As I scan the page it’s not worth doing because basically the website is setting you up to buy the coins but not telling you how many episodes you get with the coins. On another hand the clips are short so you’ll be spending more money. Get that you have to make a profit but not at the cost of people to enjoy a show. The price need to known up front when buying coins and how many episodes you get with the bundle of coins. Honesty is the best policy.

Thea crazy seen it in an ad and thought it couldn’t hurt seeing how the story I seen in an ad ended they want $20 a week or you can fall for coin marketing you guys need way better content for me to pay that kind of money on something where the acting and story plot is cheesy and not even that good if you like soap operas like old women you’ll love it I just watched line 10 minutes of a story for free in an ad and then find out that the actual app is a weird ploy to make you feel like you can pay the $20 a week or do some coin earning then by the time you scroll to the point the ad on another app left off they want you to pay for it that’s weird you get the same acting level as content creators with a low budget these are just more polished

It’s annoying . I’m willing to watch ads but for a min episode u then have to watch an ad or pay . And u can only choose the ad option up until episode like 11 or 12 then you can only pay to continue. It’s a good enough plot that $5 for the whole thing id maybe pay but it’s like 9 something dollars for 1,000 coins and each one min episode is 50 cents . Plus every time u open ShortMax u also get more ads !!!!!

I recently downloaded ShortMax because it seemed like a fun way to enjoy stories. But I realized you needed coins to continue so I bought some but I would only make it through about 4 or 5 “episodes” before I would need to add more coins and they were not cheap. So I reached out to customer service because I was not satisfied with having to spend $20 every time I wanted to watch a few “episodes” and they told me that because “I already paid I would not get a refund for not being satisfied”. I normally do not leave reviews but this is bad customer service. A customer is not satisfied with your product and they do not even try to make it better. They just tell me they have my money now and there is nothing they can do.

I bought a top up for 1445 coins I was watching a story I was on episode 24 when it was time to switch to 25 it asked me to unlock the previous episode, which makes no sense since I was already watching episode 24 so that would make it unlocked when I looked at the calendar of episodes all the episodes were locked back to see if it was just a fluke as it scrolled through the episodes it took all my money for a second time I will not be buying another top up only for this scam of an app to take it again I enjoy watching the stories, but I do not enjoy being financially taking advantage of this is something that needs fixed. There is obviously a glitch in ShortMax .
I would appreciate it If you can help me recover my coins so I can finish the story I was watching however, if not, no love lost I will just uninstall ShortMax and move on with my life and watch drama box or one of the other apps.

TT gets you hooked to a story for it to cost 50 dollars to watch about an hours worth of episodes in ShortMax . Id probably pay to watch if I could just purchase the whole short story for 5-10 dollars but the fact that it’s almost a dollar a minute is outrageous. Id be fine with watching adds to progress also if you could watch more than 5 a day. The town I live in I could pay 5 dollars to see a movie in theaters that was just released and that is a way higher quality of content than these are. These shorts are not worth what they’re charging to watch them.

Had issues with my account signed out and tried to sign back in. No way to sign back in. I sent feedback and that was fixed but I had bought coins and they didn’t credit to my account. I have emailed numerous times any now no one will even email back. I have spent a lot of money on your site and it’s terrible customer service to not solve this issue.

Also buyer beware I bought coins to finish a series. I should have had enough left over to start another one. It took all the coins I had and I also had to email about that. I wouldn’t use the buy enough coins to finish the series. It’s a rip off. Had they fixed my coin issue and not taken my money I would have given a good review. As I am posting this still not resolved.

There are too many ads. You get to view 5 episodes daily; however you are required to view one ad before the episode and one ad after the episode. In addition, when you change stories, you must view an addition Al after the story and one before the next story. You spend more time watching the same ads over and over again than you open actually viewing an episode. All to often the ads will not terminate and will freeze the application. The only way to unfreeze the application is to turn my device off and then on to restart my device and ShortMax . This process is too time consuming, annoying and caused by many of the ads used by ShortMax . This is not an enjoyable viewing experience.

One series costs more than an entire season of a REAL, award winning show. Actors are amateurish & some of the segments are like 10 seconds long & there is overlap of the previous/next segment in every round. I watched ONE that I thought was interesting in the tease reel but I had to buy all the episodes I had already watched to figure out where I left off. Then the plot went NOWHERE for 50 episodes. It just kept dragging out the same idea with none of the plot points of a well written script (there’s an actual formula for screenwriting), the episodes kept getting shorter as the end neared & the it just ended. It wasn’t a cliff hanger, it was just a let down that I had to wasted so much time to get to the end & be like “who even cares?”

