Cozy Couples: Relationship App Reviews

CozyCouples is so cute. It’s quite simple, but that’s just the beauty of it. Just seeing the little home and hearing the music makes me feel like I’m with my sweetheart. The games are really fun, and they’ve helped me and my S/O find out more about each other. Stars are hard to earn and a tad inconsistent at times, and I would recommend more ways to earn them. However, it’s not too excessive like many games. I love the diary, letter, and photo options, however I do feel that the long term memory should be a one time fee instead of yearly, since that defeats the point of CozyCouples to make users subscribe for their memories. Just a suggestion! But I do really love CozyCouples . It has been a nice addition to the romance and sweetness of my relationship. I would love to see a “customize cat” option though, that would be cool!

One question. Will you be adding more games and quizzes? There are only a few on there and we are bound to run out at some point. I am curious if there will be additions! Also, a cool idea I have is that you could let couples create their own quizzes! I think it would add to the theme of your app. Anywhoodles! This is a wonderful app and I love the whole idea. It’s been great for me and my S/O, and I hope there will be more additions in the future. Adios lovebirds!!! 😊

My partner and I love CozyCouples so much. It has helped us reconnect and stay connected during a strenuous time in our relationship. We love being able to see each other’s moods, write notes, and answer the diary prompts throughout the day whenever we’re apart. The mood lights especially have been really helpful for us staying connected whenever we’re spending a long time apart due to work or travel. My partner and I love to discuss our diary answers more in depth at home every night and it’s really brought us closer together. Our only request is if games could be replay-able! We played one game “Showing love” and it was really fun to see each others answers! However, it would be cool if we could replay the game to see how our answers change over time. We haven’t started any new games out of fear we’ll play them all and run out of games to play since it looks like you can only play them once! Especially since most games are for the paid version only it would be nice if the free games were able to be replayed. Overall thank you we are so grateful for CozyCouples!

My fiancée and I love CozyCouples and have used it everyday since we downloaded. I would suggest a few things however, like adding more moods. I have issues with depression and that unfortunately isn’t an option to show. Also ‘anxious’ would be a good one to add. Another issue is there doesn’t seem to be much customization available. For instance more pets would be nice, not everyone is a cat or dog person. We have two lizards and a tank of fish in real life and it’s sad we can’t reflect that in our couples app. Please consider expanding the pet selections to include more exotic options. The thing I’d like to customize most though is how dark CozyCouples is, it’s always night and everything is a depressing dark theme. I’m a daytime person, I’d love the option to make it daytime instead of night and be able to buy lighter furniture and wallpaper for our house. Or perhaps a day and night cycle based on our time zone. Otherwise we enjoy CozyCouples and the activities. Looking forward to seeing how CozyCouples grows from here as well! This has enhanced my relationship with my husband far more than I could’ve anticipated. I initially downloaded it because he travels frequently for work. But (to my surprise) we’ve both stayed consistent about using it even when we’re both home. It checks several boxes for us as a neurodiverse couple in particular: gamification aspect helps us stay engaged with CozyCouples , the diary prompts help us express ourselves more effectively, the mood lights facilitate communication of our inner worlds to each other, quizzes offer us a fun way to learn/recall important information about one another, etc. Beyond helping our relationship, we find ourselves generally feeling happier through use of CozyCouples . For more constructive feedback: we are definitely looking for to more games and quizzes! Perhaps you could add something scrabble-like or checkers adjacent? Or maybe quizzes on topics like family and coping strategies.

I’m excited to see this is a fairly new app, because I love the concept very much. My partner and I are both Neurodivergent and a lot of the other couple apps can get stale. It’s mostly just questions back and forth, and sometimes that can feel too heavy. This is a lovely casual and cute way to connect, and it kind of appeals to us being Gamers.

Very much hope and look forward to seeing just more out of CozyCouples . I would give it more stars, but there’s not too much accessible at the moment. I hope to see more decoration options that vary in “price” ranges so there’s at least a couple options on the lower end. There also doesn’t seem to be a lot in the games category, but I imagine that will also expand. It would also be great to offer collar options for the cat, or even different types of cats you can change to.

Will very much be enjoying the free version for now and exploring what is available, but if CozyCouples is able to expand in the future I would subscribe in a heartbeat. It’s way cheaper and more engaging than some other apps I’ve looked into!

