I saw an ad for a game that had multiple overlapping Venn diagrams and you had to rearrange the words around the cores so they all made sense. I clicked to download that game and was only given this simplistic 4-word category game. I thought, potentially the Venn diagram might be one part of the overall game so I gave it a shot and played the game. I managed to get to the #2 spot on the “weekly challenge” in less than 10 minutes of playing. I noticed that the #1 person would only “increase” their score when I did, which goes to show it’s a bot and not a genuine player list I’m being challenged against. I finally came onto WordConnect Store to look up this game to absolutely verify that it didn’t actually have a Venn diagram component and as soon as I finish writing this review, WordConnect is being deleted from my account, what a waste of time.

I saw an ad with words on hexes, that were moved around into a kind of a Venn diagram where some words applied to multiple topics. I played through level 4 and never saw that. It was simply “choose 4 words that go together” from column/row lists: real ex. breakfast, brunch, lunch, supper. Please do not use bait and switch ads.

Same complaint as others- not the game the ads advertised. Wanted the hexagon Venn Diagram. The game is way too simple and not at all what was advertised. Deleting now. I hate when the ads are misleading. Why not just be the game they show it is to get us download it?

Fun concept but I’m spending more time in ads than the actual game itself. Wish I could just breeze through 5 levels and then get an ad rather than every. Single. Level. Literally 25-30seconds of play and then an ad.

If you’re here because you saw the ad with the hexagons were they moved words into different categories, the game has none of that. It’s basically the same game as the NYT connections game, except way easier. The categories (with exact same words already started to repeat within the first 10 puzzles I played. There is also an ad shown after every turn. They also ask if you want to watch a second ad immediately after watching the ad if you want bonus awards. I spent more time watching ads than actually playing.

Note to the developer- fix your ad!! It doesn’t show the same game!!

i downloaded this game from an ad that looked somewhat interesting (the hexagon ad that other reviews have mentioned). WordConnect is a watered down version of nyt connections, but with no substance or challenge whatsoever. that’s not even mentioning the astronomical amount of ads. obviously the marketing worked on me and many others, but i doubt they have many users for longer than a day max. i lasted about five minutes. very disappointing.

I enjoy the game, however, I don’t enjoy how slow moving it is. After completing a level, the ‘BRAIN’ dances around telling you that that you completed the level and how to get double points! It just takes too long. Hopefully, it will get better as I progress through the game.

I downloaded this after watching its ad in another game. Maybe I haven’t progressed far enough, but it’s not like the ad I watched. Speaking of ads though, holy guacamole, does it have a lot! It takes me longer to watch the ad between each round than it does to complete the round. I’m deleting WordConnect.

This game would be fun if there weren’t SO MANY ADS!! There is literally an ad after every single level. It takes longer to tap through the ads (and all the game screens) than it does to play each level. Way too much time spent NOT playing the game. I understand the need for ads, but this is an excessive amount of non-game-playing time.

I spend more time watching the ads then playing the individual games. I understand the need for ads but lets have more game and less ads. Deleted and going back to my other games

There is an ad after every single level!!!! I played 20 levels and got bored. It only gives you 4 categories and some were already repeated. Just not very challenging to me.

I downloaded this game after getting an Instagram ad for it, but it’s not at all like the ad showed. The ad showed categories inside of hexagons and you had to move words around to surround the hexagon that described their connection. When you download though, it’s just a far easier version of NYT connections. I continued playing for a bit, thinking maybe I had to surpass first few levels to get what the ad showed, but I’m already at level 15 with no luck. Please do better at advertising your game correctly

Saw this game advertised with different columns that you are to choose the correct word that goes in the appropriate column. Not like that at all! For this game, you have to pick four words that go together. Another game that is not played how it’s advertised. Ugh

Very fun and a little challenging but it’s so frustrating to have to watch an ad after each play! I’ve kept it for one day and have decided to delete it! Not worth my time! Too many ads take the fun away!!

Needs larger levels and multiple answers to questions. Got one wrong because they put “michael jackson songs” and “usa cities” in the same level. Turns out they dont know “Chicago” is also a mj song.

Just started your game. I do enjoy the game but don’t think I will be playing. You always want your bots to win the game. The minute I start playing you cheat and have your bots play every time. If I am not playing then neither is your bot. Can’t hardly believe that person close to the lead is a real person and knows I am playing the minute I sign in. Absolutely no fun to play against your bots.

It is pretty good. Keep the mind going I 80 years old so it’s good for my short memory loss. Thank you.

I love that shows the mistake so you can correct it and learn!

Almost 12,000 points and still a “Beginner”?

Fun game, makes me think, I like it!
