I love SocialDummy and use it frequently!! but the recent change in the messages looks a bit messy now with its functionality and readability.

What I had liked was that you could display who was sending the messages, and that all the icons in a group chat were visible at the top, so you could see everyone in it. You could also configure chats and adjust the settings but it seems that now you can only delete them? And because of being unable to see other icons, it’s also become a bit more difficult to change who’s sending messages and such.

The format of writing out a tweet has also become a bit more crowded. When I scrolled through it, I got a bit overwhelmed for a moment. Before it was a bit more uniform? (Thats probably just be because I was used to it though)
For the twitter, there also used to be the option to crop the photos as you saw fit, but it seems as though that feature isn’t available anymore? That you have to stick with however SocialDummy decides and it’s stuck afterwards which is a bit inconvenient :(

I’m sorry this is a bit lengthy and you’ve really created something amazing with SocialDummy, it’s just some things I’ve noticed. Thank you so much for all your hard work, it’s truly an amazing feat and I’m sorry if any of this makes you upset at all I’m just sharing my opinions which are probably very unwarranted anyways.

I really wish I could give this more stars but the updates are constantly breaking SocialDummy. The most recent one 5.1.5 has fixed the names being cut off but now hidden the outgoing messages completely.
No matter how many I send out or even if I send them as incoming and then change them to outgoing they’re still not visible. There’s not even a space indicating that they WERE there and just can’t be see, any incoming messages just slot right where the outgoing messages should have been.
This is incredibly frustrating considering I’m trying to make a story on time constraints, I have less than a week to get it finished and I don’t really have the time to be messing with app-breaking bugs like this.
I love using SocialDummy but I’m starting to regret the money I spent to get unlimited messages when it becomes unusable like this. Hoping it’ll get fixed soon and I can go back to using it, because other than this it really is fantastically made.

iMessages Group chat looks weird on bigger iPhones like 6s plus, 7plus, 8plus. Can’t put more than 3 users without group chat looking weird & leaning more towards left of screen. The part where the user icons first come in is too far over to the left. Should be more near the ⓘ symbol to the far right. That way 5 or 6 avatars can show properly in group chat. Otherwise it looks weird to use more than 3 people in group chat iMessages. It used to look more realistic when you could only add up to 8 users in iMessage groups. After the update to 12 users in iMessage group it started looking weird and too moved over to the left of the screen near the < icon on the far left. Please fix this bug because it now looks super fake. Also when you name the group chat it’s too far to the left as well near the < sign on the far left. Doesn’t look right to make the group iMessage at all. It’s disappointing because it used to look more realistic. Please fix this bug ASAP or at least in the next update.

I’m glad a friend recommended SocialDummy to me and I’m really happy with the variety and ease of use for SocialDummy. However, there are a few things I wish to bring to light.

For some reason, whenever I would try to take a screenshot in the messages screen by tapping the ‘i’ on the upper right corner, SocialDummy would crash, causing me to reopen SocialDummy and take a screenshot using the lock and home button manually.

Another thing I wish is to have customizable time stamps. While I like that I can change the date, day, and time of how long a post was published, I would like to be able to change the time as well. If I have tweets published at 8:00 am, I would still like the option of changing the time to 8:01, 8:02, 8:03, etc. without needing it to also be 8:00 am in real time. Same goes for the messages. Even if I am able to chose the time for the first initial message, I would like to continue having the option to choose the time for every message/tweet I post.

Hello! I really enjoy SocialDummy and I think it works really well besides a few problems. I frequently use the twitter section and though I went through the tutorial I was still a little confused on how to use it until a while back. I’m not sure if this is an option but is there a way to edit the accounts? I had to recreate them since I couldn’t found out how. Also it took a while to find out how to make tweets appear on profiles but I was just a little dumb. Whenever you go to someone’s profile there’s and option on the top write that lets you write a tweet. I tried to use it many times to make tweets appear on the profile but it never worked. I ended up going to the home page of twitter and making the tweets there. Overall it’s a decent app and it gets what I want done :)

I really like SocialDummy . I like to use the twitter section a lot cause I like to kinda make AUs/ Fan Fics, So a lot of the time I’m making tweets of characters interacting and stuff like the show but the posts are limited so I have to make the post, screenshot, and then delete. There are also limited comments so I have to make even more posts to put it all together in the end. I’m also broke so, even though it’s cheap, I’m not going to spend any money on a app I’m probably going to delete eventually. (Once I get bored) I get you need to make money off of it but it just annoys me and I have to do more work. Especially if I decide I want to re- do it. Then I have to create new posts because I already deleted the post and I can’t just edit it. Sorry for any typos.

This is a good app I use it for my fanfics but it would be dope if the social media outlets were more interactive, or somewhat connected to like the real social media account of someone if they are famous. Like their follower count and bio info was connected and we could make the accounts verified or not if the account is portrayed by a famous person. also wish you can make multiple accounts for different characters also made them look a little more like the real social media sites also make it to where you can click on the user account and that each account has a different amount of followers or following cause Instagram and Twitter don’t always have the same numbers just saying

SocialDummy is perfect for what I’m working on. It’s easy to use, and has the most access to various social media platforms.

