Diffuse claims to give you one free trial video but every time I select it, it takes me straight to their subscription page. I am never going to subscribe to an app without having an opportunity to see if it's any good.

So with no trial you just pay and pray it works and it kinda does but the adds are misleading with the no limits as the first things I tried to have it draw it could not would not understand more than disappointed. Other apps are much better especially if you want to do stills and video.

I don’t care what any of these positive comments say, Diffuse is garbage. Instantly refunded. It doesn’t create anything you want or specify. The creations are horrible. They shouldn’t even have Diffuse on the store for sale. Don’t waste your time or money on Diffuse.

Advert literally states AI generator with no limits, when in reality there are many limits. Mildly fun tool to mess with at best, but there are free sources that do the same thing but far better if you go to a web browser AI generator instead. Video generation is only allowed with paid subscription, I would guess because I would definitely not be willing to pay for it once I saw the quality of the AI.

Misleading advertisements. No trial otherwise they would never trick people into spending money. Very poor app that has next to no features just generic face swap onto popular cringe tik tok dances. Has a text to video generator like every other generic app. I genuinely feel ripped off. The ads show a completely different product. The queue times are egregious. Just another soulless quick cash grab app made by uninspired greedy people. Big sad.

Not only is this not as advertised, it is very limited as to the actual applications it presents, but it takes hours and hours to render a single video. (If it actually works at all. I don’t know because my first two videos have been being created for the last 4 hours and I still haven’t seen the results) Since there is no demo, there is no way to see what you are paying for first. Don’t be dumb like I was and subscribe! DO NOT TRUST WHAT Diffuse SAYS IT DOES. IT DOES NOT!

I saw an add for Diffuse promising that you can create multiple videos for free I went and i downloaded it and is soon as I tried to generate a video Diffuse shoves a subscription plan in order for you to even see what you’ve made 👎🏻

Diffuse is essentially a cash grab from what I can tell. I was interested in the text-to-video feature. I tried several ways to make it work, but ultimately every time I pressed “generate” Diffuse told me there were inappropriate prompts. I asked for Mario performing Gangnam Style. I thought maybe it’s a copyrighted character and song so Diffuse won’t allow it, so let me try something else. I then asked for a napkin, flying in the wind. Still inappropriate. Then I just used a prompt that Diffuse itself provides and… still inappropriate. Didn’t even bother with the other features. Deleted my account. Now I’m writing this warning to you, dear reader.

Even free LLMs work much better than Diffuse. I have tried this and many other apps this was one of the worst in terms of the video content it generated based on prompt.

A note for experienced ai artists-
What is available are pre loaded TikTok dances. The features are all “either” / “or” uses. You could upload a video and restylize it, or create a video from text only. It’s a simplified interface for people with zero ai technical skills. It asks what skill level you have when you first start Diffuse but it seems pretty much irrelevant. You have far more power and control with free localized software like Diffex or ComfyUi. I’m already making better quality videos than this. I was hoping it would be a simplified version for me and would be willing to pay for that to optimize my work time, but this just isn’t that. If I could upload my own video and then prompt for what I want generated from it I might be more satisfied with the product, but you can only pick a premade style. I would recommend it to people who have never used ai software before only, but not to anyone else. Wish I had my money back.

Diffuse is extremely disappointing. The videos it generates are low quality, and the animations look unnatural and glitchy. The AI often distorts the photos instead of enhancing them. Overall, it’s a frustrating and useless app that fails to deliver on its promises. Avoid wasting your time and money on this.

Apps a scam avoid

Says there’s a free trial but instead of showing the video it asks me to pay! No trial no pay no way!

The ranged of content you can make is very limited, annoying to work with, and produces unimpressive AI art.

Everyone is right Diffuse is a scam please 1 star Diffuse because the more downloads Diffuse gets the more money these scammer receive

Ads say you can change the style of your video, add your face to video, and much more.

This is at best a viggle clone (from Temu)
With the equivalent of like sora 0.002 for text to video.

Won’t let you use it till you pay because they know no one will pay for it without being tricked into it.

Don’t download

Why even advertise this, completely useless unless you intend on wasting money. If you can’t demo for free then it isn’t even worth downloading.

Don’t waste your money it’s no good. They should offer a demo, but I’m guessing they know if they offer a demo that most people won’t mess with it. It should be free since there are so many words that it refuses to comply with. It’s just a scam

No demo means you have to pay upfront and once you realize what it is that you’ve paid for; it’s too late. They screwed you out of a years subscription. No way to get the money back. This is a total scam. Do not do business with these people, and this program is an absolute garbage. You have been warned.

Basically just robbed me of my money Diffuse doesn’t do what it advertised, straight up scam

Paid for subscription that does not match the adds absolute trash money sucking useless waste of app space.

I’ve had maybe 50 failed attempts and 5 that have worked. 1 was just a mess of body parts.

Two that worked I simply used “walking”

Very unreliable. After taking my money, Diffuse says I have the “free” subscription. Restore purchase, no subscription found. Not sure if that’s what’s preventing Diffuse from working correctly.

Went to Diffuse Store and canceled my subscription. Wouldn’t download again

I used a midget’s pic. Generated vid is a regular man. The face doesn’t look like the pic.

They advertised a free trial but I was immediately charged the annual rate. Reached out to apple and was given a refund after canceling my subscription. Haven’t renewed my subscription but I was just charged the monthly rate without renewing? This is a scam and should be avoided at all costs do not fall for this junk Diffuse doesn’t even work as advertised.

When making AI generated video it always adds some random artifacts that make the video look bad. All of video results I have produced with Diffuse were not good enough to use for anything.
Also there is a dislike video result button in a form of “Thumbs down”, when I click on it, it adds a dark transparent overlay layer and I can’t do anything with Diffuse at that point. Swiping and pressing doesn’t do anything so I always have to just shut Diffuse down at that point and restart it. It happens 100% of the time.

At the time of posting the only way you can “generate” is by paying a subscription after you share your email with them also you have to wait a seemingly random amount of time.

TLDR - use some other ai image generator.

What it done was pretty good. My project will consists of still images and motion video. So far I’m very pleased.

They might not realize it yet, but it’s really a diamond in the rough, too many cool features!
Text to video - i really liked the quality of the result
Animating pictures - I was amazed, really, almost cried after seeing my late grandma smile at me again
Tried the stories - that’s the coolest one, you become the character in short stories, and also you can create manifestation videos with yourself
They have some other features but really I got my money worth already. Loved it!

Very, very surprised that it actually came out so good just the first time trying it very very shot. It actually was very very amazing.

It allows to watch stories with yourself. Once you pay you can use it indefinitely - much better than credits model

Ok, this app is actually a fun use of AI and am hyped that it exists!!

It was super easy to upload my photo and make videos of me doing all sorts of stuff. The group chat is just us sharing ridiculous videos of us dancing to songs and seeing what we look like.

My favorite is definitely the personality videos like my dream vacay or past life. It’s actually fun to anticipate what it’ll come up with and it’s pretty different every time. Also I can just use this wherever I need to kill some time and it’s kinda fast.

I hope they keep updating with new stuff to try because it’s lowkey addicting for real