The only item you pay for in CozyCouples is the plus membership, but even without it you still get a great amount of things you can do! Most apps have a lot of activities locked behind a paywall and can be very annoying especially for long distance couples who have some restrictions. CozyCouples is just lovely even without unlocking everything, me and my boyfriend can decorate the layout, take care of our pet, take care of our plant, write in the diary, and send notes to each other while we are busy or away. It’s perfect because we have different time zones as big as an 8 hour difference and the new Affection feature brings us more joy as we love to express how much we miss one another!! ❤️

Also, suggestion :) maybe add a feature like reminders or something like that! Where we can remind each other about in life things like “don’t forget to study”

My partner and I absolutely love CozyCouples! We really enjoy the prompts from the diary, sending affection as lil reminders, being able to communicate how we feel in a moment even when we can't have a conversation about it, and committing to taking care of our pet and plant. It is a little frustrating that you've gotta have the plus edition to look back on old pictures/diary entries, we had found looking back on those really reassuring and helpful for self-sufficency in our medium distance relationship. The range of emotion is good but I agree it could be bigger! I also do agree with others that decor is a bit expensive to build up to, could be a lil demotivating, but I think the inclusion of more decor or maybe even more space to decorate including other objectives to tackle together may help? There just needs to be a bit more to do. But otherwise its a great app and we enjoy using it, it helps us feel and stay connected despite being miles apart. We'd just like to see some more and are excited to see what else there is to come!

My partner found this game and sent it to me, and we immediately got hooked. We’re long distance, so this is a fun little way to connect. I love all the prompts because there’s plenty of questions we’ve never even thought of. My only fear is because CozyCouples has limited options, what will happen once we’ve gone through everything?

I would love to see CozyCouples expand more, with more games, ability to move the furniture around, expand the home into more rooms, etc. If the cat could move around like walking on the floor, and the option to have multiple pets, it would really enhance the feeling of a real home. Maybe a window outside, a fireplace crackling. Holiday decorations (a Christmas tree, Halloween, Valentine’s?). More music, maybe an option we can add our own custom music?

Overall, love this game, and I’m gonna recommend it to my friends!

Doing anything in CozyCouples is expensive (app money expensive, this case the “currency” is stars) Takes so many stars to redecorate or play games, which is fairly easy to get, but takes time to get. Decorating is pointless and that’s what I was most excited for. extremely expensive in stars for changing anything, as simple as changing a picture frame shape can take 250 stars for the cheapest option, which will take 2 days to earn? And that’s just a picture frame shape, imagine anything else. Games is very quick and expensive in stars as well. Wish I can pet the cat more often, or maybe change the cat to a different pet would be nice. Me and my bf went through everything there is to do in this game in maybe 3 minutes…. And there’s a time limit on when to do things next. Petting the cat or taking care of the plant takes multiple hours, basically overnight, to replenish. Other then that, great idea, loved the concept, but Definitely not worth $30 a year for the subscription.

CozyCouples truly lives up to its name, and it’s been so gratifying to be able to save up points and obtain different items throughout the time my boyfriend and I have been using it. It feels like a testament to how long we’ve been dating and how much we care for each other to see everything we’ve saved our stars up to buy and all the pictures and diary entries we’ve accumulated. It’s also great for checking in when we have to spend time apart, and reading his answers to the diary entries always makes me smile. I do wish that our diary entries and pictures older than two weeks weren’t hidden behind a paywall, but I understand the developer needs to make money somehow and I appreciate the thought and care put into CozyCouples regardless. I’m always excited to see what new features and customizations are rolling out, I love CozyCouples!

I love this game I’ve been active with a streak of over 100 with my boyfriend and we both love it! We laugh at the pixel games and doing the small quizzes helps us understand each other more. I love the ideas of the diary though somethings seem repetitive. I also wish there were a few more moods! Such as upset, exhausted, unwell, sick, there’s quite a lot for happy and lovely moods but I wish there were a few more other feelings wise as someone with bad depression and anxiety sometimes it’s hard to put my feelings into words and so we use the mood lighting to help each other understand how we feel but I sometimes have a hard time picking a feeling in CozyCouples as i feel it doesn’t quite fit what I feel! Overall k love the game and I know it’s still updating so there is still hope! Amazing game <3

My boyfriend and I have struggled with communicating with each other, especially emotions. I saw an ad for this game and I thought maybe it would help us! I love couple apps that aren't just asking questions about each other. The options in CozyCouples make it so much fun to use and let's me know how my partner is feeling and whenever he does something!