First of all, I saw this on Facebook and wanted to see the end of the story. I decided to get ShortMax and pay $9.99 but it only got me through less than half the story which I’d already seen before. It asked me for more money to see the rest. I’m so aggravated. I wasted $10 to see what I’d already seen and couldn’t see the rest of the story. By the time you’re done paying for a story, it costs more than a theater film. Also, when I first opened ShortMax , the first thing that came up was a sign in which I realized afterwards was not even for them. It was an ad for some other site. now I can’t even cancel it. It’s going to charge me $40 in three days and I can’t find any place to cancel it. This whole app is a scam. Don’t waste your money and I’m still trying to figure out how to cancel the other site I accidentally signed up for thinking it’s theirs since it was the first thing that popped up when I opened ShortMax . There’s no way to contact their customer service and they didn’t send an email welcoming me like they said they would. This is completely irritating. 😠

ShortMax is a waste of time. Realistically speaking if you didn’t want to spend any coins & just want to use the 10 free ads you’d finish the “short” story in a week.. which is not bad if each clip was necessary. Stories are dragged out & you can’t even skip episodes if you want. Don’t download it unless you’re rich.

I recently started watching a series on Facebook and was enjoying it enough to want to see the main character get her revenge, despite the mediocre acting. So, I decided to download ShortMax to continue watching. However, I quickly realized that ShortMax stops the story after chapter 10 and requires payment to access the remaining chapters, starting from chapter 6. The cost of 80 coins per chapter seemed quite steep to me, especially considering the high price of the coins themselves. While ShortMax does offer an option to watch ads to earn coins, the requirement of watching 5 ads for just one chapter seemed excessive, with each ad being around 30 seconds long.

The good thing, though, is that when you first sign up, they do give you a good amount of coins for completing tasks with your profile. I believe I got around 300 coins, but it still did not get me to where the ad left off. In my opinion, it didn't seem worth it, but I would suggest giving it a try if you're interested. I just wanted to share my experience and opinion on this.🤷‍♀️

So I started watching this on Facebook, which I’m sure is where most people find out about this! So you download ShortMax and there’s like 10 episodes to get to where you left off. They make you watch these ads that are like three times as long as the episode you get . But you can only watch so many a day so you can’t even get to where you left off on Facebook the same day.! I would have paid for coins to finish the series had it just had the episodes open already that we watched on Facebook. I feel like $20 a week is expensive! I probably would have bought $20 a month and been happy. Or paid $20 to just finish the one I started. But I was so frustrated with the length of ads verse the length of time for the Clips and trying to just get to where I left off that I gave up .

The acting is terrible but I was intrigued by the story so I watched the clip then it ended before the story finished and prompted me to download ShortMax to see the rest. I downloaded ShortMax but it put me all the way back to the beginning of the story and in order to proceed I had to unlock pieces of the story I’d already seen by either paying or watching ads….. I wasn’t opposed to watching ads however there is a limit to how many you can watch so even if I watched all the ads available I wouldn’t have been able to even unlock far enough to get to where I left off… so stupid. If I wanted to unlock all the previous sections of the story that I had already seen to get to where I left off I’d have to pay $20?!!…not happening immediately deleted this scam of an app.

The prices on ShortMax are absurd. To unlock one show in its entirety is 50 bucks. I recently bought 3 4D tickets to the new alien movie and it was cheaper than one show on ShortMax. The only “free” options it gives you are a max of 5 ads you can watch for one episode per ad. That’s before accounting for the fact that each “episode” is like a minute long.
Not only that, the shows are of such low quality. Bad acting, bad editing, even worse camerawork. It felt like watching theatre kids rehearsing their first stage show. I doubt there were any directors to these shows to make them even half decent. Honestly the only decent thing was the sound quality.
I’d rather rewatch the Avatar the Last Airbender live action movie on repeat for 24 hours straight than ever download ShortMax again. Trash app designed only to get you to spend money on coins.

I like your stories I think they’re intriguing despite how bad the acting is however, I will not get over your price point of $20 a week to have a subscription or $200 a year. I’m not gonna pay that for bad acting like Netflix is cheaper than you are and they have really good quality content. Your stories are interesting but they’re all pretty cliché at that. I feel like I could just hop on WEBTOON or Wattpad and get the same exact effect but for free stories and actually I think they make them intriguing but $20 a week A WEEK!??!?!? Girl that’s $80 a month what crack are you smoking to think that anyone’s gonna pay that for the quality of your content that you’re streaming not even to mention your ads oh my goodness how long your ads are that’s crazy y’all are crazy for this. I recommend waking up and coming back to reality and realizing the economy we live in if you ever wanna actually make money on your platform because I’d love to use it, but I’m not going to get scammed by you.

