Does not work

This alarm app looks so appealing. However, for each of the three mornings I've tried it, the alarm has not sounded. Alarm is activated. Ringer is on. App is open when I go to sleep. I even set it again this morning after getting up to test it. Nothing. Either it doesn't work or instructions are missing or incorrect. Help please, Michael Yap.

wanted to try the lite version first before spending money. set a test alarm, turned volume up, sat and waited....nothing happened.
