I have used VoiceChanger for maybe about 3 times. Successfully. Each time I go on VoiceChanger it reads … oppps we are currently performing scheduled maintenance … this often last about 3 weeks. I just want my money back. The debit it monthly. I think they released VoiceChanger before getting out all the kinks. Good idea but the functionality of VoiceChanger is really bad

Downloaded app, app failed to open after introduction. Deleted after failure

On April 16, 2024 there was a free promotion to unlock lifetime premium access. App was working as expected. But today VoiceChanger doesn’t know who I am and there’s no restore purchase feature in VoiceChanger . The “report a problem” feature in VoiceChanger also does not work so I’m reporting the problem here. There’s nothing listed under my Apple subscriptions and I doubt they ever was despite on boarding through VoiceChanger and activating the free lifetime access and having used that for rare occasions over several months time. Definitely was not a trial but it was lifetime access unlocked with a very limited time promotion back in April. So how do I restore my access?

Developer seems to have gone silent on early adopters part of lifetime campaign. I would be very cautious about sending money to this developer.

Updates unfortunately haven’t fixed infinite loop or empty voice list issues, either. ‘Request help’ inside app also remains non-functional and emails unreturned.

I purchased VoiceChanger weeks ago, and every time I open it I’m prompted to restart so my account can be authorized. It continually loops the same message and after five emails to the support team, I’ve heard nothing. I’ve deleted VoiceChanger several times and reinstalled with no luck.

Don’t expect any response from support if something goes wrong!

There are zero voices one can use once paid the initial seven something with tax to subscribe. There’s an actual button to attempt cloning your own voice which does not work and will just tell you to try again later over and over unless you want to keep paying immediately after purchase still with no way to try anything out prior in any way whatsoever. Pathetic🙁

Update: So many problems! Where’s the tutorial some folks mention? None of my recordings will upload. Lifetime purchase clearly states I should have access to all premade voices, yet I can’t see or select any. The character used count fluctuates every time I start VoiceChanger . And finally, can’t submit these concerns through VoiceChanger /email. Downgrading to 1 star until these issues are fixed.

Tried on-boarding and cloning my voice. Over and over I got the message Something went wrong, please try again.

Then I went to the Report a Problem feature in VoiceChanger and tried to report my problem and that didn't work either.

I bought the lifetime subscription, but I had an issue with the character limit, so I tried uninstalling and reinstalling VoiceChanger , but now, it is stuck on detecting the subscription, so I am unable to get past the onboarding. I emailed app support, so I will update this review if it gets fixed. As of April 17, 2024, it is not working for me.

I got an opportunity to have a free lifetime subscription, but although I clicked it twice and it told me I now had the subscription, when I went to my account it said I had no subscription and tried to sell me one. I tried twice then deleted VoiceChanger and re-installed. This time when I opened it, it said I had a subscription and it was updating so I should re-start VoiceChanger . I re-started and it said I had a subscription and it was updating so I should restart VoiceChanger . After this circular issue occurred a few times, I wondered if this whole app was a simple prank.

I was able to generate one voice clip after the tutorial. After that, I was given a “something went wrong” message when I tried to generate another. Every time I opened VoiceChanger , I was prompted to subscribe again. Then, when I tried to generate, I was given the same message that “Something went wrong” every single time. My number of available characters fluctuates wildly between 19k and -15. The feature to report a problem in VoiceChanger doesn’t work either— I can tap “send” over and over and nothing happens.

I turned my phone off and back on again, to no avail.

I deleted and redownloaded VoiceChanger to see if that would help, and now after the tutorial I’m given a different message. This one says that a subscription has been detected and my account is being updated to reflect that, and to reopen VoiceChanger . But whether I close the message and wait, or close and reopen VoiceChanger , I just get that same message again and again. I think there was a support email address listed in the FAQ, but now I can’t even get past that initial message to get into the options and find it again. Nothing works.

After pressing the open button, VoiceChanger opens to a white screen with a logo and some random characters. Then nothing else happens. It seems to be frozen.

Even after the lifetime upgrade and 20k characters showing (19,772 now) VoiceChanger displays error and pressing back resets the available characters into negative, or it just keeps loading with the purple spinner…

VoiceChanger is incredibly slow and unstable. With longer text it will start generating and then each time it shows “something went wrong please try later” often the “famous” voices are not being populated at all and the whole list just stays empty..

I’m having a problem… after selecting the Lifetime option in the startup of VoiceChanger it allowed me to get the lifetime but when I went to look at the options it had different things for me to then buy. I went out of VoiceChanger and thought it would reset itself if I redownload it. So i deleted it and reinstalled it. Now when it starts up, after the initial splash screen, it says it has detected that I have had it before and to wait a moment then restart. I wait (up to 10 min), hit the restart button then the continue button then it starts over with the detection and to wait and then restart……over and over and over but never goes any further. Any help would be appreciated. Will give more stars when I can actually try it out.