Never have I been hit with so many ads in my life. You want to open ShortMax ? Here’s an ad. Want to open a show? Here’s an ad. Want to go to the next episode? Ad. Don’t have the funds to watch the next episode? THREE ADS stacked on top of one another unskipable. Want to back out to the main menu? Ad. Got sent a message and you went away from ShortMax ? Ad. Just stupid ads everywhere anything you do will prompt a pop up and a ad. ANYTHING. I went to my settings and was given an ad for opening the settings. THE SETTINGS! You don’t get unlimited ads for the shows either there’s a daily limit and then you have to wait for the clock to reset to be able to view more ads that half the time are longer then the shows.

Not to mention the price if you want to PAY to watch shows. $20 a week $40 a month or just a cheap $200 a year!! That’s more then I spend for 4K Netflix for my household. And don’t get me started on coins. They’re a scam. The episodes for these shows are 50-80 coins and range from 1-4 minute of play time. And it’s $10 for 1000 coins. That wouldn’t even get me through 1/6th of one show. App is a waste of time do not recommend.

For a second there I was liking this and they give you free coin bonuses, but only a certain amount, I was watching the billionaire heiress, got up to episode 17 using the free coins. I was going to watch a new episode the next day because I ran out of coins, well I noticed the ones I already watched were locked again and so it was making me use my free coins to unlock those episodes again. So those free coins are pointless because you can only unlock a couple episodes without buying more and the fact that you come back the next day and have to unlock the same episodes that you watched already is a waste. I do not recommend unless you plan on spending a lot of money and if you don’t watch the episodes that day, you waste your coins and money because you have to unlock them again. I deleted ShortMax and will not download this ever again.

I paid $9.99 for 1500 coins and watched three 30 second episodes and was out of coins. I won’t fall for that again. You can keep your ridiculous app. I can see a first run movie at the cinema for less than the minute and a half I got to watch on this lousy app. I can’t believe I fell for this money trap. I’m warning YOU not to make the same huge mistake!!!!

Update: I requested a refund from Apple and I got it! ShortMax did remove my coins so I was in the negative. I can watch the ads to get back to a positive balance (I’m on my 3rd day). So I can see the end of this stupid shirt. Also, read the reviews of ShortMax they advertise. Those reviews are awful too.

Secret to watching the ads… watch all the way through until you see DONE. Press done. Wait for the >> or the X. It you don’t get an X, press the >> watch or play until the X appears. Then you can get your coins. The solitaire apps have really poor reviews. Just be careful.

Worst app I have ever downloaded. The storyline is dragged out so much it becomes annoying to watch. I actually wanted to just skip to the end but you can’t you have to purchase every single episode. it’s 50 coins to watch each episode and There’s 75 episodes. 1000 coins is $20. so they wanted you to pay over $40 to watch this crap. Yes one ad that you watch equals 50 coins but I rather not watch 75 ads to complete the story. Sorry not sorry.
I pay less than that to watch a movie that was just in theaters a week ago.. This is absolutely, laughable. Let’s not even talk about the fact that each story takes forever to load and sometimes ShortMax even freezes causing you to close ShortMax and reopen it in order to watch finish watching one episode.

Every episode is 1 minute long and costs 25 coins. They give you 30 coins per day. You can watch a 4 minute ad to get 25 extra coins. But even if you accumulate coins to watch a few episodes in a row, you still have to watch 3 minute ads between each 1 minute episode.
It doesn’t let you skip episodes or start in the middle of the series. Even if you’ve seen the first half of the series, you have to start at the beginning and waste your coins on episodes that you’ve already seen. So, if they caught your attention on Instagram, you will have to start that show at the very beginning and you won’t have enough coins to get to the spot that it cut off at on IG.
I’m ok with watching ads to use an app for free, but these ads are way too long for such short episodes. You should either make them worth triple the coins or triple the length of time of the episodes or something…

I wish I read the warnings about ShortMax. $15 won’t even get you half of a movie. ShortMax should be taken off.

I was almost finished with several shows and poof, I was started over on all of the episodes. Is there a point to that other than I become frustrated and buy coins in order to catch up? Also, there is no indication that buying coins will impact the amount of episodes because it’s not disclosed. It seems that the coins per episode vary. I should be able to jump to the episodes that I left off on, but I cannot. This malfunction needs to be adjusted.

Doesn’t worth it , they keep make purchasing coins and you will end much more more that you would spend if you actually watch the movie at a movie theater. This is a rip off .

I started watching it bc of Instagram and couldn’t stop watching the female janitor turn CEO. It cost me 30 bucks and still had to watch ads to finish the episode. Bad voiceover but I had to know what happened at the end…

I was so drawn into it. Even watched 10 ads to bypass to get credit to watch the episode. But once 10/10 ads credit, you can't watch unless you buy credits to watch the rest. This series or most have 100 episodes.

I get that the actors have to make money, but the production is average, the strories are interesting but it costs over 20 dollars to watch one story at 100+ three minute clips

I love the idea of this but the clips are extremely too short for the amount of coins and if you don’t wanna pay $10 to watch only 12 episodes at a time then you have to watch adds for free but only 5 at a time and then you have to wait another couple of hours so you can watch more adds to get more coins. If you made the clips longer I wouldn’t personally have a problem with it.

