The Cookie Finder part of GirlScoutCookieFinder doesn’t even function properly. The refine results feature to try and find locations near you doesn’t work, deleted after 5 mins.

Doesn’t recognize my location when I allow full access to location services. I don’t live in the middle of nowhere so this shouldn’t happen.

Very sad.

App directions took me to the bottom of a dry riverbed. Someone needs to be able to edit the information to correct addresses and other mistakes. Wasted time and no cookies.

It seems that there are no actual booths set up anywhere because of covid so don’t waste your time downloading GirlScoutCookieFinder. GirlScoutCookieFinder reports locations you can go buy cookies but no one is there.

I can’t for the life of me figure out knowing this they don’t pull GirlScoutCookieFinder , but I suppose someone get a reward every time it’s downloaded.

If you want to order through GirlScoutCookieFinder there is a 4 box minimum and the shipping is $9, no thanks my cookie fix isn’t that bad. I’ll just wait until next year

So not only is GirlScoutCookieFinder a complete waste of your time because it will take you somewhere where THERE ARE NO COOKIES OR STAND but it’s also a waste of money if you order online. They get you with a 4 box minimum and this is probably cause they are charging $10 for “shipping” and don’t want you SPENDING MORE ON THE SHIPPING then the cookies themselves. Like what? Figure your stuff out. Get people there cookies without ripping them off...and don’t waste people’s time with GirlScoutCookieFinder either.

Cannot understand how in 2021 there are no official channels to buy Girl Scout cookies, then that brings you to an app to “search locally.” GirlScoutCookieFinder does nothing, navigation is atrocious and it’s the most useless app I’ve ever downloaded.

For me GirlScoutCookieFinder said Green Valley grocery store well you know what there a chain there’s five or six of them around here and nothing was specific and you couldn’t get the exact address of where it was so I think it this year they made up any Girl Scout cookies don’t download GirlScoutCookieFinder it’s a waste of time and then they have your information

A location finder app with no locations is useless. I live in southern CA in a big city where there are bound to be girl scouts selling cookies. But GirlScoutCookieFinder said the closest girl scout cookie booths were hundreds of miles away in Yuma, Arizona which had over 10 locations. GirlScoutCookieFinder is useless unless the sellers in your area input their selling locations in GirlScoutCookieFinder and regularly update them.

I wish I had the option to rate GirlScoutCookieFinder with 0 stars. In theory this idea, is fabulous. It supplies everyday people with yummy cookies, & would help support the troops with business. In reality, it does neither of these things. Spent 3 boxes worth of cookies on gas and utter heartbreak. Perhaps, by the time I actually find Girl Scouts (without GirlScoutCookieFinder of course) I will still have funds for cookies. Probably not though. 0/5.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean anyone will actually be selling cookies where it says they will be... which I learned today after I trekked across Brooklyn to buy them at Trader Joe’s in the middle of an alleged sales period there. There’s no point in having GirlScoutCookieFinder if you’re not actually going to be selling where and when it says you will be. What a waste of time.

I agree with the other people that are saying GirlScoutCookieFinder is useless. I went to 7 booth locations at the time and place GirlScoutCookieFinder said they’d be set up and there was nobody there. No table, no people, no signs, not even a cookie crumb. Finally, the 8th place I went (and only because I was nearby running errands) actually had Girl Scouts and cookies there.

Apparently, you can order through GirlScoutCookieFinder and either pay $$ for shipping or have local Girl Scouts deliver your cookies for free...except the free delivery has no actual date. It’s just whenever local COVID regulations allow. Which is probably never.

I was trying to locate a girl scout cookie stand and the only way to do it is to download GirlScoutCookieFinder . That is so unnecessary. I am just going to delete it right after. What’s the point of your website if you’re just using it as an advertisement for an app with a 2 star rating

Totally useless app, went to 3 different locations per GirlScoutCookieFinder , no scouts, and no cookies to be found! And wouldn’t have even given it one star, but had no choice or wouldn’t allow me to post.