My only issue is with this last update. It’s changed the way you enter text messages, it’s a bit more complicated with extra steps and it doesn’t autocorrect like normal texts would irl. The previous way seemed easier to me. Is there hopefully a way to correct this in the next update? If it weren’t for this switch, I would definitely give SocialDummy 5 stars. No other app out there has the versatility and user friendly system that this one does. I love SocialDummy, I just wish the messages would go back. Thanks for all your hard work to make this for us!

i got SocialDummy today to make a multimedia story with fake screenshots , and i love it !! it’s definitely the best out of all the apps like it ive tried , but i quickly found some things about it that could really be improved . in particular , i can’t for the life of me figure out how to turn on the twitter dark mode , it seems like you can’t edit fake accounts and you have to just make a new one entirely if you want to change something , and if you want to switch from twitter to Instagram in SocialDummy , you have to completely restart SocialDummy which is kinda a pain . maybe I’m just missing some stuff and this is already dealt with though . Thank you !!

I like SocialDummy it's a lot of fun but whenever I try to delete all posts on twitter - whether in a large pile or one at a time - the deleted posts come back all of a sudden the second I close SocialDummy and come back in. Ive literally just now been trying to delete my twitter posts for almost ten minutes and every. single. time. It's the same, it's all deleted, I close SocialDummy , open SocialDummy again and boom - there they are, the posts I just spent a good two minutes one by one deleting are back.

It's a good app, I'm not saying don't download it cuz i clearly enjoy it a lot. I just want this to be fixed.

I got this because I couldn’t find any websites to make group chats, but this one seems to be a bit funky. Some of the message bubbles are oddly long compared to others.
And there does not seem to be a way to do direct messages which is unfortunate.
I’ve mostly been using it for Twitter and that has been incredibly useful, only thing that I could see that could make it better would be if there was a way to make linked tweets instead of just replies.
Also the being able to put little pride flags for SocialDummy icon is wonderful and I was so happy when I noticed it.

Okay, so... before I got the recent update everything was fine. Then I get the stupid update and now my keyboard doesn't work. The keyboard was fine before I got the update. I don't mean to sound rude or anything, I'm just asking if this can possibly be fixed soon? Thank you for your time and patience! I also have a few suggestions if that's okay... on Facebook it'd be awesome if I could use a tag on it, like when you're tagging someone it'll turn blue... and with the replies on twitter and Instagram, if you could make them indent sort of, like how it is in the real apps. Besides that I LOVE SocialDummy! I would definitely recommend SocialDummy to anyone who likes to use fake messages for their stories, of fake tweets and posts. I would DEFINITELY GET SocialDummy! ✌️😎

Oh, I hate to bother you with this... But could we also have the choice of whether or not we want to make a group chat or regular chat in the message section? I hope that's not too much 😬 thank you for reading this if you do 😊 it means a lot.

With the recent announcement of SocialDummy shutting down on the 30th, I felt it was needed to say how grateful I am for SocialDummy. I personally used it to show my OC’s (original characters) stories, and show how they would act in my favorite show’s plots and so on.

Before downloading SocialDummy, I had no way to confidently tell those stories, but with SocialDummy, I can proudly say that SocialDummy is what truly motivated me to tell those stories.

It especially opened up an intriguing way of writing stories. I used the Twitter option to do small tid-bits, to provide information, to pass the time by in my story, or to just transition into the main written portion of my stories. I used the messaging option to write out important conversations between my characters and I used the Lock Screen option to add some sort of tension to certain situations.

For all the bugs I had to deal with, it was ultimately a very gratifying adventure of finally being able to write out my OC’s stories in a way that was comfortable to me, and for that I thank you, Ashley Richards!!

If anybody has their own stories and are currently worried about losing all their progress, I suggest finding a way to store those posts/texts/lock screens/ etc. via screenshots, iCloud storage, google photos, or hard drive.

For anyone that’s ever wanted to use SocialDummy, I suggest using it while you can! It’ll be off the stores by December 30th so use that remaining time wisely!

I have used SocialDummy many times before and absolutely loved it. However, when I tried to go in yesterday and today to add some new posts on the Instagram section, none of my pictures would upload. This is frustrating because I have spent some money to be able to add more posts, and now I cannot because my pictures won't upload. Hopefully you can fix this soon because I would really like to change my rating because I usually love SocialDummy. EDIT: thank you so much for addressing my concerns! It was very helpful, and I am so glad that I can use SocialDummy again!

SocialDummy is perfect..... I’m always pranking my friends and family (trying to prank, sometimes it works) but nothing better than getting 100,000 followers on “Facebook”, “Twitter”, and “Instagram” or fake DM’S by celebs😂 functions great with/without WiFi. I also love the part where you can set a time to be “called” the fake text messages are great too, but one thing I don’t like about most of it is you can only have a certain amount of posts or text if you want more you have to pay and I think that is stupid to pay for a prank app...... otherwise it is good and I recommend it if your looking to prank someone or just for fun!
