I’m not typing a lot but i scanned a nickle 4 times and every single time it was a different result and different coin. once it was a penny once a quarter and then a penny and a penny. it doesn’t know what your coin is it just gives you a random one. i even bought the premium bc i don’t really care and thought it be better but nope it’s the same so don’t waste your time. or do i don’t care. and i guess i ended up typing a lot.

Gives you 5 choices of currency and doesn’t get the dates correct. Canceled with in the first hour

This is a mediocre app for identifying coins. I attempted to identify “King Charles III” 2 pound coin and iCoin identified it as 50 cent piece….

iCoin thought a 1924 silver dollar was a 1989 nickel!! Had no idea what an Indian nickel was. Immediately canceled the free trial.

Total rip-off. Can’t identify correctly. Prices are crazy. Obvious scam. Should be banned from Facebook ad and Apple Store.

Awful not paying that much to see how much their worth.

Bogus 5* reviews all posted over two days in December 2022. App does not use accurate pricing and does not track by mint. Another dishonest venture from China. Thanks Tim Cook.

Terrible app- wish I could give it less then one star. Doesn’t work at all. Would not advise.

iCoin couldn’t even scan the coins date right! I’m deleting as fast as I downloaded it

I tried this several different ways, with light, without light as close as possible and far away. Identifies my dines and quarters as dollars. Not happy with iCoin, removed it.

You have to pay -free trial- don’t get it-

Tried some basic coins like a penny and quarter. Could not tell anything accurate about them. Didn’t know the year or even the years the coin was valid. Total waste of time…

The camera can’t get an accurate reading if it can’t focus on the coin. Why is it so hard to find good working technology these days? There is so much junk on the market today. You make more money when you put out quality products.

App is a big thumbs down.
Scanned a couple 1923 silver dollars. Pics were very clear and coins in very condition.
The top five results contained no silver dollars, no matching years even though 1923 is clear as can be, and not one of the matches even had the head on the coin facing the same direction.

I have tried multiple times on a coin that I can clearly see and it comes of with different coins every time. It is like it’s randomly giving you an answer. And it does not show you the price of the coin when you scan it. You have to pay for that. Rip off

I downloaded it, and not only do they collect and use ur information without u knowing, but when u want to cancel ur subscription even if it’s the trial one, there’s no way to cancel it!! So they ultimately end up charging ur card for the already too much of money for such an app that does absolutely nothing!! Crap app and I’m reporting this one! I think it’s a scam

I usually use those websites and forums to identify coins I accidentally acquire, and I actually didn't realize the inconvenience of that method until I found out I could do it easily with a mobile app!

Great, especially for people who need to sort through a lot of coins. Identifying coins with iCoin is much faster than having to learn all the coins on the Red Book!

I usually use those websites and forums to identify coins I accidentally acquire, and I actually didn't realize the inconvenience of that method until I found out I could do it easily with a mobile app!

Well worth trying.