I don’t know if it’s because of user error on behalf of the troops that are designating their locations and times but I’ve shown up to multiple locations during supposedly active times and there’s no one to be found.

A finder app that doesn’t find anything is worthless.

GirlScoutCookieFinder does exactly what you’d want it to do. It shows you where the Girl Scouts will be set up, and even though the distance can be kinda wonky, you can just enter the addresses in your own maps app for a more accurate distance. A lot of people complain about showing up and there not being scouts set up, but...they’re children? They’re not setting up for a 12 hour day so you can get cookies when it’s convenient for you. Also there’s sooo many reasons a troop may not be able to set up one day. It’s pretty sad to see so many grown people complaining about children who sell cookies for free. Just say you like child labor.

When I saw the K-Swiss kicks I immediately bought three pairs.
I don’t even have feet.

Used immediately to order cookies from a troop that still has leftover cookies. Nice to still get Thin Mints.

Got in my app and found a group of girls scouts selling cookies. There was a stand with a Covid approved barrier. I bought 6 boxes❤️❤️❤️
App was VERY helpfull, thank you Girl Scouts!!

Easily found date and time for cookies in my area! GirlScoutCookieFinder shows this seasons cookie flavors and gave locations to buy them. Super happy I downloaded GirlScoutCookieFinder to satisfy my cookie craving!

Now it’s up to the Troops to actually enter their cookie booths into the system so they’re discoverable with GirlScoutCookieFinder. For those Troops that do, cookie sales await. We love GirlScoutCookieFinder. We’ve had many customers find us through GirlScoutCookieFinder and they’ve loaded up on cases of cookies to tide themselves over until next cookie season, or next week anyway. :)

This is a complete waste of time... It does not show any locations for cookies, rather just tries to get my email, and info to have someone from the "Colonial Coast" contact me for help in placing an order? I live right on the East Coast in Va. Beach, and have bought cookies at plenty of locations just by randomly seeing them, I guess I will revert to that again. Girl Scouts better fix this quick. Was a great idea, as just a very simple way to find cookies. Turned into an advertising failure. Do not download. You will delete it within 10 minutes of frustration. Sorry girls.

I don't understand GirlScoutCookieFinder at all! I went to two locations on the same day in the time frame that GirlScoutCookieFinder said Girl Scouts would be at those places and there were 0 Girl Scouts in sight at both of them! I should've listened to all of the other bad reviews because it does seem that GirlScoutCookieFinder literally just lists random locations and time frames that just aren't accurate... I can't believe this is supposed to be the "official" Girl Scout cookie finder app.. it needs to be taken down! & if I could give GirlScoutCookieFinder 0 stars, I most definitely would.

As most of the prior reviews have already stated, there is little correlation between the times and locations listed on GirlScoutCookieFinder and the presence of actual Girl Scout troops. I went to two different locations well within the designated time slots listed in GirlScoutCookieFinder and in both instances there was nobody in sight selling cookies.

GirlScoutCookieFinder should provide a way to contact the local troop to verify whether they will actually show up. Make it easy for me to give you my money.

Based off some reviews, GirlScoutCookieFinder seems to work sometimes but use at your own risk because chances are pretty good you will be wasting your time and gasoline.

I have tried using GirlScoutCookieFinder two years in a row. Not once has it lead me to any place where Girl Scout cookies are actually sold. I have spent entire days driving from location to location based on the information in GirlScoutCookieFinder and I have never found one place indicated on GirlScoutCookieFinder where cookies are actually being sold. I have actually had better luck randomly running into places where scout units are selling cookies (in places not listed in GirlScoutCookieFinder). I would implore the makers of GirlScoutCookieFinder to verify the locations listed. Maybe it works better in some locations, but do not waste your time with it if you live in Southern California.

