Been using this app since the first beta. Holy cow it has come from being a mess to being something I will probably use regularly. Just spent the last hour setting up the relationships between all of the people in my contacts, and the tools Dextr (Formarly people) gives you to go through your contacts is unmatched and well put together. Excited to see what happens in the future with the application, and it never hurts to try it out, it’s worth it, trust me. My only complaint would be the lack of ability to create custom relationships in the relationship menu on the contacts. Right now you have to go into a whole seperate menu, and being able to do it on the spot would be great.

Have you ever been to a party where you had to ask that acquaintance what his kid’s name is for a third time and it’s super embarrassing?
Do your kids have friends where you can never remember their parents’ names?
Dextr’s been great for me to take quick notes and remember names and relationships. I’ve been saved on at least one work meeting where I checked the App and realized that, oh wait, this is my second call with this person, and here’s how I met them before.
The only killer feature that’s missing is a general notes section (so I can remember other important info. Gluten free? From Minnesota? Dog passed away DONT ASK?) but this is stated in their roadmap and should be coming soon.
Hop on board and finally remember all these people you meet.

I’ve always thought that something like this should exist. I used to have my contacts in a spreadsheet to organize friend by countries and where I met them but it wasn’t a good system. So grateful for this visual mind map that clearly lays out the network of humans I’ve met so neatly and beautifully for me to visualize outside of my brain. Incredibly helpful. Can’t wait to share with all of my high IQ and EQ friends! Cutting edge.