A few things I'd love to see in the future:
•Pet customization! Instead of just a cat, there could be different types of pets and colors/breeds for pets too!
•More activities: maybe there could be ways to explore outside the home and earn stars, like a backyard with a garden and maybe a grill with trivia about the kinds of food you like, favorite places to eat, etc. There could also be stars/constellations to give wisdom and advice for couples everyday too!
•Balance: the cooldown for a lot of things takes a long time, especially when it comes to petting our cat and feeding both the cat and plant. The way to earn stars is also a bit slow, there is so many things to unlock and customize that it will take a long time to do (which could be a good and bad thing).

Loving this game so far, my boyfriend is really into it as well!! If you want some more ideas for your game or would like to ask morr about the ones I've stated, I would love to give more input 💕

I love CozyCouples so much. Me and my partner have been dating for about a year and a half, and ever since downloading CozyCouples, I feel as though we’ve grown closer. I am autistic, and CozyCouples really helps me process some emotions they might be feeling, so I can work with them. I also love the diary feature, it updates everyday and asks you and your partner a question, and this feature I feel helps me understand how we feel/think about different things so we can better communicate and work with one another. I also love that both people are gender neutral, because my partner is genderfluid, it allows them to always feel comfortable in CozyCouples . CozyCouples has become my safe place, and I genuinely cannot express how much I love CozyCouples and how much it helps me. 100% Recommend!!!!!!!!!

Me and my woman’s didn’t have many activity to do together she very far away and we don’t like to do a lot of the same stuff she likes watching shows and thinkings like that and I am more of a gamer we try to do each other's hobbies but it’s hard with the distance my ps4 broke and our phones are off rn due to funds so us being able to screen share shows hasn’t really worked with internet so being able to have CozyCouples Which I found of Instagram was a great way to revitalize our relationship and I’m glad that most of the things in it are free most purchased are cosmetic and all things are unlock able by spending time using CozyCouples I am very satisfied and glad I get to have something to do with my partner

This is a great game for couples to learn about each other and share connection when apart. We play this even while working from home because the daily questions help us express things that would otherwise go unsaid. Also, we both look forward to the pixel drawing every day!

If I were going to change anything it would be adding more clickable items and customization elements. Allowing the user to see what a customization will look like before purchasing. It would also be really nice if the background showed the time of day, i.e. day vs night rather than always night. Ultimately the only thing I want is for CozyCouples to continue to expand because I really enjoy it.

I truly love CozyCouples, I go on it every night to help calm myself down before bed and really think about how amazing my husband is and our marriage. It really makes me feel more grateful for him 🥰
I have recommended to friends at this point as well because I really love CozyCouples so much. It is not only great with that unintentional mindfulness it gives me at night but I also just love the games and trivia we can play together. It gives me something to look forward to during the day.

I truly hope the developers continue to grow CozyCouples and give us more games, decorating options, and more things to do in app. This game has so much potential and I truly hope it keeps growing 🌱🩷

CozyCouples has great potential and me and my partner love to use it when we can’t see eachother and it’s very cute. The only thing that needs improvement is the customization. There’s very little to make the Cozy Couples home your own shared home. All the different options are extremely expensive given they provide very little customization. CozyCouples would receive a full 5 starts if it had more unique customization to really build your own home with your partner because it never feels like our own.

For examples of what I’m thinking:
Different pets in terms of animals and breeds of cats, dogs, etc. Different house colors/themes that you can purchase and apply. The map can be a pinboard of locations you visited together. The picture frame can hold a real picture of the couple. The more customization the better.

I honestly think this is a great app! There are many features that connect you with your partner and allow you both to know each other emotionally. I do have a few suggestions though, even with premium we are unable to do much about the way CozyCouples looks, decorating it as if it were really our own. My partner and I are more dog people than cats (small thing I know lol) and it would be much better if we could have that instead. Also , with the photos I feel as if we should be able to pin our favorite photo to the main page in the picture frame. That way it can feel more personal seeing our own pictures on the front page. Lastly , I see that even with premium you can only send the affection every 5 hours? I feel as if that should be changed as well.