Reiterating what a lot of the lower ratings for ShortMax state. The ads are ridiculous. There are far too many and they are twice as long or longer than the “episodes” and you’re limited to 5 a day for freebies. Then you have to pay to top up coins and while it’s an okay price for some, for others it’s really expensive. There needs to be a monthly plan or something for ad free watching. It’s far too frustrating with the ads taking twice the time to watch and the repetitive freezing from AI app ads. There are no controls and the only way to reset it once frozen is exiting ShortMax entirely in which case you’ll be forced to watch yet another ad or it will repeat the last episode and charge you coins for something you already paid for. There is no view for how many coins each episode is costing you and the auto play for the next episode without knowing is pretty annoying.

I have tried 2 services now like this, but this one is very very expensive. It shouldn't be more than $20 to watch a whole short series- equivalent to renting a major movie (even that is expensive, but let’s agree it’s expensive to generate the content). I think I had to pay $30 and I wasn’t to the end. Agree with all the commentary that you have no in-app guidance on how you are burning down what you’ve paid for. I cut myself off as it doesn’t feel like an honest service. Agree also that the episodes are “conveniently” drawn out.

The cost to watch is ridiculous. Even with a 50% discount on coins. Spend $10 on 1000 coins but each episode costs 68 coins and are only 1 minute long about $1.50 per minute that’s $15 for 10 minutes. You don’t think that’s a bit outrageous??? I’d be satisfied with a monthly subscription. Or even a weekly like ‘Drama Box.’ Drama Box charges $20 a week for unlimited watches. That is still kinda pricey but I still pay it cause it’s reasonable. With you guys I pay $20 for up to 15 1 minute episodes. So I’m going to pass on this. Feels like a ripoff. Which from the reviews is the only problem you have. the shows are great, but not worth robbing my pockets.

Does not tell you how many coins you have left. each episode is only 2 min long max. And there are like 90 episodes. They make it so you can spend money! It makes you watch more ads than you should to unlock an episode. I spent over a week to finish one series. Not worth the money as the acting can be cringy. It will take time to finish the series as you only get 5 free videos but you have to watch ads.

I hate the new update the episode watch number has went from 8-15 to 5 it’s really just not worth it anymore. Plus there are to many episodes to only be able to watch 5 per day. It would also be great if the could raise the amount of bonuses you get in the bonus ads because the episodes cost like around 50 coins to unlock and you can only get 46 when watching the bonus ads so it could really be improved.

I love the stories but it freezes a lot and when I bought coins to unlock it skips episodes. Like I can watch 6 then will skip 7 and watch 8 then you confused to what happened before that. I don’t like that. If I am going to pay to get coins to unlock episodes I want to see all of them not just some. Spending 15 dollars was a waste of time since I only got to watch ever other. It’s shows they are unlocked but won’t let me watch them. Can you all please fix this problem.

I downloaded this after watching the long Facebook version, the button ask if you want to CONTINUE! I purchased the deal of coins for 1.99 I got 400 and linking my Facebook got 100 coins. Tell me why they start the story from the beginning and as you try to get back to where you left off they use all the coins! Then I used the option to watch five ads and still couldn’t get back to where I left off on Facebook so I’m now out of 1.99 and my time. This is a scam I don’t recommend ShortMax! They are making money keeping ppl on ads on fb for a longtime then bring you to ShortMax and making me pay for what I already saw. Gave 2 stars because the story was enough to draw me to the scam!

When I first started looking at this show I was like I need to finish it. So, I look at the coin's cost and they are kind of high compare to other apps that are like it. They don’t have an option to unlock all episodes for a 7 days for 20 or 30 dollars or even a coins price to unlock all episodes. When I receive my 300 coins to to watch 6 episodes of the show I wanted to watch bad I was only able to watch one episode each episode cost 50 coins. ShortMax spent it on 5 episodes that I already watch for free.

I’m not a huge fan of drama to begin with but these stories portray disfunctional people and relationships, abuse, and show a twisted version of “love” that is reminiscent of a telenovela. The subtitles are often incorrect. ShortMax will often not credit you for watching an ad to unlock the next chapter but take one of your 5 for the day.
The writing is awful. The characters are just so one dimensional that it hurts. 90% of these can be found online for free.
The clips are about 20% of the screen time with all the advertisements.
ShortMax is complete garbage and the developers should be ashamed of themselves.
I gave you a 2 star because ShortMax rarely lags.

