This is such a cool concept but it lacks the most important element that makes people want to utilize a stylist in the first place- personalization. For $99 a year, I was expecting to be prompted to fill out detailed forms of what my preferred style is like, like favorite colors or even if I prefer accessories or not. Instead, I was immediately presented with a full month full of generic and basic outfits for each day with absolutely zero personality tailored to my likes or wants. I went through OutfitFormulas clicking around trying to see if I somehow missed the part where I get to describe my personal style goals in depth and I found nothing. For reference, I’m pretty alternative with somewhat of a goth-like style, and I was hoping to be able utilize this stylist app to help me put together more presentable, cohesive outfits, but really the outfits they pre-loaded for me for $99 were as basic as you can find. I am really glad there’s a free trial. OutfitFormulas is a great concept but really needs to broaden their target audience because not everyone loves the basic women of TikTok style trends.

It asks you to start a trial immediately. Normally people say this on reviews when there was an obvious X in the corner so u can use OutfitFormulas , but nope. After it already created an account so now I have to go unsubscribe before my email is flooded again. I just can’t believe that people make these apps because they know women will pay for these things. We spend so much money on unnecessary stuff. I need styling help and I don’t have any money to spend, is there anyway you guys can make a free version with less stuff or adds or something?

I really do love this OF app! It is so easy to do everything - no real complaints from me.
One “wish” though - would it somehow be possible to have the ability to switch the outfits around in the monthly calendar? While I know that following the calendar as-is works for so many, it would be nice to have the ability to easily switch things around for those of us who have a more varied daily routine.
Would there possibly be a way to take the 30 outfits for a given month and place them onto the calendar on days where they are most appropriate for our individual life? For example, maybe “outfit 1” works best for me to wear on the 12th of the given month so I could put that outfit on the calendar for the day it works best for me to wear it.
Ladies could still post a pic of what they are wearing on social media each day if they chose, but just say, “I’m wearing Outfit #(whatever) today because…..”
App is great, but that’s my dream!!

As an OF subscriber for several years, I was excited when OutfitFormulas first got released. There are some definite positives, including an outfit for every day and a clear shopping list. OF encourages closet shopping, so I usually don’t buy new clothes monthly. But if you’re just starting out or need new clothes for any reason, the updated links are really helpful.

There is still room for improvement, however. I would really like a way to import my own clothing items and recreate the formulas using my own pieces.

I also think I wouldn’t mind seeing fresh pieces each month if I had a bigger closet and I had everything I own out at once. But I find myself digging into my clothing out of season storage to pull out items often, since I have only a small reach-in closet. For me, the previous seasonal capsules were a better fit than the newer, monthly format. I do find myself wearing more of my wardrobe this way and I know that’s a positive for a lot of users.

I would recommend OutfitFormulas for anyone who needs help putting outfits together. Especially those who have a big closet full of clothes, but they find themselves wearing the same outfits over and over. Outfit Formulas will definitely pull you out of a leggings and t-shirts rut!

OutfitFormulas was a game changer in helping me find the key pieces I already own and bring them together into cohesive outfits. I get so many compliments now. OutfitFormulas also helps to identify which classic items might be missing with links to current stores that carry the item. With OutfitFormulas I figured out that I had 5 pairs of basically identical neutral pants but no gray jeans, which are such a versatile bottom. I love that OutfitFormulas encourages the use of fun accessories to make sure your personality shines.

As a very busy Mom of 4, I don’t have the bandwidth to decide what I’m going to wear everyday. I’m so thankful for Outfit Formulas that now I don’t have to think about that aspect of my morning. After every season I’m finding I need to shop for less and less items. I have a closet I love and now I can just focus on updating pieces or trying a new trend if I like it.

I’m just starting out on OutfitFormulas. It is amazing at how it can help with putting pieces you have in your own closet. Getting you out of the rut of the way you have always dressed, trying something new or different or something you might not have tried before.

OutfitFormulas/ Outfit formulas has save me both time & money. I no longer spend a bunch of money every month on clothing. And I actually wear the clothes I buy. I always feel put together & love the outfit combinations. In the morning I just look at OutfitFormulas it tells me what to wear & I do have to use up valuable decision making. Which gives me more energy thru my day!

Love OutfitFormulas! It is so easy to use and see what each day’s outfit suggestion is quickly while getting dressed. I also love the feature where you can check off which outfits you’ve worn so I can see that a) I’m absolutely getting my money’s worth from the program and b) I’m not repeating the same outfits too much with days I’ve skipped.

