Kendra G Singles Reviews

I used KendraGSingles three times because each time it had massive problems. The first time I subscribed to the basic version. I was barely seeing anybody so I upgraded to the more expensive version. This is where it got super problematic. I would get so many likes but the likes don’t register in order. That was not a major deal but then all of a sudden I started getting likes from people that were not in my preferences. All age ranges were in my likes all genders were in my likes. And then all of a sudden KendraGSingles exploded and I got hundreds and hundreds of people in my like section who had not even liked me. so the people who actually liked me would just fall into the black hole of likes and I would never know who they actually were. There was no way for me to see who liked me because apparently everybody on KendraGSingles liked me… men women etc. But they hadn’t liked me at all it was just an error in KendraGSingles and I kept re-paying for KendraGSingles to see if that error would go away but it never did. KendraGSingles is complete garbage. Also there’s nobody to contact if you have trouble

Absolutely, love the show. So I thought I’d give KendraGSingles a try….. not once (first week of release) but twice paid subscription (4 weeks in)….same result. KendraGSingles has several bugs and missing components.

Issue 1 - once you select the heart or like a profile, it disappears.
Issue 2 - you will receive “You have a new like” messages, but no one is in the cue/message board.
Issue 3 - you can only communicate if you’re a paid member AND if you match
Issue 4. - once you choose the X that’s it you can’t see the profile again. It disappears and if you’ve reviewed your options that’s it for your search… you’ll receive a notification that you’ve reviewed all of your options.
Issue 5 - there is no option for height
Issue 6. - you must upload at least two pictures however there is no way to verify the photos so many are not photos of people. Several profiles are random objects
Issue 7 - a several profiles are “fans” noting they are married and simply here to support the show, not find love…weird right?
And lastly the subscription options are primarily the same

The premise is great but KendraGSingles itself is bad from a technical standpoint.
Trying to upload pictures and complete my profile took way too long due to errors in uploading photos- which was solved by uploading, backing out of the profile page, and returning to see the photo there as if nothing happened.
If I try to click a profile to read it, it gives an error so I can’t decide. I went ahead and just “X’ed” one just to see if it would let me move on. It did but the same issue happened where I couldn’t actually open the profile.
I did the paid option to see if the problem persisted in “likes” but there, you can view profiles. KendraGSingles is too new, has too many functionality issues, and has too few users to justify paying $20 a month at this time.

She got us good. I’ve NEVER seen so many duplicate profiles. She has to be paying a staff or AI to act like they are singles. I was on for 2 days and saw several “people” with about 5 different profiles using the same images and exact phrasing. Ask them to send you a photo doing something specific- put 2 fingers on your nose and close one eye. HAH they will use every excuse in the book to not do it!!!! Use that $4.99 and put it in your gas tank to go sit at the mall and meet someone in person hahaha I’m just mad I can’t get my money back. Everyone is praising Kendra,but she a scammer and I got got. Is Kendra a Nigerian?

I really wanted to support Kendra - I think she is amazing - but this dating app was a horrible experience for me. Between the glitches and scammers, I never really got comfortable using it at all. Many of the scammers are posing as deployed military men. I found one of the real men whose identity was being used on KendraGSingles under the fake profile name Richard Pother and let him know that someone was pretending to be him. Even sending me pictures if his daughter. Insane. After about two weeks of trying to meet someone decent (or just real), I couldn’t take it anymore. I hope that one day it gets better for future users.

There is no verification process for people who are signed up so there are a lot of fake profiles. I have one person with 3 different profiles and name with the same person (red flag) in all the photos and they keep liking me. I am getting people from Nigeria and other European countries reaching out to me though I have my preference distance listed. I am about to unsubscribe and y’all can tell us when it gets better. As of now it is just like most of the other dating apps out there.

I love Kendra, but she missed the mark on this one. She has been doing this for a minute and if you are going to launch a website and have a subscription, then we should be able to Taylor the search to what we are seeking. We can’t search by age, height or location. There are a bunch of women liking me. I’m not gay… so why am I seeing them? Prefence and location is one of your major questions on your show. So what is the point if I’m in NY and someone who liked me is in Zimbabwe… make it make sense. Yet you still got my money. If you are going to do this for real, keep true to the show we love and start over and make some REAL matching changes to hook up your kousins. Come on gurl… you got this

I’m proud of Kendra for creating her app, but unfortunately, it’s useless. You have to pay for everything, and it’s quite similar to Hinge, which offers the same features for free. There are several bugs that hopefully she can fix sooner rather than later. I had KendraGSingles downloaded for a couple of hours and deleted it the same day. Although I love to support a black business, I won’t pay for an app that is ultimately non-functional when I can get the same services for free using another app.

Having watched Kendra’s show for several years, I believe it’s unfair to force participants on the show to download her app rather than providing their socials (IG, Facebook). Some people simply don’t want to be on dating sites and should be given the option to share their social media instead. However, I understand it from a profitability standpoint. Hopefully, she reads all the feedback from the poor reviews and is open to constructive criticism.

