I’m not sure exactly how it works, but there’s a ton of speculation that when you link your account it downloads all of your history and is used to hack you. I downloaded it for probably less than five minutes, and from the start it seemed wrong. Sure, it knew my “top” followers, but everything else seemed fake and randomly generated. Telling me that I spent 52 days out of the year on it, that three people blocked me in 2023, my male/female follower ratio… the numbers just didn’t add up. All I can say is, it seems fake, and I immediately changed my password after deleting it. It’s not worth your time to tell you that the people you most interact with are your best friends, and it certainly isn’t worth the theft of your data.

Do not download this app, everything in the app is made up, the people who’ve blocked you, your hours spent, the people who view your profile, etc. The top friends is just guessed based on your messaging data. If you log into wrapped it gives them access to your password but it also gives them access to:

Devices
Information about you
Liked Posts
Your Direct Messages
Searches & search history

Uploaded contacts

This is a third-party app that hacks your account and gives inaccurate results/info about your Instagram. I used it and got totally wrong details about my male/female follower percentage, top followers, etc. Also, when I first tried to log in, my info didn’t work the first two times. Then, i was suddenly allowed to connect my insta and see my info. I saw a TikTok that said the same stuff happened to them too. So DO NOT USE!! It’s just embarassing to fall for it 😭 Especially with the fact that the app already had a low rating.