The sorting of locations is not designed very well. It initially comes up by distance. That's probably pretty good but if you change it to date the distance should be the secondary sort. Near me it shows one that's 0.0 miles then one 9 miles, then another that's 0.0 miles. Then 7.2 miles. I checked them all and it's not date or times it just randomly lists them but does list the closest date first. Logically there should be another sort order after date. Whoever did the design work for GirlScoutCookieFinder did a very bad job.

I enabled location settings and also used my zip ode to find cookies. It kept showing me places in Iowa that were “27 miles away”. I live in Ohio. Pretty sure it doesn’t take me 30 minutes to drive to Iowa.

I downloaded this to my iPad and it worked perfectly. It asked if it could use my current location and when I said yes, it showed dates, times and locations from today through the 15th. It also showed dates and times for surrounding towns, which is nice since I live in the middle of nowhere. My husband however thinks this is a terrible app since it was designed for a phone and the screen won't enlarge on my iPad. It is inconvenient, but as I only wanted dates and times, I don't mind so much that I can't get the display to fill the entire screen.

... Just kidding, Girl Scouts, my hubby thought that title would be hilarious. We were using the Girl Scout website to try and find cookies, and went to two locations unsuccessfully, just using the website... GirlScoutCookieFinder is GREAT, very well done. We "happened" upon a Girl Scout group selling cookies that GirlScoutCookieFinder showed when we looked on it LATER. App does get 4 stars just because there seems to be little guarantee that the scouts will actually BE at the specified location.

I'm a Girl Scout and I would LOVE to be able to do something special on this. It's designed for everyone (which is awesome) but is there any way of adding a little something special for the Girl Scouts actually doing the selling? Maybe a thing for pictures or a star on users of GirlScoutCookieFinder ? Maybe a Girl Scout or cookie parent could write a note? Council gives the cookie master (what we call our cookie parent) a password for each troop? I don't know what you all could do but it'd be great if you could! I'm a senior in high school and a forever Girl Scout and adore this idea and how y'alI are doing this but I hope us current girls can get a nod!

The Girl Scout I usually buy cookies from I lost contact with his year and panicked when I realized I needed cookies and had no one to order from! Downloaded the cookie finder and it told me there were Girl Scouts selling at my nearest Walmart. I went and sure enough they were there! They didn’t have all the kinds of cookies I wanted so I opened GirlScoutCookieFinder again to see if there was something close. It said giant eagle. Another little 5 minute drive and I had everything I needed! Love it!

The sheer fact that GirlScoutCookieFinder exists has brought an abundance of happiness to my once ordinary life. The mere creation of it has brought not only the deliciousness that is Girl Scout cookies (Samoas, I'm looking at you) into my life but also the eternal joy in knowing that I can have easier access to the dates and time frames in which I can access them. I implore that every iPhone user download GirlScoutCookieFinder and experience this overwhelming sense of inner peace as well.

I looked at the reviews and was very nervous to trust GirlScoutCookieFinder. Didn’t want to drive somewhere and be disappointed. However it worked perfectly! I put in my location and found the Girl Scouts, no problem. I’m not sure if everyone else is doing this, but I go to settings and make sure to set the availability to “today”. It’s not automatically set to that, so it’s possible that the people who it didn’t work for didn’t do that.

Actual cookie sales at booths at stores, churches, etc., don't even start until Fri Feb 19th. YOU CANT ORDER THEM ON GirlScoutCookieFinder. Just because your coworkers sold u cookies via invoice/salesheet in January doesn't mean that they were at your local grocery store selling them too. This is a great app when used CORRECTLY. There is NO PERSONAL INFO to enter. I used GirlScoutCookieFinder fine without entering anything!

I’m new to the area and did not know any one from whom I could pre order. I found out about GirlScoutCookieFinder from the local news (WFSB) and it worked great! The girls and the cookies were exactly where GirlScoutCookieFinder said they would be and I happily supported them. I will use GirlScoutCookieFinder again and recommend it to others!