I’ve tried watching a series I saw off of TikTok and the first thing you are greeted with is an insane amount of ads. The minute you load ShortMax you are hit with an add. Another thing is the price of unblocking an episode, how is a few seconds of a clip worth +50 coins to unlock. Even if you watch the adds to unlock more episodes it’s going to be super slow, the rewards aren’t even substantial. If you are lucky you get maybe two episodes from watching +10 ads.

The stories are good but it's disappointing that it's so expensive on top of that you pay for the coins to open up the stories and then after watching the stories they lock back up. If we pay for the coins and unlocked the stories they should remain unlocked and we should be able to watch them as many times as we like. Why are we paying so much and they don't stay unlocked? That ripping customers off. It's a shame I've spend so much money only to watch the story once. That's wrong and should be reimbursed. If I would have known I would have never paid so much. I'm very disappointed and I would recommend not purchasing and just continue to get free coins even though it take a while to build up enough to unlock. Waste of money.

The shorts are interesting. This is a good app if you have the money to continually spend on coins to unlock the episodes. ShortMax offers bonus coins to earn by watching ads. It will unlock maybe up to two episodes per day. However, for the past 3 days, it has only “unlocked” episodes I’ve already watched, and I cannot get any further in the stories. I’m not interested in spending a ton of money on shorts, so I’m thinking about deleting ShortMax . Which is too bad, because I was really interested in seeing how the short would end.

Ads on Facebook reels gives you so much more than it’s worth to download ShortMax . They have more than half the show on Facebook reels. You can’t select where you want to start watching, so if you want to start where Facebook ended- you can’t. Expect the ads you watch to be longer than the episode you just watched. I no longer get to watch an ad to see the next episode, I can only watch videos to earn coins- 25 coins per video. 80 coins per episode. 6 videos per day for earning coins. (Daily earnings total 150, with a bonus of 10 coins if all videos are watched so you can see your videos) I think after a couple days I was no longer able to watch the 5 videos to go to next episode almost since the beginning. Yes, there’s two ways to watch shows, but as I said before, I only have access to one of them.

Trying to binge one of the shows and already paid to unlock episodes. Now it’s not loading and not letting me click to the next episode. There are a lot of bugs. First off the episode before’s audio will play while trying to watch. It won’t let you click on the library to the next episode or slide. No matter if you close out ShortMax , restart your phone, turn WiFi and data both on and off, use only data… nothing. The bugs are driving me crazy… but I already paid $25 to unlock the episodes. Fix your bugs or give me my money back please. 🥺

ShortMax is great. The videos are great and entertaining BUT it’s too expensive. $20 for a week to have ad free is too much. Not even Netflix or other streaming services does week cost this expensive. They do it MONTHLY. That’s like $80 a month for ShortMax if you were to do a week subscription. At least let it be $20 a month. The expense on ShortMax will drive people away. Credits are too expensive to only get a little bit. The subtitles are off as well. The videos are too short which makes your credits go by fast. At least 3-5 minutes would be great. And once you run outta adds and credits, there’s no other way to get free coins unless you purchase or check in daily which the daily check in doesn’t give that much.

My opinion, the videos are entertaining. App is cool but it’s too expensive. They need to do better.

You’re telling me if I end up using all my coins I won’t be able to watch another 10 seconds episode for a week or two. Like what is that? No one seems the mention the terrible acting which honestly is fine the stories are still cute but the fact that we can’t even watch 2 episodes without spending all our coins. Makes you lose all interest in the story. I don’t know how people are getting by with this it’s actually annoying. So you can’t enjoy ShortMax unless you spend real money. Because you guys wanna make the price of the episodes 82 coins. Like not even 10 or 15 which is more reasonable but 82 then have the nerve to say $10 for 1000 coins when in reality that’s about 10-12 episodes outta a 90 episode story which like I said would be worth it if the episodes weren’t 5-10 secs long. I don’t i guess others like ShortMax but honestly I’d rather stick with “episode” it’s a kiddy app but at least it’s more reasonable than this

I downloaded ShortMax because I saw a tiktok ad on it and wanted to see how the stories went, they give u enough coins to get through the first couple of episodes but then you have to buy coins or watch ads which I already used them all up. Sure you get daily rewards but 85 coins for a 1:17 second video is annoying and I feel like it should be 10-15 coins. Not 85..

Each video is really short and the next video always plays a little bit of the last video. The price is expensive but when I’m bored I watch them anyway. I see clips on social media and then I decide to go a pay to watch the rest. I have noticed that many of the different apps like this one have the same actors and are the same story line. So you want to pay attention to ones you have already watched so you don’t buy the same story line on multiple sites.

It very nice, just a couple of things I’d like to see you do differently. 1. Make the dramas longer, like 8 minutes. 2. Can you also make it so that we can keep earning coins to keep watching? I currently listen to pocket FM and they make it easy to keep watching videos. They let you keep watching videos to earn coins but stop after you get like 100 coins, then you have to stop for an hour. After an hour you can watch more videos and build up your coins. I like watching dramas but if I can’t keep earning coins and they are only a minute long, it’s really not worth it.

