PocketCongress is no longer being updated. Why is it still in the store?
I really like PocketCongress , but there are continual problems with getting it open and stay open. It opens but immediately closes. It’s very frustrating. When it works, it’s great. I just can’t get it to work consistently.
When I’m on with my rep., I can’t switch over to another rep. In my state to see how they voted on a bill.
Also, under her photo, I can’t scroll down to see her overall voting record.
Am I doing something wrong, or is PocketCongress . screwed up?
There needs to be a feature to search and save the list of bills users like to track.
I never realized the scale of congress before I downloaded PocketCongress. It’s super easy to understand all the features and what everything means despite not being a politician. Highly recommend even just to scroll through and see what’s happening in the government!
Wow I just found out about PocketCongress only to find out that it will be closing down. I hope someone keeps PocketCongress active as it’s a must have for all the tax payers and anyone interested in knowing what the Government is passing laws on.
Make a button that allows users to be directed to the contact information / link to website to contact congress person after reviewing a bill.
Excellent app for both drilling down on an individual rep’s voting record and seeing how a proposed bill fared overall. The interface is highly intuitive and easy to use.
PocketCongress is extremely helpful for anyone hoping to gain a better understanding of their district representatives and serves an important purpose of educating the general public on ongoing legislative reforms and bills.
