Tencent claimed that all writers don’t have any copyright from there own books which is absolutely ridiculers. Also they claimed that they are the owner and the author is just to write the book with their authority, Tencent can take the book from the authors anytime. Also, they said that the authors are employees of Tencent but no need to obey the employment law, say, they don’t need to give them any benefit....
that’s so stupid and we need to tell people what Tencent did for the hard working authors.
I used Qidian for more than 16 years, which is basically from my primary school to my PhD (also when I was working). I read books from this amazing website when I studied alone in the UK and the US, traveling from Iceland to Sahara, I do spend a decent amount of time (also money) on it. But now, after Tencent takeover this website, I feel really frustrated and disappointed, maybe it’s time for me to quit reading novels and concentrate on my research.

Qidian ios app offers you the high price and the least service. You won’t able to upgrade your membership or use any discount you have. They also don’t give a s*t on money you spent on your favorite characters as they promised.

Have u tried to login on iPad? It’s not possible to click on ‘I agree’. I can’t access my account for weeks. Disappointing

You won't be able to Login with Alipay after the latest update. It's not that the account verification is problematic, it's that YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO TYPE IN YOUR LOGIN INFO.

And if you try to report this with their customer support, you'll have to remember your nickname, otherwise they refuse to deal with you, even if you can provide your Alipay account. But honestly, are there a lot of people who stare at their nicknames in a reading app?

I think I'll go request a refund through app store if they don't fix it within a week. Pretty much I spent like $100 or so on books that I won't be able to read again.

Pretty dumb release of the latest version. Keep popping up warning messages. Can’t log on. Client services offered zero help.

The company itself wasn’t that good anymore. Many fine writers went to other places.
And of course, there are so many racism sentences and statements lol.

Haven’t been able to log in for a couple of months now. Talked to in app customer support, after giving them all the necessary info and screenshots they decided not to do anything about it. Dont know why i even bothered to rate them, they obviously dont care.

Not going to lie, but racism is some how accepted in 起点读书看小说听书追漫画的阅读神器. Whenever I report an obvious racist comment, it’s going to say it’s there is no problem. But yes it is racist.