As a former software quality engineer over 20 years ago, I can’t believe that KendraGSingles underwent any type of beta or alpha testing before release to market. I say this would both love and care for Kendra because the reviews properly identify the problems, but apparently her IT team is not fixing them which would likely require a major shutdown of KendraGSingles to fix. I sadly believe there are two problems: 1) Kendra is getting scammed by the developer of her app that she likely pays good money; and 2) she does not want to face the reality — or receive feedback — that the functionality of KendraGSingles is more significant than mere “bugs” but KendraGSingles needs a major overhaul and update to “function as intended.” With this in mind, Kendra should provide clear “requirements” to the developers and not pay until they meet her requirements to function properly. This is easier said than done however if she has low expectations and they are taking advantage of her lack of understanding. This is really sad. I hope app version 2.0 is much better and her paying customers like me get what they pay for or they should stop charging;, stop accepting new members; and fix the basic performance capabilities. My comments will likely be trashed and my consulting time is not free. However, I must have a clear conscious b/c I want Sister Kendra to succeed.

Kendra need to go back to the development stage of KendraGSingles. KendraGSingles was rushed and no thought put into it. Kendra should have offered KendraGSingles for free until it is built up and at least working properly. I is not different than these other dating apps full of fake profiles and B.S! At the very least you should be able to get a free trial. I signed up 1 hour ago and getting ready to delete my account already it is useless!

U have to pay for everything on here except creating an account. U have to pay to see likes to send messages.

Also I do not like the very limited filters available. The filters in place are way to wide and you will be getting bots from all across the globe. Kendra has been bragging about KendraGSingles for years and I am very disappointed in the outcome of KendraGSingles, very amateur might as well get a tinder account.

First of all, the filter concept does not work. Even though my location range is limited and I’ve selected only men, I get likes from women and people from all over the world.

Also, when you like someone’s profile it just disappears into thin air… There’s no way to find them again unless you remember their name.

This should be free for right now given all of the bugs… Canceling subscription.

So glad you have an app and you’re putting your idea forward but the selection of prospects are subpar. I’m heterosexual and get more of the same sex likes than what I am looking for. The age range is off the distance is off everything so far is off. This has got to still be in beta bc this can’t be it. I paid for one week to support and see these likes I’m getting and uhn uhn I cancelled my membership immediately after I purchased. I’ll come back in a few months if I’m still single and hopefully it will be better.

App is really good In concept but unless you match on the main page with someone, you won’t be able to message anyone. I paid for the subscription and I have probably 100s of likes but I can’t match anyone. And the girls that I was actually were interested in, I hit the “Like” button on my likes page to match… And they disappeared from the list completely and they no longer show up in the list. So I completely lost those potential matches.

If you subscribe just know you’re going to flush money down the drain right now because it will completely not work and you’re just essentially scammed out of $5-7

Way to many glitches. Feels like this was launched way too soon and still in development. Was unable to search per my location. No one in the area and unable to search by age range, distance or anything else. Also the price is insane. Not paying $4.99/week for this (or any dating app) Monthly, quarterly or an annual subscription is more realistic. App has potential, but it would need to offer something different than any other dating app out here right now. Deleted.

It doesn’t allow anyone to join/login or browse. Says its in beta and reached its maximum users, check back in 30 days…. Its been two months since then

App needs a lot of work. I support Kendra in what she is trying to do but KendraGSingles is not helping. I can’t message matches or even see their profile. When you watch the show and she invites you to look up the person on KendraGSingles , you cannot message them to connect. I put a support communication in and never received a response. I have over 30 likes from women profiles that say they are looking for men, so not sure why they would like my profile when I’m also looking for a man. Not very helpful or useful. I tried.

I tried KendraGSingles for one week and I must say I'm glad it was only $5. I set my profile to “interested in men” and still received women on my page. In addition, the number of fake accounts is unbelievable! I had the same picture of the same person with different names on my page right next to each other, and the duplicate fake accounts continued daily. At $5 a week, its minimal, but I would not recommend it until they find a way to clean up the fake accounts.

Needs an unmatch button. It buffers when swiping instead of just swiping. It doesn’t show when you swipe on the heart if someone else has selected you. It does not show like other apps when click on the “X” you’ve just missed a potential match and give you the opportunity to reverse the selection. It does not have a filter like where is the height.
I’m happy you were able to get an app..congrats on the launch.. it just needs some updating to be comparable to other apps.

I’m a long time fan of Kendra G and her dating shows. I was super excited for KendraGSingles and I signed up for the subscription immediately. I can appreciate all of the hard work, time, and monetary investments put in to this project but at this point I am a bit disappointed. I get likes from people that do not meet my criteria therefore requiring me to go through hundreds of people to get to a few that meet my desires. Then when I finally make a match, the person disappears.

I want to say Thank you for creating such a wonderful necessary tool for dating. Happy that a woman of color is taking her stance for LOVE. A lot of people have duplicate photo profiles with different names and address locations. Some people’s Profiles appear to be AI generated ? You give your preference but it gets it ignored and you get some of everybody and everything ? You can’t remove / X out people that you do not want a connection with , It says something went wrong ? You can’t make a serious decision when it comes to choosing a person based on their various profiles & photo’s. The face is the same but they change their names and change where they live. REALLY ? The hiccups needs to be addressed and fined tuned . You get this non sense for free on social media. Why pay a price for these shenanigans. I’ll give it reasonable time for adjustments and see what happens. If nothing changes I’ll just delete my account ?

