The free version lets you keep 20 quotes and then you have to pay. Just use your notes app. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Thoughts looks great, but there were some issues I ran into while onboarding that could be improved.

1. I wish there had been more quotes to choose from. I found two that resonated with me, but I had to pick a third or just skip the step completely to continue.

2. After completing the quote selection, you are dropped out into the feed which shows you the quotes you selected. Once you scroll down, it says “Enough for now”, with an indication you can see more quotes by updating your settings.

I reviewed my settings and the feed is set to show 7, so really there was nothing else for me to see on the feed tab. Perhaps direct me to Discover instead?

3. A minor issue, but when reviewing the collection documentation, I pressed on an image and swiped it away after I was finished. Unfortunately this closed the documentation completely, not just the image.

I’ll keep using Thoughts and will update my review if I have any other findings. Thanks!

Okay, I am reviewing it. But since I have not been able to use Thoughts yet, I cannot do much but say, hey, I downloaded it…
When will it be FREE as stated? Supposed to be Free for LIfetime if downloaded on December 10, 2023.

There is no way (that I can find) to search for a quote. I wanted to see if I had added a quote or not. They all have tags but the tags are in chronological order!? I have 50+ tags that I need to sort through?

Thoughts is absolutely amazing! I’ve been wanting an app that lets me sort out the quotes that mean something to me, and it’s great for that. I only really wish that there were widgets for me to be able to pin my favorite quote to my Home Screen or Lock Screen. The dev seems really cool though and I love being able to see all the documentation that’s behind Thoughts , I love it!

Thoughts works well and offers an array of features to customize its usage. Highly recommended to use Thoughts if collecting/creating quotes is something you like doing.

I like Thoughts a lot. And appreciate its steady improvements. It’s one of a kind. And something I use daily to add inspiration to my day.

I do wish for a few things to make it even better.

* Tags to be alphabetically sorted. Makes it easier to find.
* Be able to change the creation date of the quote or thought. Useful for when you add information into Thoughts from other sources that you have saved from the past.
* Widget that can be assigned to a single collection or tag.
* Share quote as image with beautiful custom colors and gradients.
* App icon choices with vibrant and pleasing colors.
* Be able to choose the start up collection when you open Thoughts .
* Colored themes for your quotes. One can dream …
* Apple Watch app to see one of your collections or tags on your wrist (with Watch complications).

Often times I will put my quotes in notes but it gets lost forever but this helps!!

this app is a sleek and minimalist quote manager that provides all of the functionality you are looking for to organize your favorite quotes, aphorisms, proverbs, etc., as well as your own this app. It is simple and intuitive without the clutter of many other quote apps available. The user interface and functionality closely resemble what a quotes app created by Apple may look like, so it will fit right in on your device. Just on its first day, I have already upgraded to a Pro Lifetime subscription and Thoughts has found its way to my iPhone’s Home Screen. Highly recommended!

Love how easy it is to organize my quotes with tags and collections. I had been saving them in a note and this lets me see them in a widget! But big request — can we have the author visible in the widget too? Pretty please?

Really like the design of Thoughts and the intended functions! Highly recommend to create more under discover! Maybe incorporate filters to be able to filter by mood! Have very high hopes!

I got the lifetime pro because it is a well-designed pure SwiftUI app.

However, I wish there was a non-stack large-size minimal widget, and I hope we could customize the font size and serif vs. sans-serif for the quote display.

A very thoughtful (see what I did there)app, especially since it is created by a college student. Serves a very specific need but does it well. One thing I would like to see added is the ability to set a photo as a background when creating Thought images to share - currently I only see colors available. Thanks Henri

I love collecting quotes, but the language in an old Note and never saw the light of day. this app has changed that! I love the widget which resurfaces that which was buried. And I got great technical support from Henri – he helped me work through an import issue I was having, and added to his Support article to help others who face the same problem.
