Lots of little glitches

This is app is ok, but it is very glitchy. When you exit out of the app you have to slog through all the options to find the sound you had before. The layout is ever changing, and it’s just never worked really well. I’ve had to contact the developer to get my purchases restored, which they did quickly, but still a pain on my end. I used this app for a long time because I liked that it would play in the background while I listened to a pod cast etc. I’m giving up on it though as it’s just too frustrating to dial in the specific sound I want night after night and every time they update it the interface changes just a little which is also frustrating. Just not very intuitive set up.
Inconvenient

I’ve used the app for probably two years? And I really liked it. Now that the major update has happened, it no longer resumes the most recently used setting, and I have to go select the sound I want each time I want to use it. This seems like a standard option a sounds app should have, so I’m not sure why it was gotten rid of.
Update: it seems that under “classic rain sounds” they’re all the same sound. I used to be able to listen to one that was just heavy rain that didn’t change, but each option is one that fades in and out from heavy to gentle rain, and I don’t want that. I don’t find any method of getting it back to the heavy rain sounds I listened to for years. Really disappointed in the update.
The updated version is worse

I updated the app to the latest version and it is worse than the old version. The old version allows you to download 4 free extra sounds as a free user which you could delete a sound to download another. But the new version doesn't let you download any sounds or delete existing sounds. Also, the UI is more complicated and it has unnecessary animations which drains the battery and there's no way to disable it. If I can't use the app as a free user then I guess I may have to delete it and use a different one.
