App works and it’s very good..BUT the problems begin when to try to cancel it.. it’s a NIGHTMARE and if you try canceling before or do the trial ends they just cut you off right then..So I made a one time purchase of 280 text and son many minutes i believe it was for $7-8 and now started get notifications that some of the features where ending and that i only had 26 days life.. have only us 5 text of the amount given if you make a one time purchase it shouldn’t have a time limit or that you lose some of the features that’s like buying a car and 3 months later they come take the tires off of it because you’ve had it 3 months so all in all if you don’t plan on using it a lot don’t get they just keep asking for more money

I have had CM for years now which means I’ve had to switch devices - not a smooth process - the fine print of what backup subscriptions DO (which data is saved & can be restored) is not made plain
• Customer service is “canned” - apologizes & that is about it & drags on without any resolution(s) especially if multiple issues (we have to talk to technicians...)
• It is fine for hiding docs, pics & video but sharing them with another user is hit & miss
(and, again, iffy if you change or restore a device)
• DO NOT EXPECT YOUR MONEY’S WORTH! There must be a easier-to-use & understand subscription encryption service. This has gotten worse over the years, not better.

I tried to sign up for a UK number and paid $4 to do so. Apple shows I have subscribed, but the Cover Me app still shows me having an expired number. Tried support but it told me to check my email settings within CoverMePrivateTextCall . My email was there. There was also no obvious to change it. Not great.

Just received reply despite email message. It suggested I pay via credit... even though I have already subbed through apple. Paying twice isn’t the sort of answer I was hoping for.

CoverMePrivateTextCall worked well when I first got it. Only problem was that I wasn’t prompted to create an account, but they were really quick to take my money. I bought half a year’s subscription for 30 dollars and only was able to use it for a week. Tried to log back in to no avail, contacted support and was given the runaround. I won’t be seeing that money again, but might as well warn others before they fork over their hard earned cash.

The texting in CoverMePrivateTextCall may work but the calling is virtually nonexistent. Out of 100 calls I’ve tried to make maybe one or two would actually go through. Worst part of it is I paid money for CoverMePrivateTextCall and it didn’t work. when I contacted Customer Service about paying for CoverMePrivateTextCall I received no response. Customer service it was virtually nonexistent. My opinion is that all of the five star ratings on CoverMePrivateTextCall are fake. CoverMePrivateTextCall is a total rip off. Stay away.

So in your privacy statement you state "Calls and texts travel through thirdy parties networks in clear text without encryption" This means are information is not encrypted and we have know idea who those third parties are. Cover me uses AES 128 and AES 256 encryption why not just use 256 for everything as that's the industry standard. AES is negligible and we have know idea when our data is 256 or 128. In your privacy statement it makes it seam you are undercover selling our data especially in the vault when we backup our data. Sounds so fishy

Been having CoverMePrivateTextCall for 4 years and I get the 100 dollar calling package every year, app will work great for a month or two then out of no where it will go offline no text calls or anything, completely shut down for 2 or 3 days leaving people to believe you are ignoring them or vanished, if you need a reliable second contact app that doesn't go out every other month I would not recommend this one

Good app for what’s it’s designed for but good luck getting any help from them when there is a problem. I paid for the more advanced version and tried to upload to their vault and restore it in my new phone and lost all my passwords. I followed the instructions on how to do it and only the name of the websites show up now. Nothing else. Customer service replied saying they would have the technicians look into it get back to me and have never gotten back to me. I put a lot of trust into CoverMePrivateTextCall and the aggravation and loss it’s caused me is huge. Over 60 password gone. Plus tons of other stuff. Really disappointed. So basically don’t ever try to move your info to another device.

I would have given CoverMePrivateTextCall five stars About a month ago, until I found out that you cannot send videos unless the person that you are sending to is also a “friend“ on Coverme...Which essentially means that they have to be a subscriber. I find this to be completely unacceptable and false advertising.
What if I do not want the person that I’m sending a text to, to know that I use CoverMePrivateTextCall ? Ridiculous.
Moving on to another app...

Would have given a 5 but I dislike how he app sends a message to the recipient when I delete a message I've sent and later decide to unsend. I wish CoverMePrivateTextCall would give me the option to do so privately. Otherwise, I love everything else about CoverMePrivateTextCall . It's been reliable via text and private calling and the sound quality is even better than FaceTime, imo!

I always leave CoverMePrivateTextCall on “no notification” but there needs to be some kind of notification (buzzing?) other than ringing when a call is received.

I’ve also been getting calls from numbers I don’t know and no message is left. Probably because my number has been recycled several times.

App quit working after a week. I can’t get a refund or anyone to respond to my emails. I deleted CoverMePrivateTextCall after making sure my email was provided, hoping it was a technical issues and I could restore CoverMePrivateTextCall and it would work. CoverMePrivateTextCall won’t restore because it said it doesn’t recognize my email!

I usually love CoverMePrivateTextCall, although since I updated CoverMePrivateTextCall yesterday I am not receiving notifications (both read and sent message). I checked to make sure that nothing was disabled/enabled, but unfortunately seems like this was caused by the update. Please fix! Otherwise great app!

im a teenager and my parents always look though my phone and check my chats with my friends, no space at all. CoverMePrivateTextCall is just what I need, helps a lot. Whenever my mom sees it, she can only see a new reader app, cannt find any of my messages, already recommended to my friends

I use CoverMePrivateTextCall for naughty chats with my wife. Our children always play my phone. CoverMePrivateTextCall is protected by passwords and even masked as a news reader app. It keeps our messages safe hidden from our children. highly recommend for couples who have children.
