I've been using this app since 2016 and its been nice to see that they're finally updating the app because its one of the most underrated editing apps on mobile! I literally use this app almost everyday and it's been like that for almost 10 years. But this recent update is one of the worst updates I have ever seen by far. It's literally so bad that I actually felt like I had to make this review and this is the first time ever in my life where I'm posting a review about an app. You can't even export videos anymore, audio is never in sync and its basically impossible to make clips go in sync with the audio, I can't access most of my photo/video albums in my camera roll for some reason, clips are constantly lagging and for some reason you have to stretch a clip a certain amount just to move it so you have to look at the exact millisecond on the time bar just to put in sync. Theres an overwhelming amount of issues with this app now and it's really heartbreaking to see. This should be fixed immediately :(

I don’t know what it is, but lately whenever I use the app and I try to extract audio from multiple videos, it gets through one, maybe two if I’m lucky, and then it crashes out my photo app. I can’t take pictures, I can’t save videos, if I look at photos and videos they’re blurry and won’t play, I can’t delete or retrieve anything from the trash, I can’t save screen recordings, basically anything and everything to do with my photos is unusable. This has never happened to me before this update. Could it be other things? Sure, maybe. But is it also likely that once the app bugs out and can’t extract anything, it also bugs out my phone as a whole? Possibly, I wouldn’t be surprised. Not to be that person, but I honestly miss the older versions of this app. I’ve had it for years and some of these new updates just feel unnecessary. This app used to be quick and easy to use but now it bugs out and crashes whenever I try to do anything with it.

if you delete a video you exported from your camera roll, the app will complete forget about the video entirely and deleted from existence. i know it’s possible to do this, since literally every other app doesn’t have this problem. as for the limited space for transitions, they’ll be a small but big enough space to put a transition, but it will say that there’s no room. i never understood why that was EVER a feature just make the window for that better. again, i don’t believe this is even a problem in other programs. another issue i never understood is why you can’t overlay more than 2 videos, why there have to be a limit? if their is a reason why THAT small of a limit? also the microphone sounds really bad now, like it crunches up the audio and i didn’t really have that problem until now.. i really love this app i’ve been using it for years due to how user friendly it is. i love the new features. those are my only concerns.