We used to use CozyCouples every day. We bought every single trivia. First off it doesn't make sense that we can't see the other options we had to choose from after we answered each question. Second it doesn't make sense to need premium to view quizes we bought and completed already. I'm just very upset at the fact that everything is tailored around premium. It's not even worth 30 dollars a year because there's nothing to do. Then the streak gets lost even if you at least opened CozyCouples it's crazy we had a 57 day streak lost all because I forgot to do something but I opened CozyCouples like 3 times that day. I want to continue to like this I really do but I am angered by the fact that everything is held behind a subscription service. We were waiting for new quizes and the two that get added are both for premium and our subscription ended the day before.

It’s our second day using CozyCouples and it’s very cute. I love sending him messages and he loves playing the games. The only thing I would change is adding more customization. My fiancé and I hate cats and we would love it if there was a bird option since we currently have an Eclectus or at least a dog option lol. Other than that, great concept. I really think displaying moods through the lights is a nice touch. I would like it if eventually the house expanded and there were more rooms and activities. It’s my second day so maybe it does that but so far so good. Also, the music options are great and the options to leave love notes is so cute especially since we both work and have different schedules. Thanks for making a great app! Looking forward to more updates. :)

The reviews saying it takes time earning everything are very right! But in my opinion, that’s all the fun! It gives you all the more reason to communicate with each other! Me and my boyfriend are going to use this while we’re at work especially to help with communication and helping each other get through tough days. I absolutely love CozyCouples and I’m so thankful I found it! I definitely recommend it to people who want to keep up with their partners throughout the day and just need something fun to do with them! You can earn new furniture, take care of the cat, care for the plant and leave notes! You can even tell each other the mood you’re in! There’s even mini games you can have. I instantly paid for the plus feature because it comes with a free trial plus only $30 for a whole year but it isn’t necessary it just unlocked infinite notes and pictures plus extra furniture! Love and definitely can’t stress enough how much I think all couples should have this!

Just to make this short and sweet, CozyCouples offers SO much for FREE and I couldn’t be more thankful for it. It makes my connection with my partner stronger in so many ways, allowing me to get to know more things that I didn’t before and express my heart on topics that wouldn’t be shared otherwise. If you are in a committed relationship and don’t mind writing and spending some time for each other, CozyCouples is hands down the absolute best one to get on the entire App Store. It has so many amazing features that will keep you hooked every day. Thank you to the creator(s) for all that you do and the time and consideration it took you to make CozyCouples, it is truly amazing and has allowed a change in my life, for the better.

My friend recommended CozyCouples for my boyfriend and I, and to be honest, im so happy i took his advice. Every single detail about this game is well executed, designed, and thought out. I loved CozyCouples so much I ended up buying the premium after 2 days! The diary and notes are definitely my favorite features to use. I’m excited to see what other kinds of games the dev decides to add because everything about this gives me high hopes.

Some recommendations/ideas: 1) being able to redo trivia games. 2) maybe some sort of co op drawings? Like a whiteboard or chalkboard to put in your home that you can edit whenever. 3) some more pet options (fish, lizards, rats, hamsters, etc) 4) maybe some sort of avatar that you can design? 5) more music options (don’t get me wrong, all of the available ones are SO cute) 6) being able to change the color and not just the design of objects!

TLDR: awesome app with a promising future!

this is a really lovely little app and it really is so cute and so sweet! my boyfriend and i recently had to go long-distance and this has been a really sweet and welcome addition to our routine! would recommend even for couples who aren’t long distance; the daily diary prompts are a really great tool for building more connection and spark great conversations about what you love about your partner and your relationship. my partner is not a phone game guy at all and he loves this too, it’s not game-y but offers a little virtual home for a LDR complete with a pet and plant to care for together, virtual photo album, and background music.

the only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because i wish there were more activities you could do to get stars (which you need in order to do the relationship trivia games, which are also great and so sweet!). would also maybe be nice to have descriptions for the trivia since you need to unlock them before you can see the questions - some of the themes are self-explanatory (e.g. “first impressions”) but others are not as clear (“cozy home” or “pet persona”) and it would be nice to know a bit more about what those entail.

but truly this is a great app and i’m so glad to have discovered it! i told my bf the first or second day we used this that i was a living ad for CozyCouples bc every time i opened it, i would find myself smiling so much! thank you for making this, it’s a really lovely thing for long distance couples :)

