The game is fun, but when the content of the game is outweighed by the advertisements in the game, the game is quickly deleted. With so many other games and so much other content now on Apple - game designers better figure out pretty freaking fast that when the level of pain to customers doesn’t cause them to buy, but gets them to delete the game, they have failed. They in turn will spend lots of money trying to advertise to potential game players who eventually read these reviews then pass on the game, and not waste their time. It will cost you three times as much money trying to get them back as what you would’ve made if you would’ve just listened to your current customer base to keep them. Let me at least give you an idea. An advertisement should come on when an upgrade or a major decision from a player is to be done in the game. Not in the middle of gameplay. When the commercial is longer than the gameplay time- you blew up your ability to keep a player.

I enjoy the game to an extent but the ads are just way too much. An ad every new state is reasonable, an ad every wave is way too much, an ad every single minute, completely disregarding the fact that I’m actively moving and playing is insane. If the wave is long I will be hit with a good 4 ads, all while I’m moving. These ads by themselves are insanely annoying, but on top of it before the ad pops up I lag. So I mess up and sometimes die, and then have to restart the wave and get more ads. It’s like you’re punishing me for downloading your game. I know you have to make money but if I have to watch 10 ads every level I’m gonna find a different game. Also I know you can’t tell what games I download but it is significantly annoying to download a game from an ad, and then see the ad a million more times. I think if i download more of your games, and therefore get a bigger total of ads, you should reduce the amount per game. An enjoyable game but I’m not gonna play it much longer if this keeps up.

The gameplay is nothing special-the graphics are not particularly good, the weapons are not imaginative, the enemies are nothing special. Generally, it follows the same mechanics as a ton of other games. It is just a basic shooting game to pass time. I certainly don’t have an issue with that. The problem is that it’s unplayable with the adds. So you have to pay if you want to get rid of the ads, but as stated above there is nothing special about the game. I would imagine most people understand that ads suppose free play options, but if the ads are so frequent and obtrusive that you don’t want to play the game, that seems counter productive. Ads would pop up in the middle of gameplay! It didn’t matter if you were trying to fight out of a sticky situation, an ad may pop up right in the midst of it. I tried to get an idea of how frequent the ads were, so I used a stopwatch to see. After about every 30 seconds of gameplay, a 30 second ad would disrupt the game. As stated above, it didn’t matter what was going on in the game. It was after that realization that I deleted the game.
