Price has more than doubled in the past year. The “lite” plan starts at $199 now any anything cheaper isn’t very useful anymore.

App went downhill ever since to switched to Bushel Farm

Edit: I now cannot say I will continue using BushelFarm, apparently it is $30 a month just to be able to map fields. I logged in today to adjust the size of some of my feels that I have lost and gained and now I cannot even edit field size without paying. It had the possibility of being a good app, but $30 a month is outrageous.

I love BushelFarm in its free form, the ability to log field records and check in with rain totals all in one place is very handy for me. I would like to see an option to view and manage your storage options for the mobile devices, as I don’t have a computer having to switch back and forth when adding different storage and just to see my overall storage is cumbersome. I do think however that the services that are offered in the premium packages are extremely overpriced. $1200 a year just for satellite imagery and price tracking, when both of those features can be found online for free? I would buy the premium extras if BushelFarm were cheaper and even if it had advertisements would be a fair trade. Also wanted to report a bug with iPad usage, whenever you try to update the date of an activity BushelFarm just crashes. Has been happening for over a month now. In short, great app that does have issues but definitely needs price reduced to feel even remotely purchasable.

I’ve had farm logs for several years simply to monitor rainfall on food plots at our hunting property since I live 2.5 hours away from it. No charges and it was user friendly. Now all of a sudden there’s this change and I can’t access my previously selected fields or rainfall information without paying a fee for usage. There was no information that I’m aware of sent to me indicating this change especially now a payment for use. I don’t mind paying for services but being forced in this manner, NO THANKS. I’ll choose another option since I wasn’t important enough to be informed of the changes until I simply couldn’t access my account.

I’ve enjoyed BushelFarm for the last few years, always thought it was great, until this year when it kept losing my data. After inputting dates this spring of tilling, fertilizers, chemicals, and planting, I was ready to report to USDA and Crop Insurance and half of my planting dates were gone. So I estimated on the spot of these other fields. Enjoyed seeing the rainfall totals this summer. Recorded harvest dates. Was ready to report harvest dates and found all my data was wiped out!! Planting dates, harvest dates, everything, gone!! Only item still intact was one field tilled in March plus previous years. How could this happen?!? Goodbye FarmLogs. We’re done with you. Pen and paper, still the most reliable.

An app that went from free to a ridiculous price overnight. Looks like they “reset” their reviews trying to hide how disappointed people are with BushelFarm.

FarmLogs used to be the best available tool for keeping track of rainfall amounts. As an absentee landowner, I need to know how much rain my land received in the past week, month, and year. I used to be able to get that info on FarmLogs without paying a ridiculously high fee. Now you have to pay a minimum of $30/month to see that data. I understand the company is just trying to make some additional profit but to go from free to $30/month is crazy. Everyone I knew who once used BushelFarm has stopped use since they made this change. Please bring back free rainfall totals, and for more than the last 24 hours.

I’ve been using BushelFarm for years and years for free just to check rainfall at my house and business then they changed and now suddenly they want me to pay $79 a year just to see the rainfall amounts? Typical like so many other companies looking for a way to charge people for something that used to be free. Now I’ve lost my properties because I’m not paying for something I’ve been getting free for years. I found another app called Raindrop that’s just as accurate if not more accurate so thanks for nothing Bushel Farms.

I'm always a bit skeptical about trying new software for the farm, but Bushel Farm is definitely really helpful for our family farm.

Easy to check rain and satellite imagery, and love the JD connection.

This is a great app for those of you who want to use the technology in farming but can't afford the high cost of services and subscriptions from dealers. Also help keep records and track yields. I would recommend BushelFarm to anyone farming 20+acres and anyone farming more than a few fields.

This is a VERY useful product. Was on the fence at first and thought would just easier to track on paper or excel but BushelFarm on your phone is WAY easier then I thought and incredibly useful in the field! No brainer on this one for the price

Highly recommend farm logs to anyone that has a future in farming. Great app to keep an extra eye on fields. It also is great for knowing your break-evens. The desktop app is exceptional. You can keep great farm records with farm logs. I just wish there was a way on the mobile app to show fields that have been shared with you.

BushelFarm is amazing. You can track every farm operation from tillage till the time you harvest. It also has capability to upload yield data while you harvest with newer gen combines. You can go back to previous years and view planting and harvesting dates along with previous crops. Wonderful data packed app.

BushelFarm is great. Awesome that it's fully compatible with iOS 9 and split view. Makes life that much easier. Rainfall and the ability to see all fields on one map is nice too, along with everything else about it. Exactly what I was looking for! Does get a little clunky when you add a lot of different fields all at once, but that was due to the amount of info it was trying to process during the initial setup. After that, it was smooth sailing.

Been with FarmLogs for at least the last 4 years. Customer Service is very friendly and can answer any questions you have. Different packages to help any operation with data management. Always looking for new input to make BushelFarm and the software better for the grower. I don’t plan on leaving FarmLogs anytime soon.

I downloaded BushelFarm to effectively fertilize and spray my crop fields without a GPS unit. I was a little reluctant given some of the reviews but noticed every time some had a issue BushelFarm Developer addressed the issue. After using it in both applications, fertilizing and spraying, I can honestly say it worked to perfection with me. Will definitely continue to use!

Appreciate the response from Farmlogs anytime I have a question or suggest improvements. They continuously improve the program to keep it user friendly and a valuable farming tool. More and more we’re required by law to document weather conditions for certain activities and Farmlogs does it automatically. I wish the cost was somewhat lower but we feel it’s such a valuable and easy to use tool that we just budget it into our cost of operations.

I was looking for a simple rainfall log app after planting when I came across this instead. I had given up on finding a useful farming app a long time ago, but this one is so simple, intuitive, and easy to use (the website too) that I'm glad I happened to find it. The historical rainfall for previous years is nice. It would be great if I could see detailed rainfall graphs in BushelFarm like I can on the website (instead of just 24 hrs / week / YTD) along with the soil maps (also website only) and if I could get rain alerts without needing GPS enabled. But still 5 stars!

Accurate. Keeping track of weekly rainfall by week is a big timesaver and takes care of a job that often gets missed

Not realtime though. There was s a 12-24 hour lag sometimes.