Me and my partner love this game!! We go on every few hours to update our mood and it actually is an easy way to just let them know what’s going on. I agree with a lot of the other reviews having a wider variety of moods would be so much fun!! Sometimes I’m feelin hangry, anxious, sneaky (when I wanna take their snacks lol) and also dumb ones like goofy, extra, fabulous. There are already a lot so thank you for those as well I love the ones that are there! 😇

Lastly I feel like when we upgraded to the paid version we didn’t really get to get anything super crazy besides the 200 stars. I know we unlocked a bunch of new things to unlock but I feel like having the subscription should maybe come with a tad bit more free things that we don’t need to use stats for! Like exclusive music selections, maybe access to change the color of your room, and higher star payouts while subscribed. Just ideas 💕

use CozyCouples with my long distance girlfriend, really helps being a little extra communication into the relationship and also allows us to relive some of the memories of seeing each other through the photos. We liked it enough to get premium and genuinely enjoy the diary, games, and the other stuff. Personally I feel like games should be repayable with a few more questions to ask in each. I also feel like you should be able to change the color scheme of your pet to make it match a real pet a couple may have. The only other nitpick I have is that could maybe be a few more emotions like sick or pensive, a few that adds just a little bit. Like I said I enjoy this game a lot and I can’t wait for more updates to come out.

I usually the one to skip on the review but I got to say, this is one, if not the best, couple app that my partner and I have used. We have been scrounging the store for one and it has been a blast. Having fun on CozyCouples, I instantly told 5 of my friends of whom they also downloaded CozyCouples with their partners! Really having fun with the mood switches, the little trivia, taking care of our pet, and getting to know each other on a deeper level.

Just observed the new moods in the latest updates and I really love it! I wish there were some features to be added with the frame of the world map picture. Having a feature where you click in and can document where you and your partner have travelled around the world would be cool. Also wish that some of the Trivia games could be played again but cycle different questions like the daily diary questions.

Would love to give more feedback if there is a chance but REALLY REALLY stellar App and great for couples both long distance or close distance… honestly whatever distance!

I’ve never written a review before really but I felt like I had to for this one. I flew back home because my mom has cancer which has been a lot emotionally, and my partner is about 8 hours away with full time school and two jobs. I would say we already are a pretty healthy couple and everything but neither of us were too keen on the idea of LDR (I mean who is really?). We’ve both really loved CozyCouples. We named our virtual cat after the name of the spot we had our first date at and every time my moms condition changes and I need a check in I use the little emotion light feature and it shows up on his home screen. I am not one for texting and I don’t have social media. I’ve really enjoyed using CozyCouples sporadically throughout the day, I consistently feel reassured. My partner is also good at using it throughout the day. We also use the diary feature everyday and answer the prompts and it’s left me feeling a lot better. I really needed this right now and I’m grateful it exists. It’s made one part of my life a little better :)

My partner and I have been long distance for our entire 1.5 year relationship. We’ve tried several different couple apps as a way to stay better connected but nothing has stuck as well as this one has and it came at just the right time. It has things we both enjoy and we look forward to the questions and pixel game everyday. Ironically enough there are a lot of things in CozyCouples that parallels our actual relationship, so it really feels like CozyCouples was made for us.

There are a few additions that I think would be fun to have. I’d love to have more moods to choose from, because sometimes none of them fit quite right. My boyfriend loves all the different songs, so having more options would make him happy. I love that we can add our pictures by clicking on the frame, but it’d be cool if we had the option to pick a picture that would show at all times in the home instead of the cozy silhouettes. And it would be really fun if the map was interactive, so we could mark the places we’ve been lucky enough to see together.

But overall it’s a really cozy, loving app and it’s one of the things I look forward to everyday. Thank you for giving us a place where we feel closer even while being so far apart. 🥰

me and my girlfriend have used cozy for many months now and it’s been a wonderful experience. we’ve bought all of our favorite customizations and it’s been a super fun time! there’s a few times where I feel like the customization is lacking, but overall it’s fun and fresh. I’d like some more color options for stuff like the wallpaper, carpet, maybe even a floor pattern option. my main suggestion is a small one but one that I think would make it more fun and immersive. I would love it if the bonsai tree would change depending on the seasons, leaves would turn orange and then they’d fall off, maybe sometimes it could be snowy, stuff like that, and I’d love if the part above the house would change seasonally too.
apart from my minor nitpicks and the things I think would be cool, it’s a wonderful experience and such a fun way to end my night