I started using OutfitFormulas during the beta phase. They’ve consistently worked out bugs and flaws, it’s always getting better and better! The Outfit Formula system is awesome end having OutfitFormulas makes it so easy. I’ll review OutfitFormulas over and over again at 5 stars because they’re constantly improving it!

I started using the Outfit Formulas app in the spring. Due to some major life changes and a significant weight loss, I was overwhelmed and needed some guidance. The OF app was just what I needed to get some control over my wardrobe and to curate a closet so that I actually had clothes that worked for me. Now that I am several months in, I can confidently put together outfits for work and days off. What a difference having the Outfit Formulas app makes!

I simply can not say enough good things about OutfitFormulas. It is my monthly expense that I just simply can’t cut because it helps me feel so much better during the day. No more staring into my closet trying to put something cute or professional looking together. I especially love the flexibility of whether or not to make the outfits lean more business or more casual. I always get told that I look so “put together.” Best app EVER!!!

I stumbled on Outfit Formulas on social media and am extremely grateful. As a result, I have learned *a lot* but have mostly realized, as a busy mom, I really don’t like wearing athletic cloths everywhere. OutfitFormulas is great for me because it reduces my decision fatigue, I feel on trend, creative, and pulls the platform’s content together in an easily accessible format. I barely have time to brush my teeth before I get my kids out the door everyday but now I have a “go to” plan every day :).

This is OutfitFormulas I didn’t even know I was searching for! I’ve been buying up all the “capsule wardrobe” pieces that influencers recommend, with no clue how to put them together. OutfitFormulas lets me shop my own closet and keep it fresh.
One suggestion: I prep all my outfits for the week on the weekend. I wish there was an option to snap a picture on Sunday of my, say, Thursday outfit, so that, come Thursday, I can quickly remember the accessories that I picked to go with it.

I’ve been using Outfit Formulas for about 4 months now and I absolutely love it. I had recently lost about 50 pounds and needed to rebuild my wardrobe with clothes that fit. Outfit formulas makes it easy to identify what to add to my closet as I rebuilt my formula and makes it easy to see what I already have. Additionally, anything I buy I know I will wear because it’s built into the formulas! I feel so much more out together and am no longer repeating the same “go tos” each week. So far, I have no complaints!

I’ve been an Outfit Formula member since 2019. I’ve always LOVED the formulas and shopping lists, but the hard work and responsiveness to customers that’s built OutfitFormulas is beyond compare. it supports everything I’ve learned in my journey with Outfit Formulas - we don’t have to be mindless buyers, but can develop the skill to be a careful curator and love and dress the shape we’re in at any age or phase of our lives.

I love the ease with which this helps me plan what to wear and it’s made packing a snap and frustration-free.

This is a pretty new app for a program that has been around a while. Change can be hard when you love a program as is BUT I think they have done an amazing job. I imagine for those that are having trouble logging in it would be frustrating but luckily mine worked perfectly. I’m excited to see all the new things they end up adding! The formulas are always spot on and the Facebook group is a total treasure. We will have to wait and see how it all goes but so far: I’m on board! Super fun!

I love OutfitFormulas for several reasons. I have a lot of nice classic clothing but I struggled getting dressed in the morning. OutfitFormulas is really focused on creating a capsule wardrobe that consists of timeless pieces and shows you how to put them together. I also love that if you are looking for something like a leopard shoe that they’re suggesting you wear you can look up on their app suggestions of where to purchase this item. A lot of the items suggested are well within a reasonable budget! Love OutfitFormulas! for the first time in a long time I’m excited to get dressed in the morning!

OutfitFormulas is truly amazing. I have been stuck in the chaos of my closet for way too many years and just wearing sweats and tees. OutfitFormulas has helped me clean out my closet, keep the items that are truly staples, and shown me how to style outfits. I have even been able to add some new pieces in as I go through the season calendar. This is a must for any woman, whether you work outside the home, in the home, always on the go, stay at home mom, all women!! OutfitFormulas helps you create well put together outfits for your lifestyle by utilizing most of what you already have and boosting your confidence in the meantime. A++++

I really like OutfitFormulas and the calendar. Here’s a suggestion…have the check marks from the closet staples tab carryover to the months where that item is used in rotation. For instance, the White Tee is a staple item. It is used in rotation February, March, April, May,June and July. I should only have to check the closet staple box and app should populate all the months it’s used.