I downloaded and subscribed. But it kept freezing so I deleted and reinstalled. Now it keeps saying Subscription Detected and says to restart and I can’t get into VoiceChanger

Don’t bother it always says “doesn’t work” or “something went wrong”
It’s very glitchy, and it is not user-friendly. I’m glad this was free. I never would’ve paid for it. Already deleted it.

I had high hopes for VoiceChanger, but it has fallen very short of all the positive things that have been written about it. I would have given VoiceChanger zero stars but that is not an option. If you are looking for an app that creates realistic audio, this is not VoiceChanger for you. It does however create mostly stiff “robotic” audio. There are no controls to make any much needed adjustments to tone, tempo, warmth or reality. The monthly character cap is also absurd since there is no way of hearing what will be created until you output what you have written. At which point you have wasted characters. I used over 10,000 characters trying to get VoiceChanger to give me an audio output that did not sound stiff or robotic. Which it never did. And there is the problem of words being mumbled or incoherent in the audio out put which is absurd. I even used additional editing programs to tighten up the audio trying to get it to sound more realistic and fluid. Anyone that claims VoiceChanger has saved them time, or that they use VoiceChanger in any amateur or professional way is either deaf or is not very good at what they claim to do. For those of you who are not sure what characters are, “characters” are everything you type which include letters, numbers, spaces, commas, periods, and anything else you type on your screen, including returns. If you do opt to purchase VoiceChanger because you do not care what your audio sounds like you can save yourself a few charters by not using periods at the end of your sentences. And don’t expect to hear back from the developers if you have any issues with their program. I have contacted the developer through their website several times over the past two weeks and still have not heard back from anyone. And trying to contact them through VoiceChanger does not work at all.

I got the lifetime Subscription activated, it keep telling me I don’t have enough characters and something went wrong.
Do y waste your time

I’m on an iPhone 15 Pro and VoiceChanger is taking many minutes to load from the initial startup screen. Once I’m finally able to get past that, the voices and features all say “Loading…”

VoiceChanger is not usable. can’t even comment on the quality of voices or creating my own AI voice because it’s stuck on loading.

1. asks to unlock features constantly each time I try to anything. 2. cannot write to report issues 3. does not generate cloned voice script (try again) 4. makes an Australian sound like a British Indian. 5. does not display text correctly when using iPad 9th gen 6. does not generate voice when selecting a famous person.

They give you a few characters to try out the voices. The voice changer models are pretty close to who they’re trying to model (I used the Ramsay voice), but there were some issues with the AI not being able to naturally phrase English and all the sentences I put in came out/jumbled rapidly without any natural pausing between them.

It may just be a particularly busy day for VoiceChanger, but it doesn’t retain my subscription info. It keeps reverting to non-subscriber mode, and I keep having to select ‘lifetime’ as if I was buying it again (but it doesn’t go through the purchasing process). I’m hoping it becomes usable again soon.

I got the lifetime one and I’m confused it showed like I had the lifetime subscription but then when I went to look at the other features of VoiceChanger it acted like I didn’t so I deleted VoiceChanger and reinstalled VoiceChanger and now I can’t even use it it just pops up with a message and keeps saying restart app. But it never restarted it just goes to the “continue” and says to restart and won’t go past that….

VoiceChanger is really fun and very easy to use, but the only downside is that it takes quite some time to load the voices. Overall it’s great.

developer but couldn't. I have some issues with VoiceChanger and questions that I couldn't convey to the developer. I hope they provide an email for communication. My main question is whether VoiceChanger will support Arabic language in voices soon or not.

I got a prompt to upgrade to a paid subscription very soon after I’d uploaded my 30 second clip of me talking, but from what I heard from this voice changer was impressive! Very lifelike and honestly a realistic cloning of my own voice - if I didn’t know any better I could make the honest mistake in thinking that it was indeed me speaking on the other end! Kinda creepy and a little scary but clearly a very powerful tool at hand within the AI components of VoiceChanger . Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for that type of feature in an easy to use, straight to the point and fast processing app.

I have a problem where my account has purchased a premium account but when I try it again the status is not declared as premium. I got a free premium account for a limited time and when I took it the offer time had not run out. Please help to solve the problem, thank you.

What a great Ai voice changer! I was shocked at the quality of VoiceChanger. From cloning voices to using celebrities voices, VoiceChanger highly meets its purpose! I have a blast using it and my niece gets a kick out of it too! Definitely try it out!

I have reported the issue by email several times, but have received no response. I have a lifetime subscription and the words I get every month are not reset. Even when I remove the voices that have already been created, they reappear. I am very, very upset. Two months have already passed like this. Please compensate me for 2 months and do something to get VoiceChanger working properly as soon as possible.
