Seriously, shame on yall. I get trying to make money as an app dev myself but man where’s the conscience in the tech world. If I have to use another service to track a life threatening storm, I just will use that one exclusively like come on. There are plenty of features that arn’t states of emergencies that can be monetized. Get creative

The radar doesn’t show real or future time. It’s always 15 minutes behind.

I want to see the track of hurricane Milton won’t even let me see anything a white screen pops up and then goes away less then a second later this also happens for every other hurricane I want to track or wether report it doesn’t even show hurricane Milton on the radar and only rain close to the big bend of Florida Mabye my app is broken or maybe these developers just don’t know what to do I have monies how this is rated 4.6 stars out of 5 and I hope my review will change that

I got SKAI to track hurricanes but inorder to track them you have to sticken pay for it. There's no need to have another wether app so I'm deleting this one.

If you have enough money to pay for it then I'm sure that it will be a good app. But I don't so yeah!

I downloaded SKAI, but now I am going to delete it because it will not even let me see SKAI without agreeing to pay weekly or monthly. Ostensibly I could agree to that and then turn it off within the trial period, but if you expect to see anything without having to find and turn off a subscription, you are out of luck. Even the big button that says “Continue for $0” requires you to choose which subscription will automatically charge you at the end of the “free” trial. App producers should have the integrity to give full pricing information and not force people to accept a “free” trial than requires a turn off. I doubt there is even any kind of “free” (with advertising) service available on SKAI. Apple should require this integrity in their rules, but it seems this is the way of the world right now. (Yes I saw the “inn app purchases” information.

There are plenty of as good or better weather apps that you don’t have to pay for to get storm tracking info. Why pay for something that has plenty of non-paying options from your local news app to the standard Apple weather app.

I have had SKAI because I love the layout and the forecast, I don’t have the paid version of SKAI , but it has not been accurate 75%
Of the time, especially with rain and storms.

Number 1: Charging $4.99/week for the weather is ridiculous, especially with an app this bad!
Number 2: navigating SKAI is not easy to do.
Number 3: the radar keeps showing previous hours, when switched to detailed precipitation you can see several hours coming up, but it’s hard to see a detailed within the hour radar. This makes watching for a tornado in the area very difficult.

This was on a northern lights page and it looked as if it was for alerts for the northern lights. I joined under false advertising and would like to be removed from this service.

I signed up for the free trial to see how SKAI worked and immediately I get told I’m gonna be charged 4.99! Ohhhh….not a fan of SKAI at all. Everyone can make their own decision.

Too hard to navigate not user friendly

The radar updates are not fast enough for what I need. There a much better apps available for the same money.

If somebody hollers, “fire!“, Every day… Then all notices of any potential fires are assumed to be false alarms.
That’s how SKAI is to me. It gives me a false alarm every single day. For that reason, it is worthless for anything that would be valid as far as whether alerts.

SKAI does not show you the future forecast. You get the 45 minutes prior through the current time. I am struggling to see where the value in this feature lies. What a waste.

Downloaded from SKAI Store and tried to enter a free trial to see how it works. Immediately gives error in app purchases, not allowed..
No place does it allow you to do anything to fix that so it’s essentially a useless download.

No future forecast radar. Have to pay to get current status. No tornado overlay or nothing. Save you’re money and buy a NOAA powered radio!!!!!

States free but it’s not; it’s a trial with automatic fee charge. and impossible to cancel

Default is you agree to $9.99/month after three days! Delete before use!

Very basic app hardly any features! False advertising and WILL NOT REFUND! Don’t get SKAI!

I clicked future on the rain radar and it said you have to pay to see it. I paid 29.99 and now I can’t see future at all. All it shows is future forecast. It showed that before I paid. Do not pay for SKAI.

Downloaded and got my first “severe weather” announcement for my area. There are no thunderstorms forecasted for the next 7 days, and SKAI says that weather will happen mostly Monday afternoon. Deleted app. Don’t believe what is advertised!

I won’t pay for weather service. If you want anything future weather related, you have to pay. I’ll stick with the weather channel.

I don’t like the trash on the bottom of the screen covering up part of my radar

SKAI is quick responsive and the interface (buttons, layout, display, & user tools). Are better than most other weather radars and easy for use. However the fees for continued use of SKAI are kinda ridiculous. The yearly isn’t bad but only if it truly allows a monthly charge, even so I’d only pay like .25 cents a month.
Anyway here’s the BUT it forces you to accept a free trial with a pending 4.99 charge or the yearly if that’s what was selected when you accepted the free trial. I’m done testing SKAI out and deleted it. I’m trying to find where I can cancel so that it doesn’t automatically charge me. The devs don’t make this obvious which leads me to believe it’s by design so they can get away with you $5. I’ve check the setting section in app I’ve check the apple app itself and checking my manage subscriptions there and nothing pops up. I’ll be highly upset if I get a surprised charge for 4.99 After I’ve already removed that appt

The reason it’s because you have to pay to see how much snow is falling on ground for $9.99 a month! I just wish I can see how much snow will fall and also lightning strikes you have to pay as well

I expected this hurricane tracker to be more user-friendly. When I saw the hurricane icon with a "4" bubble, I assumed it meant there were four active storms to track. However, clicking the icon only let me turn the tracker on or off. It was hard to locate the actual hurricanes—I had to zoom all the way out and search the globe. I only found three, and they were marked with large "L" symbols, which I guess represent tropical depressions. The tracker offered basic info like wind speed and pressure, but lacked updates or predictions. It would be far more helpful if clicking the icon took me straight to the active storms, showing their paths, timelines, and potential impact. Overall, SKAI is too basic and makes storm tracking confusing, with unclear symbols and limited information.

Find the radar map graphics not very clear and weather reporting not very accurate by location.

The radar is pretty good but I can say that for most all weather apps. The problem I have with this one is on the radar “layer” starts with what happened 45 min ago and counts 5 min. intervals to current time, that’s it! In order to see future direction of the storm is to change the layer to which gives a long timeline view forward and doesn’t give any visual or feel like it’s a continuation from the current state of weather so, by the time your done looking at that, you’ve now forgotten where you left off on the current timeline and then have to switch back to the other layer. Just put the timeline at the bottom and give an option to move it! maybe a dropdown box on the main user interface, heck I don’t know. I have no clue what the point is for having a Basic vs Detailed precipitation layer. All of the most controls on the main screen without having to switch layers. I’m no app creator and I’m sure the people who write the software are much smarter in ways that I am not, but common sense seems to be on the forefront of what’s missing in all apps these days. Living in Oklahoma all my life I’d say I’m pretty familiar with what could be useful for me in a weather app. I would imagine it’s pretty mutual across the board. I paid for the subscription and the free apps available are much better and will be going back to. Ya’ll have a good’n now.

I guess real time is 6 hours ago 🤷‍♀️ and the tracking is a little flame icon in the general area, not even perimeter lines

SKAI . Continuously gives me reports for areas I am not in. For example, I am in Texas and getting information on Miami and Orlando. The settings does not give an option to select a town and I have the settings to use my precise location. Additionally the NWS and Accuweather websites provide a much better and detailed weather picture. I am currently in a thunderstorm and looking at those sites instead of this app, which does not give an accurate radar picture.

Phones are too small, the screen is locked so you cannot use a screen reader… Not even close to being usable for people, but less than perfect eyesight

Pretty size lakes and I like it when I’m warned of a big storm coming towards me so I depend on my weather warning!s I get on my phone!! It helped me quite a few times!👍🇺🇸👍
