Just tried it bought my licenses and put in for special hunt. No problem very easy

Buttons are hidden to prevent advancing through license renewal, not all information carried over from the migration of data, so I had to re-enter a lot of information. This is still in the beta stages and I would recommend not using it for a couple of years until they work out the bugs. They do not take AMEX either.

Every time I try to add my license it freezes up and no matter how many times I restart or re-install GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina it continues to do it. At least I have my paper license in my wallet. It would be nice to use the “tag without internet” feature because one spot that I hunt in as no cell service. Hopefully this will get fixed soon

Great App! Can store my licenses and my friends. The toolkit is nice. It has feeding periods and sunrise /sunset times.

When I click to add my license information GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina freezes and had to be shut down. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling…. same issue.

GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina locks up when the add license is clicked. Tried restarting and reinstalling GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina . All other features work great. I would rate this 5 stars if the add license worked. This is a key feature of GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina .

GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina states that it is compatible with iOS 13 and up. My dad (74) has an iPhone 6s Plus. His iOS is 15.7.8.

GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina loaded fine. When I went to sync his license to the phone (under the “add another license” tab, GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina will either freeze and not allow the screen to continue OR the tab itself will simply freeze. Either way, nothing happens.

I can log into my dads account and see his lifetime info. That’s great. But if you aren’t gonna send out the paper licenses like in the past (especially for the older hunters) and you attempt to force them to go digital, please, at least ensure that GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina itself is thoroughly debugged.

This old iPhone is literally the ONLY tech he owns. No laptop, printer, fax, or even satellite dish. Getting him to own this and “learn it” was no small undertaking. But he tries and is even savvy enough for some social media.

Personally I’m a fan of GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina . Works great on my iPhone 13 Pro. And I understand the growing pains of starting a new way of doing things. But let’s not forget that we have to still take care of our elders, even when it comes to tech.

Just installed and added my license without any issues. Seems to work quick and easy. Nice update.

Me and my wife both downloaded GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina her works fine and I can’t add my license, it freezes every time. I have a updated iPhone 7 Plus and hers is an 8 plus.

Nice to see NC Wildlife carrying their abysmal record of mismanagement into the technological world. Can’t even add a license without freezing as many others say. What a joke.

Can’t find half of what I’m looking for in GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina , not to mention you can’t add your BGHRC (managed to do that by accident) easily. Nothing is easy and for the older hunters this will be a nightmare. You have to repeatedly log in every time you click something new. Haven’t found any help videos for how to get your license and report card loaded.

It’s awesome when you need to report a harvest and GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina won’t work. I don’t have a paper license so out of pocket on my hunting license number. GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina is trash. Always print your license. I was dumb to trust GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina

Don’t waste your time. Just do everything on the computer. This is the most buggy app I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. Leave it to the State of North Carolina to approve this sorry piece of crap

GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina freezes when you try to add a license, really it’s good for nothing without your license information?

Even though my app has updated I still can not see the sunrise and sunset. I love GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina for many reasons as it is easy to tag a harvested animal. I can always look at the sunrise and sunset on the weather app. Just would be nice to use on GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina as well. I’m worried if I uninstall and redownload GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina I will not be able to put my stuff back up there as I have seen in previous reviews and I won’t be able to access the rest of my tags. Other then that, I love it. Very easy to direct through and very straight forward. A lot of information for some one willing to learn the regulations

I really enjoy GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina for the information you can get. It’s a great thing to click through in the tree stand. The one complaint I have is that you don’t have access to your tags. It would be excellent to be able to reference the tag numbers when reporting a harvest.

I cannot add my lifetime sportsman’s license to GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina and there is no links to help you or show you how to operate GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina so it’s basically useless. Would give a 0 out of 5 stars but that’s not an option.

Honestly, most of the people giving it 1-star have not given GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina a true chance. It’s still fairly new and launched in July, so yes there’s room to improve but give it some time. Also, you can call Go Outdoors and ask for a walkthrough if you’re having difficulty. They are more than welcome to help their customers and make it easier to navigate. If something isn’t clear enough then usually you would call or look around for help. This isn’t anything different - just ask for help.

Can we please get an update to fix that not being able to add an existing license please? It’s clearly an issue with several people complaining of experiencing freezing when clicking “Add another license” while trying to get their info added into GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina .

Trying to checkout with my hip certification and big game tags but the checkout button literally won't work. Glad I wasn't in a pinch and needing to tag something. Useless app.

NC wildlife and game should be shamed of their self. How did they expect older men and women that don’t even have smart phones to be forced to go to this website and download an app when they don’t even know what app is

Old version worked fine. New update will not load on my phone. I deleted GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina and now it still will not load. GoOutdoorsNorthCarolina needed fixing by the state because it was working with no problem and that wasn’t good enough.
