered that there is an “assist” button during games
- a slew of other tiny little frustrating things that could be fixed easily
- honestly if it wasn’t for how addictive simply making a basket is and watching my players stats go up, I would have put the game down very early. There’s not a lot of direction and I’ve been finding things out after winning a ring that I should have been informed of on my college season.
Great game though I hope the developers continue to…develop

the game is fun and not bad. didn't have any issues with ads, but the green bar is weird. the shot you take from the left 3pt area (midcourt not corner) misses on green almost every time unless you go early. text for interviews don't show up either so it was a guessing game. also after what i feel was evenly distributing my skills from upgrading, my defense was still getting all Fs. my shooting and FG% were the only things that weren't F bc i could directly control them. other than that it's a fun game just thought of those things to fix

Only thing I feel the game should have is the ability to dunk an actually play defense also more faces and hair also have better abilities when coming out of college i seen college rookies having all A and B they should at least give us C coming to the nba

There is no reason to have that green bar on the shooting bar. The reason? I steadily miss when I time the shot to land in the green. When you shoot the ball from further than right underneath it never smoothly goes in anyways. Especially when Im shooting threes, the ball just rolls out of the hoop and I get punished for timing my shot perfectly. Please fix this its so frustrating. Put more height on the shots and make it actually go in when you time the shot well.

I thoroughly enjoy playing this game, my only issues is when your on the left side of the 3 pt line, for some reason I miss that shot more than all the others, and I’ll get a “nice” everytime, and when your at home, the game shouldn’t be shaking as bad as it is, and the text when your taking interviews doesn’t show up, I genuinely hope the creators see this and give this game the improvement it deserves!

It’s Pretty Good But I have something that is annoying

I haven’t played Basketball but I have watched so Like I know every shot isn’t perfect but when I get it to the green mark it like bounces into the I forgot it was called that is for entering the basketball like it bounces and it’s hard for me to get points like I Know Every Shot isn’t perfect but I kinda hate that fact

I love the game night and I love that idea back on the other one. I was playing that in the career and I’m happy that they have a start at one for this, but I would really like it could change that the three-point shot helps you more in game and just all shots in general also like to ask if you guys can make more hairstyles because not everyone has straight hair

Hi I’ve played this game for a couple weeks now and one thing I’ve noticed is the even in the green window you can still miss. I’ve done it multiple times and it’s kinda frustrating. Another thing is that there are no swishes from the three point line.

I truly love and appreciate and respect the apps my only problems or issues is that i can't sim a plethora of games at once I have to go one by one which gets tiring and that's there are not real ratings/ overalls to determine how good a player is because for example Player A can have A- or higher everything and average 23 8 6 while Player B with a B+ shooting and everything else lower can average 31 7 and 7

This game is very good, and is very enjoyable. It is very fun to actually be able to influence my player’s game. The problem is that when shooting a three for the left side, and I hit a nice, that sometimes/most of the time, it just rolls out of the rim, I hope you guy’s will be able to fix this, definitely a great game.

The experience has been intriguing. Although the game became available yesterday, I think the concept is good. But I will mention the details, specifically about the character's appearance need more variety. The addition of more styles of hair, skin color, and height change. And perhaps when the scenario of a person's created athlete is defended by an opponent, teammates of both players will be on the court, too. So when a person decides to pass the ball to their teammate, they can see it happen, and whether they attempt a jump-shot, shot near the rim, or pass to another teammate who can decide what to execute and has the better result.

Currently the only bug ive experienced is the post game interview bug. The options are whited out and i cannot see which choice are. I basically cannot answer the interview question like i would like too without just guess what each option says.

Can we Pls Patch the Post Game Interview Multiple choice answers I have No clue what I am choosing to say..Even with Talking to the Coach the multiple choice questions are not visible.

Please add a shooting mode where you can shoot with your right or left hand in practice and in the game, please add this I am begging you

This game is fun and it’s more in your hands than full simulation, definitely addictive if u get good with your meter
