This weather section of this new app is SO much more work than the old. I can only see 1 location at a time and the other locations have to be deleted to see that one while the current location has to be added back on so there is only 1 location listed.

The radar goes so wide, even with a location selected, that I have to “find” where I am to even see what’s happening. The 3-dot option to change from past to future is so small that it takes some hunting to find on the map.

I can no longer see the hourly temps for the next day & a half and the color of the font against the background makes the temps very difficult to see.

I just want to be able to see what’s happening outside quickly - is there a break in the rain to get the dogs out and back in? What temperature will it be when I get off work or the kids get out of school? It helps to know when getting ready for the day.

I don’t have time to “wait” to see the weather on the am news. This was my go to weather tool and now it’s just a hard tool to use. I expect something better from Fox Carolina! Now I have to find something better!

New update has made FOXCarolinaNews better. Loads faster, has not " locked up " since update. Still room for improvement. They have not addressed any of the issues below:

The front page gives you 3 or 4 articles to look at, you have to open one of those to see what other articles are available. They do not date or time stamp the articles, so when you open FOXCarolinaNews and see 3 or so different articles about the same story, you don't know which one is the most updated one.

I'm new to this state and this area. The Fox 20 news app is quite helpful but often the same article is duplicated almost next to each other. Makes navigating through to find the latest information tedious. Someone also likes to use the exclamation mark way too much. This is the news, not a thriller novel.
I still give FOXCarolinaNews 4 stars. Everyone is doing the best they can and I appreciate it.

Important alerts interrupt the user, making them switch to see a blank screen for five or more minutes. This even happens with regular scheduled broadcasts. Video broadcasts aren’t available even though the announcers say it’s there.
I’ll go with WSPA...they’ve got it together and don’t waste my time.

The Fox News app. Gives a very good summary of local news. It takes very little time at all for me to be fully appraised of the news in my area. Best of all it is free from the PC/postmodernist preaching that comes from media mainstream.

Fox keeps you up to date with local news and is great on alerting you to breaking news... 5 Stars plus !!!

The original app was better. As someone who doesn’t watch news on tv FOXCarolinaNews is how most of my information is digested. It is very annoying that you click on something and it’s a video only with no text. Let alone you scroll down and it just repeats the same news

FOXCarolinaNews was once flawless, but alas… they aren’t keeping up. It won’t load the live broadcast easily. Also, it doesn’t seem to have a channel on the Alexa “Stream Player”, though WYFF does at channel 171.

Hope that iOS15 will show some improvement.

Enjoy the broadcast and all of the coverage. I would enjoy seeing more follow ups. Like most, you will start a story and state more details later but later never comes.

Too many ads, very slow, half the articles have many misspelled words and FOXCarolinaNews crashes when trying to select closing options in the settings.
Please return it back to the way it was before. Thank you

I use my tablet to watch the news. Now all the articles only come i. Portrait, not landscape version. What a pain. Now I’m going to have to search for a different news channel’s news that allows landscape.

Great news app which I read daily on my ipad. Stories are kept up to date as events occur. Keep up the good work. RD

The new app update was the worst. The layout of the old one was much easier to access certain things, amd the weather coverage breakdown on this one is a pain. Prefer the older version for sure.

This is a great news app however the play button is not accessible with voiceover. If this could be fixed this would be a five star rating.

The new app is awesome and I love the way it is designed and the graphics are awesome, I like using it,keep up the great work, James m.

I have used Fox Carolina news app ever since it was created. But this recent update has me rating it useless. It is too confusing trying to find the articles I want to read. I always say if it’s not broke don’t fix it. I will go to other news apps until you fix this mess.

The updated app only offers the portrait view for iPads. Please fix so I don’t have to get my local news from somewhere else !

I like FOXCarolinaNews except for the almost daily shared CNN content. CNN is extremely left field and they write attack stories instead of news stories.