I got ShortMax not too long ago and have really been enjoying the stories. BUT, the thing that gets to me is the price of the episodes and the limited chances to earn more coins. The episodes are 45secs-1min long and can cost as much as 60 coins for an episode. You also can’t check to see how much the episodes cost before you start watching. You only see the amount once you’ve run out of coins and ShortMax wants you to buy more. You do get the daily bonus of either 25 or 30 coins depending on the day you’re checking in, and there’s 6 chances to get an additional 25 coins each by watching the 6 ads/day. That comes out to about 3 episodes if they’re 50 coins each. And sometimes the ads are longer than the episodes. Again, the stories are great and i understand that they take money to film, but having to buy coins when you’re sucked into a show for a 45 sec episode is a bit much. I know the smaller packs aren’t unreasonably priced, but the amount of ads you get as you’re watching back to back is crazy, even with having coins available.

I think 20-25 coins per episode max across the board would be more reasonable considering that’s what you’d get from the opportunities to earn coins. 3 stars because i like the stories but am not made of money lol. At least let me see how much the episodes are before i get into it!!

The shows are good and some are awesome; however, ShortMax isn’t very user-friendly. Some examples of why it isn’t very user-friendly are, 1-there isn’t a clear button to add a show to your personal list, 2-the episodes open without you selecting to open them so you can see how many coins is needed per episode nor are you alerted when your coins are being used, 3- you aren’t aware of when you’re running out of coins because you have no control of when a locked episode will unlock while watching and 4-the TT app gives you a view of 10 epis which is great for deciding if you want to watch it on the Short app, but on ShortMax you are buying about 3 episodes that you have already been able to view which seems strange. You would think ShortMax should start unlocking with the 11th episode instead of the 6th or 7th episode. Though I get it takes money to produce the episodes, there should be some awareness indicator or step in place so viewers know when coins are being used or when a locked episode needs to be unlocked to give viewers the choice to use their coins or sample other shows at their leisure.

The pros are the 1-voice-overs are good translations to English, 2- there are a lot of shows to select from to watch, 3-the prices for coin packages is reasonably inexpensive for the smaller packages.

Got suckered in with an ad on TikTok and it showed more of the show than what you saw in ShortMax . I had to waste a few days of earned coins to get past what I watched. Every time you leave ShortMax or on it for a few minutes, an ad pops up. Sometimes it restarts itself and “double rewards” doesn’t mean double. You get 175 coins daily that only cover 2 episodes since each episode is 80 coins. You get 5 extra episodes with an ed each but ads may freeze and you lose it or the show stops offering the extra 5. No incentives to earn more coins only discounts to pay for more like other apps or $20/week for unlimited. Very disappointing and frustrating, esp since there are similar apps that are not this ad infested. FYI, the storylines are the same and across apps they share scripts since I’ve seen some shows with different actors.

It’s okay ig just have to watch alot of ads in order to watch the vids. Also it’s quite expensive when it comes to buying coins to watch.

I don’t mind watching a commercial to watch a chapter that would be a fair trade, if the clip was the same length. but the cost isnt equal to that. Chapters cost 84 points and you only gain six from watching one commercial. I understand you want us to buy chapters, but for the price you charge I could buy a whole book. And every so often an extra add will play through and that won’t give points and then I’ll have to watch another to get the points. I like this for the most part. The stories are pretty good so please if we do have to watch ads, fix the point scale cuz it’s way off.

The story consist of short clips less than three minutes each- which involve watching many of them. It can be extremely expensive to watch one whole movie. For the price of watching clips you could purchase Hulu or Viki or even iqIyl and watch many whole movies. I feel they are better options for watching movies then this due to the pricing.

I like this site very entertaining but also extremely expensive for someone on a budget so I have to check in to build up points but I hate not being able to at least get through a couple of chapters or scenes before I have to pay for another. I don’t like the fact that when you first start on the preview it starts at the beginning and ask you if you want to continue subscribe and when you subscribe it makes you pay for the scenes you’ve already watched so you just wasted time and money and now you’re out of points and have to wait until you get them up again it’s exhausting I’m considering cutting my loss and deleting ShortMax altogether once I’m done with the one I’m on. Don’t get me wrong it’s very entertaining and leave you wanting more but it’s just not for me.

I am currently watching 7 different dramas at once because you only get 5 free episodes a day watching ads in between each 1 1/2 min episode. I really wish you had a subscription fee. 3 other platforms shorts that I watch have a weekly subscription ; ReelShort; DramaBox; and SnackShort! I would stick with them permanently but I an already interested in the shorts you have. This really should be an update. The coins are far too expensive to pay for and I won’t do it. I would definitely give 5 stars if you just had a better way to watch the dramas.