KendraGSingles keeps glitching and when it tells you you have a like and you go to your likes that you actually pay for it doesn’t show anything when you go to look at someone’s picture. It automatically skips the next person before you can see it. There’s a few glitches in the system that need to be fixed.

I created a profile but it says incorrect password. I did “forgot password” but the 6 digit code never comes through to my email. Please fix

As far as the functionality of KendraGSingles , it’s useless at this moment.
- I set my preference for gender, distance and age and my likes are filled with women, international men and various ages from way too young to way too old. That preference portion needs to be more solid or else remove it, because it doesn’t work.
- I’ve lost so many potential matches because when I press the heart, they completely disappear in my match section and in my likes section. I’ve started following their social page beforehand so I don’t lose them anymore, but that needs to be fixed.
- The fake profiles, and profiles of the ppl that aren’t looking for relationships, but fans of the show have to be removed somehow.
- There needs to be an area that lists the height of these men.
- I get notifications of new likes often, but I can never find them when I look. The new likes should appear at the top of the page, otherwise it’s really confusing if I have to sift through old likes to find new ones because they’re mixed up.

Looking forward to the fixes and being able to fully take advantage of KendraGSingles.

This online dating was new for me so since I watch the show from time to time I thought I’d try Kendra’s app. Reasonable price, IMO. The issue for me is as most have said, scammers, men posing as military men, and repeated profile info. I really thought this would be fun but if these profiles are being stolen, I am choosing to leave now and delete mine. Even though I know the information is out there regardless. Maybe when it gets some more options I’ll come back.

I like the concept however I like hinge better. Only because you can chat with people you like. I don’t want to pay for a service and not ever meet or match with anyone. Also, once I run out of locals that’s it. It doesn’t allow you to refresh and see same options anymore. Where else with other apps it’ll bring people who you declined on. What if I x someone by mistake. That’s it.

I’m sure some bugs will be worked out over time within KendraGSingles ’s functionality,but I do see that there’s a good amount of married men on here and if this was live with Kendra she would dismiss them which is fair and I would love this to flourish into a app that people seriously want to find a real LOVE, there’s other apps out there for the shenanigans hopefully this will be a winner.

First, So proud of Kendra and a regular follower of the show. I downloaded and subscribed right away to KendraGSingles but was disappointed to find my likes were a mix of men and women. The women showing were interested in men according to their profiles so not even sure why they would have “liked” me. I am a straight woman looking for a man so I feel like I wasted money paying for the subscription that did not work properly or apply any filters. I will come back later to try again.

After reading a few of the reviews, I think some people don’t quite understand how new KendraGSingles is. It’s going to come with bugs, it’s going to take time before there are hella people on here, and it’s a dating app meaning it’s going to have similarities to other dating apps.

Now that that’s out the way, there are things that could be improved on. Being able to select the age range is cool, but I’d like to be able to filter by height, intent, kids, and things like of that nature. The photos are hella cropped, it’s not bad but I would like to see more of the photo that I’m looking at. And I don’t see an option to “unmatch” anyone. Other than that, this is a GREAT start. And “verification” would be a great addition to cut down some of the shenanigans.

Lastly (which this is unrelated to KendraGSingles functionality) this is something that is ours. Don’t turn this into a Tinder or BLK. There are already people with fake profiles and solicitation on here. KendraGSingles was just launched, we have to do better.

I love that Kendra has followed her dream to connect people together. I think KendraGSingles is great but like new apps there are expected bugs. I’m not sure how to chat with people or do you have to match to chat.

Unfortunately there are scammers taking advantage and creating fake pages. Also, on the likes page it’s mixed with both genders so it’s hard to tell when you get a notification who actually it’s from. Am I able to view KendraGSingles from a desktop top?

Kendra add a way by the states so we can speak to people in a certain state. I have to wait to be found to chat with anyone this is sad! All the folks that see me mostly is out the USA. Also please have verified accounts!!!

Regarding user experience: I always get notifications that someone liked my profile but I can’t see who and I can only like one at a time I’d like to browse based on preferences.

First, congratulations on KendraGSingles . Now issues I’ve noticed.

1. Some profiles you’ve seen on KendraGSingles once you like them and try to search for them again immediately after they don’t show up in the search like they don’t exist. This happens even if you don’t like them as well. The search feature needs fixing.

2. Lots of fake profiles which I assume are normal on dating apps.

3. There should be an option to block out international people if you don’t seek them as an option.

4. I get constant notifications of new likes but when I go look it’s the same people. Now recently that issue seems to have gotten fixed, but now all those likes are mixed with men and women. Now I made it clear I want women only, so I’m not sure why I have men likes as well.

Kendra congratulations, you’re doing very well and this is just a good way of bringing souls together… i will only suggest you let KendraGSingles run at least for two weeks without any restrictions for eg “who likes you” let people get to know and enjoy KendraGSingles then you can introduce restrictions. My opinion tho, God bless you❤️
