Just had a strong line of severe thunderstorms come through and nothing. It’s like FlashWeatherAI is not working.
FlashWeatherAI is unique in the lightning app area. I like the chart layout showing colored indicators of threat of lighting in set distance.
What will set FlashWeatherAI apart from other would be to have a lightning counter on each distance demarcation. Add in the trend rate (increasing / decreasing) would be amazing to see as this will allow a person to determine threat levels at each distance level indicated on the Y axis.
I like FlashWeatherAI a lot, but either I'm confused or it is missing a critical feature: notifications! I expected FlashWeatherAI to send me a notification when there was an advisory or warning, but apparently you have to go into FlashWeatherAI and check proactively.
If notifications were added, this would be a great app but until then I need to rely on other apps that provide warnings via the iOS notification system.
So helpful with kids games and practice. I also use it for work all the time

I really love FlashWeatherAI. It’s simple, clean and just does a great job at predicting lightning conditions without a lot of the extra bells and whistles that so many Apps are cluttered with. I don’t know how it works but it sure does!
I’m not outdoorsy, but I can see many uses for this re: outdoor activities. Swimming, boating, golf. I think it would be great for campers, kids sports, etc.