I can’t even believe I’m watching this show on here the acting is awful 😂 but the story is excellent so I keep watching. I don’t like that the shows cost so much to watch. I’ve started just using the free episodes/commercial views to watch because my show has 90 episodes and at 60 coins per 1.5 min episode it’s not at all affordable it’s more expensive than my regular cable subscription. Also ads are sometimes just as long or longer than actual show episodes.

I don’t like how you have to have so many bonus to continue the story and have to watch ads to just continue I think it should have less and be able to watch the story without mall of that

Amazing app great story line. Would give it 5 stars but I’ve had a couple times where I was half way in unlocking and watching episodes. When the next day I was bumped back episode 1 and all other episodes including the ones I unlocked were now locked again. Other than that it’s an amazing app.

I enjoyed the story line. The acting was really horrible and over done. My biggest problem is they stay on the issues too long. The story I was watching the entire story line they were calling this one person a fake. She had already disclosed who she was we are getting to the end of the episode and we are still here. Move on Already!!! The really big problem is the coins or episodes are so expensive to watch. They only give you 5 episodes a day to watch free. I will finish this story line but will not continue to watch. Every it’s a cliff hanger and it takes to long to finish these short episodes because they want you to purchase money. Example I have 11 episodes left which will be a little over 5 minutes they want me to pay $9.99. That’s too much!!

Worth watching the adds for the short clips. Wish they had more options to win free coins instead of having to purchase them. I’ll keep being patient and watch 10-13 episodes a day til I complete a series, I just don’t have the extra cash nor can I justify spending money for coins to watch the 2 shows I’m even interested in.

The stories are great and really pull you in to watch it but the clips are like one minute and a few seconds long. And you have to pay to watch “episodes” (they are usually 1:26 long or less) or you have to watch ads (60seconds)for 5-8 coins to collect bonus coins to watch them and each episode cost like 85-90 coins. But the stories are so interesting it just keeps you wanting to watch more so it’s worth watching the ads.

I think it is very entertaining and has a lot of different things you can watch, the only thing I don’t like is that you have to watch an add to keep watching things unless you pay money and I feel that nobody really wants to spend money on a app just to watch a short story. You can watch up to 5 adds everyday and you can continue to watch your story but I feel that gets annoying sometime because it leaves you on a cliff hanger sometimes, but it give you something to look forward to every day. So I recommend if you want a short story to get interested in, but you do have to watch some ads or pay to continue to watch your story.

So I really do like ShortMax , but my problem is that when they give you bonus coins, they only give you enough to wear. There’s only two episodes that you could watch in certain ones on top of that. The ads are ridiculously long like some of the ads are longer than the episodes. I think they can fix that because there should be no reason to why there are ads longer than the episodes like I don’t want a 45 second episode and then a minute and a half add to watch the next 45 second episode to then lead to another really long ad. That’s kind of annoying. Everything is literally great now don’t get me wrong. Don’t expect for the acting to be the best because it is you know shorts and it’s not meant to be like really good actors and stuff like that but other than that, I really do like that app and I’m invested in most of the things so yeah.

The only thing I dislike is that the videos are super short and you have to pay for the good stuff-I would watch all the ads to earn another clip, but unfortunately you are limited. The stories are great though! They really get me hooked. Also, I’m sad that there’s not a way to bundle a whole film instead of buying certain amounts of coins; it can feel like a slight rip-off for some.

I like that you can earn the coins to unlock episodes for free. Most others just force you to buy in order to watch.
That being said you do earn coins slowly so be prepared to only watch 5-7 episodes for free each day. If you’re patient enough to be ok with that then you are good to go.
I would gladly update my review to 5 stars if an update in the future makes unlocking episodes for free faster.

Some of the stories are really awesome and I really enjoy The plot lines in the ones I’ve seen. Although the only thing that would improve ShortMax would be some more coins per video watched A little increase in the bonus points. When I saw the prices for the amount of coins you receive it had me a bit surprised with The amount it costs which was higher than I thought it would be. Other than that it is a good app for those who have breaks of free time in short increments

I love all the little cheesy short “shows” but this whole ad thing, where you get only 5 times to watch the video and then after that you have to pay? It’s dumb.. it’s obvious that they are trying to get you hooked so you spend money because you want to watch the “show” more but I think you should at least do more then 5 eps when the eps are only a few mins long? I honestly love short stories and the acting is pretty good but I think the ads are a little too long and I understand why ShortMax uses them but it cost so much money to watch an actual episodes worth and it’s kind of disappointing y’all should fix it.

I love ShortMax ! The stories are like mini movies the only thing I hate is that after a certain number of videos you have to either pay money for coins or watch 10 ads to unlock 10 more videos after the 10 unlocked videos you have to pay or wait until it resets for the next day !

