Reeling you in with the ads you see you seem to believe that they could possibly offer “tiers” so maybe there’s a free one, pay more of you want more, which is understandable from business practices anymore. You download PixelPets , excited to just simply see about how it works where your greeted by this nice introduction page. When your finished telling PixelPets what you would really want from PixelPets , you’re then greeted by the payment screen, which there is no way around. You’re asked to start a super short 3 day trial, and from there your asked to start paying after those 3 days $9.99 per week. Do the math and your paying on average 39.96 not including tax which we can assume to be about 10% of the total and so you have an extra $4 ish to add.

$43.96 for just one month of having a virtual pet that you can “feed and play” with. A real pet is just as costly as PixelPets could end up being, and it’s a blatant attempt by a greedy group of people hoping some kids parents are gullible enough to let them have the service for even a week.
