I am a lifelong guitar player and like many others, I have explored numerous styles of guitar over the past 30 years. When I decided to focus on Gypsy Jazz a few years ago, I found that one of the best ways to discover it (without having a teacher of Gypsy Jazz nearby) was through Robin Nolan’s books and CDs.

Secrets magazine not only reflects Robin’s generosity and straightforward teaching style but also includes other video lessons, profiles and perspectives by some of the world’s finest musicians. There are no other guitar magazines like it! Each issue is a gem, with a wealth of information that would be impossible to get anywhere else.

I recently downloaded GypsyJazzGuitarSecrets because I liked what was in the freebies. Although GypsyJazzGuitarSecrets crashed often in the freebie issues, I bought a subscription anyway. The content and videos are just awesome! Some of the best I've seen compared to other guitar apps I own. Unfortunately, this is offset by GypsyJazzGuitarSecrets 's continued crashing issue. At times, it's just frustrating when app crashes 2, 3, and even 4 times while viewing videos with my guitar in my hands! For the price of the subscription, this is inexcusable. If and when this issue is fixed, GypsyJazzGuitarSecrets would be a 5 star hands down! Until then, it's a disappointment.
Summary: 👍 one thumbs up for content + 👎 one thumbs down for app's crashing issue.

Loving this emag! If you are interested in all things Gypsy Jazz what more could you ever want!?!? Each issue is an intelligent array of who's-who (both yesterday and today) and how they do what they do. You can get to know today's top players while gleaning all the how-to you can handle. This mag should be required reading! And as far as the tech side of GypsyJazzGuitarSecrets goes...I find all bugs have been corrected. This emag is a major contribution to fans and players alike...Kudos to Nolan and Company!

Robin's e-mag has excellent material from some of the best players in the world and also from really fine players who are less known internationally! Almost everything in Gypsy Jazz Secrets can be used immediately by players of all levels. Month by month Gypsy Jazz Secrets will expand your knowledge - new licks, new tunes, new technique, and new chordal ideas! All presented in video for easy understanding and learning! Simply the best online mag for the Gypsy Guitarist - Superb in every way!

The best iOS guitar instruction magazine available. Content is equal or better in quality if not quantity than print magazines. You get least 5 lessons w/tab and multiple tutor videos as well as exclusive performances from jazz and gypsy jazz musos and the occasional giants.. Minor quibble: sometimes the audio could use a little post-production (some vids are recorded in spaces not best suited for recording) but this is just opinion and does not interfere with instruction.

GypsyJazzGuitarSecrets really shows the potential for instructional media on the IPad. Robin Nolan is a great musician with a lot of experience in teaching this style in a way that's easy to understand. He also has some excellent guest instructors. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves gypsy jazz/Django music.

This is a great service for the gypsy jazz community, and Robin is the perfect guy to pull it off. He's got a great sense for what fans and musicians would be interested in. The content is consistently interesting and (for musicians) enlightening. Looking forward to the subsequent issues!

Great content wonderful way to learn and be inspired. The support team was second to none, they even offered to Skype to explain and solve my problem. Now if I could just play like Robin and Django.

It's products like Secrets that helps keep GJ alive and flourishing. Robin leaves no stone unturned when it comes bringing fresh content each month and I believe he's still picking up steam. I've had no issues with GypsyJazzGuitarSecrets itself

Robin Nolan has done it again! Yet another totally excellent way of learning gypsy jazz guitar. Not only do you get a big dose of Robin's ninja moves, you also get excellent video lessons from outstanding guest contributors. Highly recommended and a great value!

I've been a professional guitar player my whole life. But when I decided it was time to into Gypsy jazz there's really only one source that is a full head above the rest. "Secrets..." Is the best!

Technology is always changing and this mag is just another example of how to learn how to do something that without advances in technology it wouldn't even be possible!