For low quality acting, these aren’t bad. They overall have good stories too; plus the bonuses with the daily uses aren’t bad either. Much better than some other apps I’ve used.

The shorts are only one minute long but cost you 30 coins. I hate having to unlock every episode. Please look into just purchasing the series ad a flat price and lower the cost of coins

I’m enjoying the short films from ShortMax , but I do feel that the coins should be able to unlock at least three episodes before going to the ads. Also, some of the episodes are extremely shorter than others. I would also like to recommend some more Japanese film that are dubbed in other languages because the English captions are somewhat hard to read because of how fast the person is talking. Looking forward to seeing more shows and other ways to unlock future episodes by other ways.

I feel like the story should be 5mib long at least and maybe have a lil more closure in the stories on the days instead of skipping months ahead even if has more chapters hard to follow sometimes

This apps misleading. It’s reals you in & gets you into a story only to cut it off making it unable to be watched unless you purchase coins.
I bought the weekly subscription thinking I could finish watching the show that I’d started but that was false advertisement as well. It says that you can watch as many shows as you want with the subscription but clearly I missed something along the way bc I couldn’t watch anything.
Then I bought a coin pack so I could go watch some more of the show I had started & when I was trying to navigate my way back to that show ShortMax started to play a different show & “Poof!!” My entire coin pack was gone within 5min & I hadn’t seen any of the show I’d ordered them for in the first place. It’s really irritating how short the clips are once there are enough coins to watch the next clip it’s literally no longer then a minute or two tops. Such a waste of time & money!!

It good! But it make you watch episodes you do not want to watch and you cannot take it off. And it says you could watch five episodes or eclipse, but you only watch really three cause they watch make you watch a lot of commercials.. don’t get me wrong because the graphic and the pictures are perfect in the stories. Keep you hanging on. For more. Have a crazy ending. Like it’s going to be more or a part two. I haven’t seen no part two.. that make me sad! Very concerned about that part. But enjoy.

I downloaded this thing about three months ago and have been hooked to this one story. I’ve been listening to when I tell you they are one of the best things I’ve ever watched I promise you you will not regret watching them you will get hooked onto it, and fall in love with the story. This is one of the best apps to watch any audio on and I think it is perfect if you like drama stories.

The creators have done an outstanding job in crafting a beautifully diverse cast that resonates with users from all backgrounds. One aspect that particularly impressed me is how ShortMax seamlessly incorporates English subtitles while characters speak in a different language.

I love the story’s just wish they was a longer. The coins you use to be able to watch them I think are a little much for how long the story’s are. 1 coin/minute I think really would be great. Then I wouldn’t really have a problem with how short the story’s are. But for only 1 minute and a few seconds for I think it’s 5 coins is a little much. Yes you get 10 free adds to keep watching thank goodness. Because I wouldn’t have kept ShortMax if it wasn’t for that. But I truly do think the makers should really lower the coins to watch.

P.S. yes ShortMax is free and so is the story’s. You can purchase more coins if you would like. The reason I gave 3 stars is mainly because of how many coins you have to use to watch the 1 minute video.

Very fascinating with mini drama shows there are different types of shows to meet each genre which is really good! What I like about this is that is free. It kind of reminds me of the child like game episode. you just watched the episodes and when you run out you use your coins

This is the only app that I could find that lets you watch any episodes for free, so I was very happy to find it. The videos are interesting, romantic, and have action in them too. You'll be pleased to download ShortMax if you like watching short videos online.

I don’t like that when you go in to watch after you have been off to collect points so you can keep watching. You start with the last one you watched over again and waist points. Flustering.

It’s pretty fun watching the little video stories! I usually don’t do reviews but thought I’d do this one…I only have a few things to say I wish was changed. I wish there was a way to finish reading the descriptions to the stories! I’ve tried clicking a few different ways to see if it allows them to finish the description but it doesn’t. And the other thing is I wish there were more fantasy stories! The have a few alpha (wolves) ones. I’d like more Fae and vampire stories as well as more alpha stories! Acting is tolerable…I’ve seen way worse in B movies from the 70s/80s 😂 I really love this and hope more people enjoy as well. I’m a broke woman so I don’t pay for anything, I just have to wait longer for ads to watch

ShortMax has every story I would want to read but now I can watch. I like the fact that they are the usual story to read and would want to read but it is good to now see what they would look like. But I want to find a story that had a one night stand and the man want to be involved and is a secret millionaire and the problem would be the stepmother trying to separated them that a story I would love to see

Like the ShortTV but doesn’t like I have to wait 24 hours before reading the story. We started out been able to see 20 episodes free with the ads now you only get 5. The down fall to ShortMax is you don’t get a lot of reward points.

I love how well the stories are written on ShortMax, you can tell that a lot of the authors are taking their time and really putting their creativity to work and making us practically believe and live in the story as if we are the main characters
