Never had so much trouble with an app before. I just deleted it. That was the second time I’ve installed it & it still doesn’t work correctly. Half the time it is stuck on the ad page. Or the radar is completely wrong. It’s raining outside & when I go to WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather it shows no rain around us. We live in Franklin and it seems to give me the weather for Nashville. I’ve complained to Lisa Spencer about it and she just says to reinstall it. I love the channel 2 app! The radar on channel 2 app is great also! Don’t waste your time with WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather.

Lately every time I look at WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather it is wrong. I now go to Twitter to get my weather from a different weather team.

Get a notification for a story.
Click on notification.
Watch a ridiculously long ad.
No story comes up or some totally unrelated story.

Total waste of time. Love Chanel 4 but their app is horrible.

So sad to see this one go. This was my go to app for local weather radar for the last seven or eight years. It doesn’t work at all anymore. They stopped updating it two years ago. Haven’t been able to find one that I like as much as I liked this one. 😟 very disappointing!

Not iPad friendly. Only displays in portrait. My iPad keyboard case doesn't function standing up on end. Please fix.

Frequently when WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather is opened it stays stuck on the ad page. I wrote to voice my frustration; and all I got was a response that said nothing can be done!

Have used this for a while but the map started dropping me in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa and wouldn’t move. So I reinstalled and it’s even worse and immediately crashes. Don’t bother.

Was a great app until the latest update. Now the radar display no longer actually showps radar! Pretty useless now.

App is horrible!!!!! Went to App Support and what comes up?! A 404 page saying “page you are looking for cannot be found”. We were actually thinking about advertising with Channel 4, but never will now if this is how they operate.!!!!!!!

Used to be my favorite weather app but no longer loads. Displays much longer range of hourly forecasts plus 10 day forecasts vs 7 days on most apps. But now all I get is a failed to connect message. Reviewed all settings, deleted and redownloaded but problem remains. RIP...

Early Tuesday morning around 1 am March 3, 2020 tornados touched down near downtown Nashville and continued west for almost 50 + miles. Not. One. Notification. from WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather! Thank God I heard the outside neighborhood sirens and ran to the bathroom for cover. Waste of time to give false sense of security with WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather.

WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather needs an update in the worst way. The daily forecast no longer loads, the hourly forecast no longer loads, even the feedback tab will not work. Which is why I’m writing a review. ATTENTION WSMV Channel 4... fix your weather app!!

Really like the new weather app. I would pay a dollar or two for an ad- free version that would take advantage of the extra screen space on the iPhone 5, then I would give it 5 stars.

WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather is easy to use and the forecasts are very detailed, especially in the 10 day outlook. The main thing missing is a 24 hour live stream of 4WARN Live Doppler. Add that, and I will add a fifth star! Very impressed with the ease of use, especially being an iPhone 3GS user. Well done! (Update: in response to the review about WSMV4FIRSTALERTWeather crashing on 3GS with iOS 5.1, I don't have that issue on mine. Update to iOS 6, and you shouldn't have that problem)

I never rate apps, but this one is too well done not to give a pat on the back. Maybe the previous editions weren't that hot--I don't know. What I do know is that the current one is wonderful. Definitely worth your time.
